David A. Ulliott (1 April 1954 – 6 April 2015), known by the nickname Devilfish, was an English professional gambler and poker player. Formerly, Ulliott was a minor figure in the Hull underworld, but went on to become a World Series of Poker bracelet-winner, and a mainstay of televised poker. At the poker table, he was known for wearing orange-tinted prescription sunglasses, a sharp suit (or leather jacket) and gold knuckleduster rings reading "Devil" and "Fish", which he made himself.
Ulliott was born in 1954, the son of Stanley Ulliott, a World War II paratrooper turned truck driver and his wife Joyce (née Jefferson). He grew up in a small council house in a working class area, where he shared a room with his sister Janet (who later died of cancer). Ulliott was unmotivated throughout his education and left school at the age of 15, without any O-levels, to take his first job making trophies for G K Beaulah. After visiting the bookies with his father and winning his first bet at 50:1, he picked winners at horse racing with his work colleagues during hot lunch breaks. He was eventually fired from the job for taking an afternoon off to go to the races.
Late Night Poker is a British television series that helped popularize poker in the 2000s. It used "under the table" cameras that enabled the viewer to see each player's cards. The show became a cult hit on Channel 4 in the UK when it first aired in 1999.
The show originally ran for six series between 1999 and 2002. After a couple of spin-off series, Late Night Poker Ace and Late Night Poker Masters, it returned in 2008.
The series returned to Channel 4 for its 10th series in 2011. Sponsored by Gala Coral Group, 32 players competed for the $150,000 first prize. Commentary on the series was provided by two of the UK's top poker professionals, Victoria Coren and James Akenhead.
Some of the top players in action were Luke Schwartz, Roberto Romanello, Vanessa Selbst, Jake Cody, James Bord and Liv Boeree. The field contained five former Late Night Poker champions, Dave Ulliott (also known as Devilfish), Simon Trumper, Padraig Parkinson, Peter Costa and John Duthie.
Late Night is shorthand for several different things:
Antanas Guoga (born December 17, 1973 in Kaunas, Lithuania), more commonly known as Tony G, is a Lithuanian-Australian businessman, professional poker player, philanthropist and Member of the European Parliament for the Liberal Movement.
Guoga spent his childhood in Kaunas and in Alytus district (Kalesninkai) in Lithuania. When he was 11 years old, he went to Australia. Guoga lived in Melbourne where he graduated from school, and had various jobs: repairing sewing machines, washing cars.
Later, Guoga started working as an assistant of the Australian Mortgage Brokers chief Bill Buchanan. Guoga has good logical thinking and aptitude to mathematics, therefore, he studied accounting and finance at college.
In 1993 he was employed by an investment bank in Hong Kong managed by CitiBank. His responsibilities included attracting new customers and their investment portfolio management.
Later, Guoga successfully invested in a news portal, and in Rate Detective life insurance company in Australia. In addition, he developed a trading business in London.

Devilfish was a decent player, knew the game, knew how to play against the different opponents, but that wasn’t the reason I liked him so much. Dave Ulliott was no boring poker player. He wasn’t always nice and had a great rivalry against Tony G that came to view almost every time the two sat at the same table. Because of that, you knew that not only the poker would be interesting, but the trash talk and table talk between Tony G and Devilfish would be even better, almost priceless. As if the wait was not enough
and one can only take so much
you broke in to pieces
seems hopeless now but at least you know
the tables can turn around
and time will repair you
and the rain comes and goes and all is forgiven can we learn to let go so all is forgiven
your on your knees reaching out reaching for someone
to lift you up right off the ground is anyone out there
you cant breath your choking
you'll make it thru just keep holding on i know that it won't be long 'til somebody saves you
and the rain comes and goes and all is forgiven can we learn to let go so all is forgiven
when the pounds burn away all is forgiven when the night turn to day so all is forgiven
don't stop the rain from pouring down let it wash the pain where it can't be found
and the rain comes and goes and all is forgiven can we learn to let go so all is forgiven
when the pounds burn away all is forgiven when the night turn to day so all is forgiven
oh... all if forgiven
