Welcome to
Entertainment Management at AIM. This music degree course caters for business careers in the music & entertainment industry.
The Entertainment Management teaching staff are made up of active and successful music industry and entertainment management specialists with extensive national and international experience. They are highly respected individuals who are passionate about developing talented industry professionals.
There are two degrees available in this area
1.
Bachelor of Entertainment Management
- a pure entertainment business degree
2.
Bachelor of Music (Arts Management)
- music business AND musical instrument studies
This degree prepares students for a career in the music and entertainment industry, combining an excellent business management education with a creative focus.
The Bachelor of Entertainment Management degree meets the demands of today's fast-paced and ever-evolving entertainment industry, examining both the artistic and the commercial sides of the business, as well as exploring the dynamic between the two. The degree has a strong focus on the commercial music industry, but also considers the not-for-profit sector.

economics and finance in the entertainment industry
artist management
tour management
This degree course examines the structure and practices of the industry, the skills required to operate within it, and the ever-changing opportunities for artistic and commercial success.
Internship Opportunity
Bachelor of Entertainment Management students complete two internship units in the final two trimesters of the degree. The structure of the degree ensures that students go into their internships equipped with substantial knowledge and practical skills, that enable them to take on challenging internships and significantly contribute to their host organisation's productivity.
The quality of AIM's interns has resulted in offers of work as a consequence of their internship.
