The Alaknanda is a Himalayan river in the Indian state of Uttarakhand and one of the two headstreams of the Ganga, the major river of Northern India and the holy river of Hinduism. In hydrology, the Alaknanda is considered the source stream of the Ganges on account of its greater length and discharge; however, in Hindu mythology and culture, the other headstream, the Bhagirathi, is considered the source stream.
The Alaknanda is considered to rise at the confluence and foot of the Satopanth and Bhagirath Kharak glaciers in Uttarakhand, though the Saraswati River tributary flowing from Mana Pass is longer; the two meet at Mana, India, 21 km from Tibet. Three km below Mana the Alaknanda flows past the Hindu pilgrimage centre of Badrinath. It meets the Bhagirathi River at Devprayag after flowing for approximately 190 km (118.1 mi) through the Alaknanda valley. Its main tributaries are the Mandakini, Nandakini, and Pindar rivers. The Alaknanda system drains parts of Chamoli, Tehri, and Pauri districts.
An income tax is a government levy (tax) imposed on individuals or entities (taxpayers) that varies with the income or profits (taxable income) of the taxpayer. Details vary widely by jurisdiction. Many jurisdictions refer to income tax on business entities as companies tax or corporate tax. Partnerships generally are not taxed; rather, the partners are taxed on their share of partnership items. Tax may be imposed by both a country and subdivisions. Most jurisdictions exempt locally organized charitable organizations from tax.
Income tax generally is computed as the product of a tax rate times taxable income. The tax rate may increase as taxable income increases (referred to as graduated rates). Tax rates may vary by type or characteristics of the taxpayer. Capital gains may be taxed at different rates than other income. Credits of various sorts may be allowed that reduce tax. Some jurisdictions impose the higher of an income tax or a tax on an alternative base or measure of income.

The ferocious Bhagirathi river at the point of meeting Alaknanda river to become Ganges. A majestic sight. The video was shot after a 325 Km bike ride from Delhi to Devprayag. The ancient, 10,000-years-old small town of Devprayag is the point where River Ganga, as we know it, takes shape. It is also the place with an ancient Shri Ram temple. The road to Devprayag is well-built and slightly dangerous. The town has a more than a couple of cheap hotels. The city is more of a stoppage for pilgrims heading to Badrinath and Kedarnath. You would be lucky, if you get to see some showers. Be sure to get hold of the local boy cum guide who will give you a rare insight in town's history and importance in Hindu mythology. Just after Byasi a stopover at the nimbu-paani market is just the righ...

Y me perdi, y me perdi
Sigue vivo tu recuerdo
Me hace daños si te pienso
Estoy triste, pero estoy de pie
Aunque me hayas olvidado
me vas a extrañar despacio
Aunque me hayas olvidado
Me vas a extrañar despacio
Te vas a extrañar despacio
