The News of the World was a national red top newspaper published in the United Kingdom from 1843 to 2011. It was at one time the biggest selling English language newspaper in the world, and at closure still had one of the highest English language circulations. Originally established as a broadsheet by John Browne Bell, the Bells sold to Lascelles Carr in 1891; in 1969 it was bought from the Carrs by Rupert Murdoch's media firm News Limited. Reorganised into News International, itself a subsidiary of News Corporation, it was transformed into a tabloid in 1984. News of the World was the Sunday sister paper of The Sun. The newspaper concentrated on celebrity-based scoops and populist news. Its fondness for sex scandals gained it the nicknames News of the Screws and Screws of the World. It had a reputation for exposing national or local celebrities as drug users, sexual peccadilloes, or criminals, setting up insiders and journalists in disguise to provide either video or photographic evidence, and phone hacking in ongoing police investigations. Sales averaged 2,812,005 copies per week in October 2010.
The Daily Telegraph is a daily morning broadsheet conservative-leaning newspaper distributed throughout the United Kingdom and internationally. The newspaper was founded by Arthur B. Sleigh in June 1855 as The Daily Telegraph and Courier, and since 2004 is owned by David and Frederick Barclay.
According to a MORI survey conducted in 2005, 64% of Telegraph readers intended to support the Conservative Party in the coming elections. It had an average daily circulation of 634,113 in July 2011 (compared to 441,205 for The Times).
It is the sister paper of The Sunday Telegraph. It is run separately with a different editorial staff, but there is some cross-usage of stories.
The Daily Telegraph and Courier was founded by Colonel Arthur B. Sleigh in June 1855 to air a personal grievance against the future Commander-in-chief of the British Army, Prince George, Duke of Cambridge.Joseph Moses Levy, the owner of The Sunday Times, agreed to print the newspaper, and the first edition was published on 29 June 1855. The paper cost 2d and was four pages long. It was not a success, however, and Sleigh was unable to pay Levy the printing bill. Levy took over the newspaper, his aim being to produce a cheaper newspaper than his main competitors in London, the Daily News and The Morning Post, to expand the size of the overall market.[citation needed]
Alan Gordon Partridge OBE (Honour Removed) is a fictional radio and television presenter portrayed by English comedian Steve Coogan and invented by Coogan, Armando Iannucci, Stewart Lee and Richard Herring for the BBC Radio 4 programme On The Hour. A parody of both sports commentators and chat show presenters, among others, the character has appeared in two radio series, three television series and numerous TV and radio specials, including appearances on BBC's Comic Relief, which have followed the rise and fall of his career.
Whereas many of his personality defects are apparent in his appearances in shows such as The Day Today and Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge, it is largely from I'm Alan Partridge onwards that his creators began to explore his personality in depth, and most of the observations that follow originated in that show.

From the age of 15 to 22, he was a competitive amateur bodybuilder, leading to the title of Junior Mr. Victoria. He also partook in fencing. He lived in Box Hill North, Victoria in the late 1980s while working on the Australian drama series Neighbours.

Suit Up
Rebecca Lynn grew up in Carolina,
Half a mile from Tucker Cherry's farm.
A quiet girl with green eyes full of fire,
Her daddy's pride and all her mama's charm.
Rebecca Lynn became my heart's desire,
Long about the start of second grade.
Mrs. Rosenbloom let me sit beside her,
So we pass notes and after school we play... Singin'
Ring around the rosie, pocket full of dreams and posies,
Patty cake, A Baker's Man, Tag you're it, Kick the Can.
And I think I hear my mama calling, gotta go,
Man I loved her so.
High school days, me and Becky learnin',
What it really means to be in love.
Give and take, holdin' back for heaven's sake
And fightin' for a week, then makin' up.
I said "Please, Becky, won't you marry me?"
Prom night in my car out by the curb.
She was so surprised, first she laughed and then she cried
And somewhere in my heart I'm sure I heard
Ring around the rosie, pocket full of dreams and posies,
Patty cake, A Baker's Man, Tag you're it, Kick the Can.
Mama flashed the porch light for me, gotta go,
Man I loved her so.
When love is wrong, it dies, and that's the way it goes.
But when it's right, Your love grows.
Laura Jean was born in Tennessee,
That's a common little miracle, I know.
But for me and Becky Lynn, she's the dream that started when,
We fell in love so many years ago... Singin'
Ring around the rosie, pocket full of dreams and posies,
Patty cake, A Baker's Man, Tag you're it, Kick the Can.
And I think I hear you're mama callin', gotta go
