Uncle Luke is the fifth album released by Luther Campbell. It was released on May 14, 1996, on Luther Campbell Music and was mainly produced by Darren "DJ Spin" Rudnick, and Rod XL, with additional production by Frankie Cutlass, Ice Cube and Doug E. Fresh. Uncle Luke was a success, peaking at #51 on the Billboard 200 and #8 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and spawned a single, "Scarred", which made it to #64 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #7 on the Hot Rap Singles, the song was also turned into a Video.
Uncle Luke was joint-distributed through Alliance Entertainment Corporation and the Island Black Music division of Island Records (though they weren't directly mentioned in name) and is the first and only Luke solo album released under the temporary new umbrella name, Luther Campbell Music after Luke Records went into bankruptcy, sold its catalog to Joseph "Lil' Joe" Weinberger (ultimately forming Lil' Joe Records) and went under reconstruction. The Luke Records name was almost instantly reinstated months later.
"I Wanna Rock" is a song, written and composed by Dee Snider and performed by his band Twisted Sister. It was released on the 1984 album Stay Hungry. In 2009, it was named the 17th VH1 Greatest Hard Rock Songs by VH1.
Like the earlier "We're Not Gonna Take It", the video features actor Mark Metcalf, best known as the sadistic Neidermeyer from the movie National Lampoon's "Animal House" released in 1978. Here, he plays a ferocious teacher who harasses a student for drawing the Twisted Sister logo on his notebook, shrieking: "What kind of a man desecrates a defenseless textbook?!? I've got a good mind to slap your fat face!!" (This echoed his line from National Lampoon's "Animal House:" "What kind of man hits a defenseless animal [a misbehaving horse]? I've got a good mind to smash your fat face in!") After his attempts to stop his rock-loving students fail, he crawls into the principal's office, only to be confronted by the principal, played by Stephen Furst, aka Kent "Flounder" Dorfman from National Lampoon's "Animal House." Furst even gets to reprise one of his big lines from the movie: "Oh boy, is this great!" He delivers it as he sprays water from a seltzer bottle at the mean teacher. (In the homecoming-parade climactic sequence of the actual film, Metcalf's Niedermeyer shot out the seltzer bottle just before Furst's Dorfman could do this last.)

Capital D (real name David J. Kelly), also known as Cap D, is an underground rapper and lawyer from Chicago, Illinois. He is known for his solo work, his collaboration with Tony Fields as the duo "All Natural," and for founding the label All Natural Records, on which all his music has been released.
Kelly grew up in a Catholic family on the South Side of Chicago, before his family moved to Flossmoor, where he attended Homewood-Flossmoor High School. He later attended Morehouse College (B.A., 1996) and the University of Illinois Law School. (J.D., 2004).
Kelly started the label "All Natural" in 1997, on which he released his first solo album, Writer's Block (The Movie), in 2002. He was also a member of a rap group, also called "All Natural", with Tony Fields, aka "Tony B. Nimble", which they started in 1993. This duo intended to release their first single, "50 Years", on the short-lived label Wild Pitch. After this label folded, they started the All Natural label to release "50 Years," and on which they released their debut album, No Additives, No Preservatives, in 1998.Greg Kot praised the album as one of "the year's freshest rap releases" and wrote that "Though it lacks the cinematic production of the best East Coast hip-hop, it marks the arrival of an assertive and unusually insightful new voice in Kelly." He released his second solo album, Insomnia, in 2004 on the same label, shortly after he received his law degree. Insomnia was noted for its heavily political themes, which led some critics to compare it to Noam Chomsky, and was also highlighted for addressing Kelly's newfound religion of Islam. All Natural's third album, Vintage, was released in 2005 and was also heavily influenced by Kelly's religious views.
