Kaimukī is a residential neighborhood in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States.
In the 19th century the area was a farm of King Kalākaua, where ostriches roamed wild over the mountain side. It later became the site of a carnation farm for funeral flowers. Now a mix of residential area with a small business district (mainly restaurants and service industries), it is located in the urbanized Honolulu region near Kahala and Diamond Head.
Kaimukī is an ancient Hawaiian name. Its name comes from Ka imu kī meaning "The ti root oven" in the Hawaiian language. The area was known for the many ovens used to bake kī Cordyline fruticosa, or ti roots, into a sweet food similar to candy.
Kaimukī's main street is Waialae Avenue, pronounced Wai-ah-lai. Several restaurants and stores are located on this street, as well as Kaimukī District Park.
The neighborhood of Kaimukī is home to historic buildings. The Kaimuki Fire Station, designed in the Spanish Mission Style by G.R. Miller, was built in 1924 and is still used as a station today. The Queen Theater, designed by Lyman Bigelow, opened in 1936 but closed in 1985.
A high school (also secondary school, senior school, secondary college) is a school that provides adolescents with part or all of their secondary education. It may come after primary school or middle school and be followed by higher education or vocational training.
The term "high school" originated in Scotland, with the world's oldest high school being Edinburgh's Royal High School from 1505. The Royal High School was used as a model for the first public high school in the United States, Boston Latin School founded in Boston, Massachusetts.
The precise stage of schooling provided by a high school differs from country to country, and may vary within the same jurisdiction. In all of New Zealand and Malaysia, along with most of Britain and parts of Australia, Bangladesh and Canada, high school means the same thing as secondary school, but instead of starting in 9th grade, these "secondary schools" begin at ages 11 or 12.
In Australia, high school is a secondary school, from Year 7 or Year 8 through to Year 12, varying from state to state. High school immediately follows primary (elementary) school; therefore, a Year-7 Australian high-school student is sometimes as young as 12. In Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory, the term "high school" generally refers to Years 7–10, whereas the term "College" is used for Years 11–12. In Victoria the term "secondary college" has largely replaced the term "high school" following the reforms of the Labor Government in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Some schools have retained the name "high school" (such as Melbourne High School) and many have now dropped the "secondary" and are simply known as "college".
Few consider Kaimuki to be a suburb and more of an extension of the city.

We took a quick trip to Honolulu. Sat in the sun, swam in the warm water, ate great food, and generally chilled. A short get-away that felt a lot longer than it actually was. A number of people have asked about the details, so I’ve included them here (note: unsponsored). We stayed in two different hotels, four nights total, both within a short walk of Waikiki beach. Can’t wait to go back. ----- My site: http://www.101cookbooks.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/heidijswanson/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/101cookbooks Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/heidiswanson/ About me: http://www.heidiswanson.com ----- Hotels: We picked two just to switch things up a bit... - Parc Waikiki: Across the street from Waikiki Beach - Surfjack: Five minute walk from beach (and a shor...

Also the standard pho is very good that I cant explain the taste using enough words. Anyway, all food is nice. The price, taste and a service is good. http://twitter.com/chrispirillo - http://www.hawaii-aloha.com - People always say that Hawaii is best known and loved for the gorgeous scenery and weather. I have to disagree. My favorite thing about the Islands is the food. Brucetook me to a "hole-in-the-wall" (for lack of a better word) restaurant recently. It was hands-down the best food I've eaten in a very long time. I had to ask Bruce to share with us the best places to eat in Hawaii, and where to find the best food. http://twitter.com/alohabruce - http://chris.pirillo.com

All i need is somebody to touch me and hold me again
wanna feel like i did when i lay in your arms, oh yeah
i say you left me alone and i just cannot take it, i hate
all i need is somebody to hold me...
Somebody, somebody to touch me and hold me,
somebody, somebody to love me and kiss me.
All i need is devotion and one strong emotion again
gonna find me a friend and he'll help me to mend, oh yeah
i say i'm missing your love and i just can't deny it, i

all i need is somebody to hold me...
Somebody, somebody to touch me and hold me,
somebody, somebody to love me and kiss me.
Somebody, somebody to heed me and need me,
