ROLL BALL INTRODUCTION Baseball is to AMERICA what cricket is to ENGLAND . Different kind of games flourish in a country depending upon the culture; climatic condition , available resources and sophisticated equipment. National Sports Organization and individual Organizers, on there part, play an important role. India . for example, is taking great efforts on flourish Kho-kho and kabaddi on the international arena. India is very much hopeful that, one day, these sports will not only be played in Asian Game but will also be a major event in the Olympics. There is some sort of similarity apparent in most of the games Example Cricket-Soft Ball, Base Ball: Hockey- football: Volley Ball-Netball, Sepak Takraw Wrestling-judo: Boxing-Karate, And Other Martial Arts: Lawn Tennis-Badminton, Table Tennis Etc. All these games are played at the international level.In all these games not only does size of the playground vary,but also the type of ground.For Example:mud,concrete,turf,mat,wooden flooring,etc.The equipment also varies such as diffrent types of Racquets,Balls,Sticks,etc.The attire too is diffrent for diffrent games.Though the equipment needed for two diffrent games may be the same,thier size,weight and shape may vary.The National Sports Body isalways on the lookout for reputed Organizers.Multinational sponsors to promote these games,nationally as well as at international level. There are some common ingredients in all these games:(a)expertise,(b)honor and recognition,(c)benefitsderived by the individual playerin terms of mental setisfaction,financial gains and physical fitness.It is always endurance,skills,perseverance physical fitness,mental strength and concentration that are putto test in all these games.Victories at national and international level tournaments of diffrent games give that state and nation a new sense of pride. The history of such events is well recorded.Most of these games are inventedsome decades or centuries ago.Due to their popularity they have gain international recognition.Now they are being played almost all over the world.Most of them areeither included in the Olympics or in regularly.
