Visited the USS Lexington while on Spring Break in Corpus Christi. I was excited for the opportunity to try flying the drone around the USS Lexington. It was very windy and I almost didn't fly at all. Winds were in the 25-30 mph range. I first attempted to do a waypoint mission but the waypoint flight couldn't keep up with the wind. Had the wind been blowing out instead of in, I probably would not have flown, but since it was blowing inland, I figured it would be okay. The Mavic handled the wind just fine in manual sport mode, but it did make me nervous so I kept the flight short and only got some shots circling the ship. At any rate, still a cool point of interest to video! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Video Gear -------------...
