Siva (director)
Siva (born Sivakumar Jayakumar) is an Indian cinematographer-turned-filmmaker.
Career
Siva Kumar was born to documentary photographer Jayakumar in Chennai; his mother tongue is Tamil. Although he always wanted to become a filmmaker, he pursued photography. In 1998, Siva became a gold medalist from Adyar Film Institute. He went on to work with cinematographer Jayanan Vincent. Siva then came to Hyderabad to work for Venkatesh' film Jayam Manade Raa (2000) as an operative cameraman. In 2002, he became an independent cinematographer, shortly after his brother Bala, made his acting debut. He has shot for about 15 films since then.
In 2008, he narrated a script to actor Gopichand who agree to play the lead role.Souryam, co-starring Gopichand along with Anushka Shetty was Siva's directorial debut. The following year, Siva made his second film, again with Gopichand in the lead. In 2011, Siva made his debut as a director in Tamil cinema with Siruthai, a remake of S. S. Rajamouli's Telugu action masala Vikramarkudu. The film, featuring Karthi in the starring role, went on to become a high commercial success, which led to him being referred to as "Siruthai" Siva in Tamil cinema from then on. His fourth directorial, Daruvu, released in May 2012.
Živa (goddess)
Živa, also Żiwia, Siva, Sieba or Razivia, was the Slavic goddess of life and fertility. She was worshipped throughout what is now Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Germany (and especially the Elbe (Labe) river valley), before Christianity expanded into the area. Her name means "living, being, existing". Živa is mentioned in The Baptism on the Savica, an epic-lyric poem by the Slovene national poet France Prešeren.

Opinabantur enim supremum hunc universi moderayorem transfi gurari in cuculum, ut ipsis annuntiaret vitae tempora: unde crimini ducedator capitalique poena a magistratibus affi ciebatur qui cuculum occidisset".
Siva (1989 Tamil film)
Siva is a 1989 Tamil film directed by Ameerjan. The film features Rajinikanth, Raghuvaran, Sowcar Janaki and Shobana in lead roles. The film is a remake of the 1977 film Khoon Pasina, which starred Amitabh Bachchan. The film was dubbed in Telugu as Tiger Shiva in spite of N.T. Rama Rao's 1977 Telugu version Tiger, with Rajinikanth also starring in that film but playing Raghuvaran's role.
Plot
Rajinikanth and Raghuvaran are close friends like their fathers, in spite of their difference in caste Hindu and Christian. But a villain kills family except Rajinikanth, Raghuvaran and Raghuvaran's mother, one twist is Raghuvaran does not knows that Rajinikanth and his mother was alive and vice versa. Years run, film opens after 20 years. Rajinikanth falls in love with Shobana. He marries her. Then Raghuvaran is a hired goon will do only good deeds. Raghuvaran is hired to kill Rajinikanth and during the fight both get injured and finally they come to know that they are childhood friends. Finally, both of them unite and fight the bad guy who killed their family.
Mind (charity)
Mind is a mental health charity in England and Wales. Founded in 1946 as the National Association for Mental Health (NAMH), it celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2006.
Mind offers information and advice to people with mental health problems and lobbies government and local authorities on their behalf. It also works to raise public awareness and understanding of issues relating to mental health. Since 1982, it has awarded an annual prize for "Book of the Year" having to do with mental health, in addition to three other prizes
Over 180 local Mind associations (independent, affiliated charities) provide services such as supported housing, floating support schemes, care homes, drop-in centres and self-help support groups. Local Mind associations are often very different in size, make up and character—it is a common misconception that they all work to the same policy and procedural framework. Mind is a national brand but all local associations are unique, although they do all sign up to certain shared aims and ethical guidelines.

"Mind" was a single by Liverpool-based pop group The Farm, released as the first single off their second album Love See No Colour. It was released on 12 August 1991, having been produced by Graham "Suggs" McPherson of Madness. The single peaked at #31 on the UK Singles Chart.

In Iain M. Banks' Culture series, most larger starships, some inhabited planets and all orbitals have their own Minds: sentient, hyperintelligent machines originally built by biological species, which have evolved, redesigned themselves, and become many times more intelligent than their original creators.
These Minds have become an indispensable part of the Culture, enabling much of its post-scarcity amenities by planning and automating society (controlling day-to-day administration with mere fractions of their mental power). The main feature of these Minds—in comparison to extremely powerful artificial intelligences in other fiction—is that the Minds are (by design and by extension of their rational, but "humanistic" thought processes) generally a very benevolent presence, and show no wish to supplant or dominate their erstwhile creators. Though this is commonly viewed in a utopian light, a view where the human members of the Culture amount to little more than pets is not unsupportable.
