This is my own personal HD updated version of the
November 25,
1979 Santa Barbara County Bowl concert. This version is from the
PAL region DVD version that has all of the songs including bonus footage of
Bob Marley & the Wailers performing War/
No More Trouble! This may very well be the definitive version of this incredible concert ever posted on YouTube!
Anyone who has gotten the pleasure of knowing me over the years knows that I am a huge
Bob Marley fan and I rank him above all of my greatest idols such as
Isaac Asimov,
Bruce Lee, and
Levon Helm. His massage of universal
peace, black man redemption, and the defeat of systematic evil of all things is a dream that I carry deep down in my soul. One of the more memorable things about this video is the cool dude in the front completely taken over by the music and is in a visual orgasmic hypnotic trance.
Stanley Goldstein is the dudes name and a link about who he was then and is now can be found clicking on these two links below!,

Crazy Baldhead (In my opinion this is the greatest version of this live mixing of the two songs in this order. During the
1977 Exodus Tour, both songs were performed in switch order together. That version that was captured live and can be seen on the
VHS/DVD/BluRay editions of the historical 1977 Exodus Tour
Rainbow Theater Performances is probably hands down the greatest of all performances in the grouping of these two iconic songs! That version also be heard on the deluxe edition of
The Exodus Album.
Video of the performance can be found here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k34boxNrqL8 )

Killer bass line towards the end of the performance and unfortunately
American guitarist
Al Anderson's guitar was somehow unplugged from his amp but luckily a stage hand who looks a lot like
Ronnie Wood plugs it back in. Overall probably one of my most favorite live versions of this incredible rock song!

1975 Bob Marley & the Wailers
Live album version of this song! It was record at
The Lyceum in
London and it is to this day the single greatest live performance of protests chants an early almost prophetic sound of
HIP HOP!
