Flying Finnair's new Airbus A350-900 on one of the crew familiarization flights from Helsinki to Hamburg. OH-LWA is Finnair's first A350, delivered on 07 October 2015. The video was shot on 11 October 2015, just 4 days after delivery on the 7th commercial flight of this specific airframe.
This flight - AY 851 - was also the first time ever an Airbus A350 visited Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel (HAM/EDDH) airport.
The video gives you an impression of the inflight experience on both Finnair and the new Airbus A350XWB aircraft.

The Airbus A350 XWB is a family of long-range, twin-engine wide-body jet airliners developed by European aircraft manufacturer Airbus. The A350 is the first Airbus with both fuselage and wing structures made primarily of carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer. Its variants seat 276 to 369 passengers in typical two-class seating layouts. The A350 is positioned as a successor to the A330 and A340, competing with Boeing's 787 and 777 series. The A350 was originally conceived in 2004 with new aerodynamics and engines while having a fuselage based on the A330. This was rejected by some prospective customers. In 2006, Airbus redesigned the aircraft and renamed it the A350 XWB (extra wide body). The launch customer for the A350 is Qatar Airways, which ordered 80 aircraft of all three variants. Development costs are projected to be €12 billion (US$15 billion or £10 billion). As of December 2013, Airbus had received orders for 812 aircraft from 39 customers around the globe. The prototype A350 first flew on 14 June 2013 from Toulouse, France. The A350 received type certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency in September 2014 and certification from the FAA two months later. The A350 entered service with Qatar Airways on 15 January 2015 with flight QR67 to Frankfurt – only about one month bevor this video has been taken.

Currently the Paris Air Show is the place to be if you are interested in Aviation. Have a look at the stunning performance of the Airbus A350 which is looking great in this paint sheme. It` s always a pleasure to see a near vertical take-off with a following Air Show. Still can` t believe that these hugh aircraft can fly nearly like a fighter when they are empty. Amazing!

Singapore Airlines Airbus A350 inflight experience, on one of the first revenue flights on this aircraft, from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore as flight SQ107.
Prior to its official inaugural flight to Amsterdam, the A350 is being deployed on intra-Asian routes for crew familiarization and training. I was able to catch A350 on its 4th operating flight and have a preview of what this next-generation aircraft - described by Singapore Airlines chief executive officer Goh Choon Phong as a "game changer" - offers.
In addition to Amsterdam, The Singapore Airlines A350 will be used to launch non-stop flights to Düsseldorf and to restart non-stop flights to the United States.

Airbus made available its first A350 XWB interior this week, and we thought you'd like a chance to compare it with the interior of Boeing's 787 Dreamliner.
The two are more similar than different, with both featuring high ceilings and multicolored LED lighting to give a sense of space, and large stowage bins for passengers' carry-on bags.
Both fuselages are built from composites, allowing higher humidity levels and higher interior air pressure at altitude, which increases passenger comfort.
The Airbus interior is arguably a shade more conservative, because it offers neither the extra-large windows nor the distinctive elevated ceiling of the Dreamliner's "foyer," where passengers enter.
The Airbus is a slightly larger aircraft, hence the "XWB" after the name, standing for "extra wide body." But actually the Airbus interior, 221 inches across, is only 5 inches wider than the Boeing aircraft.
We compared three views side-by-side — window perspective, business class, economy class — in the photos with this piece. We also included a photo of the 787 foyer. Of course the colors, seats and layouts used by customer airlines make a huge difference, so these aren't a straight-across comparison.

Passenger response weighs significantly in airlines' order decisions, although of course it's only one factor.
So far Boeing's 1,031 total orders for 787s remain significantly ahead of the 812 orders for the Airbus A350, partly because the Boeing aircraft had a several-year lead time.

The first A350 landing at MIA just before the sun climbed up over the horizon! TAM is the first airline to operate “The Raccoon” at Miami! Compare the sound of the Argentina A330’s PW4000 engines to the brand new Trent XWB engines! The A330 was gliding in at a low power setting, but the A350 used a bit more thrust. The two are more similar than different, with both featuring high ceilings and multicolored LED lighting to give a sense of space, and large stowage bins for passengers' carry-on bags.
Both fuselages are built from composites, allowing higher humidity levels and higher interior air pressure at altitude, which increases passenger comfort.
The Airbus interior is arguably a shade more conservative, because it offers neither the extra-large windows nor the distinctive elevated ceiling of the Dreamliner's "foyer," where passengers enter.
The Airbus is a slightly larger aircraft, hence the "XWB" after the name, standing for "extra wide body." But actually the Airbus interior, 221 inches across, is only 5 inches wider than the Boeing aircraft.
We compared three views side-by-side — window perspective, business class, economy class — in the photos with this piece. We also included a photo of the 787 foyer. Of course the colors, seats and layouts used by customer airlines make a huge difference, so these aren't a straight-across comparison.
