Résumé : Marion, photographe d'origine française, vit à New York avec Jack, architecte d'intérieur. Pour donner un nouveau souffle à leur relation, ils partent en voyage à Venise - mais leur séjour est gâché lorsque Jack attrape une gastro-entérite... Ils décident alors de se rendre à Paris où Marion a toujours des attaches. Là encore, l'escapade amoureuse tourne court : entre les parents envahissants de la jeune femme, ses ex-petits copains dragueurs et la manie de Jack à prendre en photo la moindre pierre tombale, le couple ne trouve aucun répit ! Film Description: Ingenue Julie Delpy does triple duty as writer, director, and star of this romantic comedy. French photographer Marion (Delpy) and American interior designer Jack (Adam Goldberg) are returning from a vacation in Venice. Despite the fact that it was supposed to be the ultimate romantic getaway, disagreements and misunderstandings seemed to drive them farther apart rather than bringing them closer together. Before they return to the United States, Marion and Jack have a quick two-day stop in Paris to visit Marion's parents and pick up the cat that they had been pet-setting for their daughter. Unfortunately for Jack, Paris proves to be quite a culture shock. Not only are Marion's parents a pair of eccentric former "revolutionaries" who make no qualms about having knock-down-drag-out arguments regardless of who's present, but they also appear to have a particular distaste for Americans. Add to this the fact that Marion's friends hold nothing back when it comes to discussing their sexual lives, seem fixated on food rituals, and that Marion seems to run into former lovers on every street corner, and Jack quickly begins to suspect that he doesn't know his girlfriend half as well as he thought he did when they were living the simple life back in New York. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Sentier
Sentier is a neighbourhood in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris which has been known historically as a multicultural textile and garment manufacturing district. Since the late 1990s, it has increasingly become home to many Internet start-up companies and has acquired the nickname Silicon Sentier.
Geography
The area is a rectangle of buildings bounded by rue Montmartre to the west, the Boulevard de Sebastopol to the east, Boulevard Poissonnière and Boulevard Bonne-Nouvelle to the north and by rue Reaumur in the south.
It is crossed by several roads including rue d'Aboukir, rue de Caire and Place du Caire.

Because of its proximity to the former Paris stock exchange building (the Palais Brongniart), the AFP and many financial companies, several operators have deployed high-speed fibre optic networks in the area.

Julie Delpy
Julie Delpy (French: [ʒyli dɛlpi]; born 21 December 1969) is a French-American actress, film director, screenwriter, and singer-songwriter. She studied filmmaking at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and has directed, written, or acted in more than 30 films, including Europa Europa (1990), Voyager (1991), Three Colors: White (1993), Before Sunrise (1995), An American Werewolf in Paris (1997), Before Sunset (2004), 2 Days in Paris (2007), and Before Midnight (2013). She has been nominated for three César Awards, two Online Film Critics Society Awards, and two Academy Awards. After moving to the United States in 1990, she became an American citizen in 2001.
Early life
Julie Delpy was born in Paris to Albert Delpy, a theater director, and Marie Pillet, an actress in feature films and the avant-garde theater. She is an only child. On the stages of Paris, Delpy's parents were involved in underground theatre. At an early age, Julie was exposed to the arts.
Delpy has said she has been plagued by health problems since childhood and had to wear callipers at age eight. She also occasionally experiences migraines and panic attacks.

Adam Goldberg
Adam Charles Goldberg (born October 25, 1970) is an American actor, director, producer, and musician.
Personal life
Goldberg was born in Santa Monica, California, the son of Donna (née Goebel) and Earl Goldberg, a former lifeguard who ran a wholesale food business. His father is Jewish; his mother is a non-practicing Roman Catholic, of Mexican, Irish, French, and German descent. He lives in Los Angeles with his dog, Digger.
In December 2014, Goldberg and his girlfriend, artist and designer Roxanne Daner had a son named Bud.
Career
Goldberg's first major screen role was in the Billy Crystal film Mr. Saturday Night (1992). In 1995 he appeared in his later-signature wise-cracking role as a delivery boy in the television comedy Double Rush. His career-making role was arguably that of the tough, wise-cracking infantryman Mellish in Steven Spielberg's 1998 film Saving Private Ryan. While having played multiple lead characters, as in the short-lived 2005 Fox series Head Cases and The Hebrew Hammer, Goldberg has mostly been cast in supporting roles.

Film Description: Ingenue Julie Delpy does triple duty as writer, director, and star of this romantic comedy. French photographer Marion (Delpy) and American interior designer Jack (Adam Goldberg) are returning from a vacation in Venice. Despite the fact that it was supposed to be the ultimate romantic getaway, disagreements and misunderstandings seemed to drive them farther apart rather than bringing them closer together. Before they return to the United States, Marion and Jack have a quick two-day stop in Paris to visit Marion's parents and pick up the cat that they had been pet-setting for their daughter. Unfortunately for Jack, Paris proves to be quite a culture shock. Not only are Marion's parents a pair of eccentric former "revolutionaries" who make no qualms about having knock-down-drag-out arguments regardless of who's present, but they also appear to have a particular distaste for Americans. Add to this the fact that Marion's friends hold nothing back when it comes to discussing their sexual lives, seem fixated on food rituals, and that Marion seems to run into former lovers on every street corner, and Jack quickly begins to suspect that he doesn't know his girlfriend half as well as he thought he did when they were living the simple life back in New York. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
