On September 13, 2009, at the MTV Video Music Awards, Lil Mama came onstage during Jay-Z and Alicia Keys's performance of "Empire State of Mind". And while Jay-Z was ending his final verse, Lil Mama came from her seat in the crowd onto the stage and started bobbing her head to the beat. Jay-Z was surprised but continued to perform. Jay-Z patted Lil Mama on the leg to fall back and threw in a quick joke, saying, "You T-Paining right now," a reference to a similar incident at Summer Jam two months earlier when T-Pain jumped onstage with Jay-Z at Summer Jam during his performance of "D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)". At the end of the performance, Lil Mama came to the front and posed alongside Jay-Z and Keys.
So confused baby I don't know what to say
And never thought that I'd be here
All the love I gave you threw it all away
Now I'm stuck here with these tears all alone oh
My heart is beating but it's torn on two
Deep in this cool mood all I know it's you
Now that you're gone I'm tryna make it through
Tryna put myself together but the clue was you
I'm so broken
Tried to put the pieces back
But baby, my heart is open
That your love won't come back to me
Cause you got me open
Your heart and I'm hoping
Can't believe I'm alone now
You didn't so broken
You broke me, I'm broken
Just like I'm shot and tearing on the floor
I'm broken
Not replacing my reflection any more
So broken and I'm hurting
I know if I love again
Too bad I'm just broken
Tell me what I gotta do to work this out
Not the same without you
My world's in pieces now
My heals can't heal if I'm not touching you
My ears can't hear a voice that isn't you
Can't need or what I do
Exact only got ask of you
And I can't close and defind sleeping right next to you
You got me stuck you two
My knees too weak for you
I wanna love again but I just can't get over you
I'm so broken
Tried to put the pieces back
But baby, my heart is open
That your love won't come back to me
Cause you got me open
Your heart and I'm hoping
Can't believe I'm alone now
You didn't so broken
You broke me, I'm broken
Just like I'm shot and tearing on the floor
I'm broken
Not replacing my reflection any more
So broken and I'm hurting
I know if I love again
Too bad I'm just broken
Just let the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle unclue
And so in a different ways
Cause when you lose someone you gotta have time to move
I thought it was just a phase
I'm realised in the sacrifies I made for you
Gave every part of me thinking that you know what to do
I played ya fool and lost myself in you
Now I'm so stuck in this mirror
Trying to find me
I'm so broken
Tried to put the pieces back
But baby, my heart is open
That your love won't come back to me
Cause you got me open
Your heart and I'm hoping
Can't believe I'm alone now
You didn't so broken
You broke me, I'm broken
Just like I'm shot and tearing on the floor
I'm broken
Not replacing my reflection any more
So broken and I'm hurting
I know if I love again
