Dad films heartbreaking cries of 8-year-old boy being told mum died from heroin overdose
Brenden Bickerstaff-Clark received mixed comments online for sharing the footage on Facebook as a stark warning to other addicts with children
This is the heartbreaking moment a father told his eight-year-old son his mum had died of a heroin overdose saying: "Mummy died last night."
The little boy breaks into uncontrollable tears as he wails "what?" and "how?" at his devastated father Brenden Bickerstaff-Clark.
He clutches hold of his crying boy as he collapses onto a table, murmuring: "Sorry."
Brenden received mixed comments online after sharing the footage on Facebook as a stark warning to other addicts with children.
He wrote: “This is for any and every addict with children.
“Today I had to tell my 8-year-old son that his mommy died from a drug overdose last night.
“This is the realization and reality of our disease.
“Don't let this disease have to make someone tell your child that you're dead because of drugs.
“This was one of the hardest thing I've ever had to do.

“My son has no mother because of heroin.. kinda hard to hear but you can hear what we're saying.

“Please share and maybe help save a child's parents life.”
The clip has been viewed 23million times and received 76,000 comments since it was posted yesterday morning.

The footage received a mixed reaction as some people supported the dad, while others shared their anger that he videoed the intimate moment.
Leslie Redway wrote: "Please continue staying strong for your son.
"That was one of the saddest most heartbreaking things I've ever seen. He can't lose both of you to this disease. Please stay strong for him."
But Airlie Ernst wrote: "This cant be real surely? Y the f*** would you tell him in a public place? Have a heart...worse yet u put it on the internet. Idiot (sic)."
The footage was posted just days after two children filmed their "zombie" parents overdosing on heroin.

The shocked children streamed the footage live on Facebook as they tried to wake them.
The distressing images show the boy and girl shouting at them to get up as they lie slumped in front of the television.
But the children can even be heard giggling at the scene - suggesting it is not the first time they have encountered their parents in this state .
Another heroin overdose was streamed through Facebook Live from Memphis just days before.
A husband and wife had both collapsed on the pavement after snorting heroin at a nearby Walgreens in Memphis, police told American publication WREG.
The man was laying contorted backwards over a metal seat and a woman was seen laying face down with her legs folded when people began crowding around them.

But instead of stopping to help the pair, or raise the alarm, a number of passers-by decided to film the incident on their phones.
One of them, Courtland Garner, posted a Facebook Live video on Monday, showing people standing around the couple staring and commenting.
The pair were eventually rushed to hospital and revived after a passing motorist called 911.
The woman, Carla Hiers, was later arrested on an outstanding warrant.

The footage received a mixed reaction as some people supported the dad, while others shared their anger that he videoed the intimate moment.
Leslie Redway wrote: "Please continue staying strong for your son.
"That was one of the saddest most heartbreaking things I've ever seen. He can't lose both of you to this disease. Please stay strong for him."
But Airlie Ernst wrote: "This cant be real surely? Y the f*** would you tell him in a public place? Have a heart...worse yet u put it on the internet. Idiot (sic)."
The footage was posted just days after two children filmed their "zombie" parents overdosing on heroin.

The shocked children streamed the footage live on Facebook as they tried to wake them.
The distressing images show the boy and girl shouting at them to get up as they lie slumped in front of the television.
But the children can even be heard giggling at the scene - suggesting it is not the first time they have encountered their parents in this state .
Another heroin overdose was streamed through Facebook Live from Memphis just days before.
A husband and wife had both collapsed on the pavement after snorting heroin at a nearby Walgreens in Memphis, police told American publication WREG.
The man was laying contorted backwards over a metal seat and a woman was seen laying face down with her legs folded when people began crowding around them.

But instead of stopping to help the pair, or raise the alarm, a number of passers-by decided to film the incident on their phones.
One of them, Courtland Garner, posted a Facebook Live video on Monday, showing people standing around the couple staring and commenting.
The pair were eventually rushed to hospital and revived after a passing motorist called 911.
The woman, Carla Hiers, was later arrested on an outstanding warrant.

The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) has identified a large dark patch in the robot's targeted landing zone consistent with a high-velocity impact.
