Agosto Beinte-Uno (August Twenty-One) is an investigative documentary on the murder of Filipino political figure Benigno Aquino. This event paved the way for the first People Power, the downfall of the Marcos administration and the first woman president of the Philippines (his wife).
The color of the Aquino party is yellow, and that's the reason we used it in our palette for the program. Since the approach of the program is based on forensic evidence, we acquired copies of important documents related to the event, and used that as the main materials for the show open.

Forensic Files
Forensic Files is an American documentary-style series that reveals how forensic science is used to solve violent crimes, mysterious accidents, and even outbreaks of illness. The show was originally broadcast on TLC, narrated by Peter Thomas, and produced by Medstar Television, in association with truTV Original Productions. It broadcast 400 episodes since its debut on TLC in 1996 as Medical Detectives. Reruns shown on HLN were initially retitled Mystery Detectives before settling with the main title of the show in 2014.
A version of the series was broadcast on the British Channel Five, under the name Murder Detectives.
Production and broadcast history
The series began on the TLC Network in April 1996 as Medical Detectives. Old episodes of Medical Detectives now air on TruTV under the Forensic Files label. Overseas, the show airs under these two titles, and others, on various channels in over 100 countries. It is distributed by CABLEready.
Premiering just as the O. J. Simpson murder trial had focused attention on the world of DNA and forensics, Medical Detectives became a hit. It was one of the first of the popular forensic science shows. A few years later, Court TV acquired rights to broadcast the show and it quickly became the cornerstone of their primetime schedule, increasing its annual production run to 42 episodes. The show was retained after the network was renamed TruTV in 2008.

Shroud of Turin
The Shroud of Turin or Turin Shroud (Italian: Sindone di Torino) is a length of linen cloth bearing the image of a man that is believed by some Christians to be the burial shroud of Jesus of Nazareth. Three radiocarbon dating tests in 1988 have concluded that the age of the cloth only goes back to the Middle Ages. The shroud is kept in the royal chapel of the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in Turin, northern Italy.
The shroud is respected by many Christians of several traditions, including Catholics and Protestants. The Catholic Church has neither formally endorsed nor rejected the shroud, but in 1958 Pope Pius XII approved of the image in association with the devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus. More recently, Pope Francis and his predecessor Pope Benedict XVI have both described the Shroud of Turin as "an icon" and Pope John Paul II called the Shroud "a mirror of the Gospel".
The origins of the shroud and its images are the subject of intense debate among theologians, historians and researchers. Diverse arguments have been made in scientific and popular publications claiming to "prove" that the cloth is the authentic burial shroud of Jesus, based on disciplines ranging from chemistry to biology and medical forensics to optical image analysis. In 1988, a radiocarbon dating test dated the shroud from the Middle Ages, between the years 1260 and 1390, which is consistent with the shroud's first known exhibition in France in 1357. Aspects of the 1988 test continue to be debated, but all the various challenges to the dating result have been rejected by experts based on scientific analyses of shroud evidence.

West Memphis, Arkansas
West Memphis is the largest city in Crittenden County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 26,245 at the 2010 census, ranking it as the state's 18th largest city, behind Bella Vista. It is part of the Memphis metropolitan area, and is located directly across the Mississippi River from Memphis.
History
Pre-European habitation
Native Americans lived in the Mississippi River Valley for at least 10,000 years, although much of the evidence of their presence has been buried or destroyed. The Indians of the Mississippian Period were the last native inhabitants of the West Memphis area. Mound City Road, located within the eastern portion of the West Memphis city limits, has a marker indicating that the villages of Aquixo (Aquijo) or Pacaha were in the area. Several mounds are still visible.
European exploration and settlement
Explorers from both Spain and France visited the area near West Memphis. Among those explorers were Hernando de Soto and his men from Spain and Father Jacques Marquette and Louis Jolliet from France. By the time French hunters and explorers entered the region, the Mississippian towns and other settlements had been abandoned. The original site of West Memphis came from Spanish land grants issued during the 1790s. Grants were given to Benjamin Fooy, John Henry Fooy, and Isaac Fooy in the Hopefield (Crittenden County) area and to William McKenney in the Bridgeport-West Memphis area.

In this video-essay contemplative images, confessions, theoretical reflections, and an enigmatic electronic musical motif merge to form a meditation on border life between the United State & Mexico. Based on both years of ethnographic work in Tijuana and an ascetic shooting schedule of 24hrs, the artist and anthropologist refracts her own experience in the region by attempting to sculpt a textured living portrait of the Wall that separates Tijuana and San Diego. Images of a rusty wall, unruly topography, decaying surveillance structures, furtive moments of undocumented migrant crossings, and dystopian landscapes are interwoven with a mournful voice-over enunciated from a different time and place. The fate of the Wall is sealed: its remains are to be collected like forensic evidence by a visitor, perhaps another anthropologist and artist, perhaps another undocumented migrant, from the future. -

meditation on border life between the United State & Mexico. Based on
both years of ethnographic work in Tijuana and an ascetic shooting
schedule of 24hrs, the artist and anthropologist refracts her own
experience in the region by attempting to sculpt a textured living
portrait of the Wall that separates Tijuana and San Diego. Images of a
rusty wall, unruly topography, decaying surveillance structures,
furtive moments of undocumented migrant crossings, and dystopian
landscapes are interwoven with a mournful voice-over enunciated from a
different time and place. The fate of the Wall is sealed: its
remains are to be collected like forensic evidence by a visitor,
perhaps another anthropologist and artist, perhaps another
undocumented migrant, from the future.

The radiocarbon sampling area is uniquely coated with a yellow–brown plant gum containing dye lakes. Pyrolysis-mass-spectrometry results from the sample area coupled with microscopic and microchemical observations prove that the radiocarbon sample was not part of the original cloth of the Shroud of Turin. The radiocarbon date was thus not valid for determining the true age of the shroud. The fact that vanillin can not be detected in the lignin on shroud fibers, Dead Sea scrolls linen, and other very old linens indicates that the shroud is quite old. A determination of the kinetics of vanillin loss suggests that the shroud is between 1300- and 3000-years old. Even allowing for errors in the measurements and assumptions about storage conditions, the cloth is unlikely to be as young as 840 years.

Yes. You heard what I said. All of it. It's all a bunch of lies. I know that it is a shocking claim to many, that our trusted officials in concert with our reliable mass media actually participated in deliberate deception designed to get us to accept war, but deal with it. I'm making it.
Our biggest moral obligation is ensuring that wars are not waged against people under false pretenses. War is the most disgusting and horrible thing you can inflict on any person.
As you read this article I am sure you will find there are a number of things that will surprise you. After researching the situation for months I assure you I have investigated as many sides of the story as possible. But I did reach a clear conclusion and I will not shy away from openly expressing the views that I have formed during this process.
What we have been seeing recently in the media, this time with a special emphasis on the online community, is the most sophisticated propaganda firework display we have ever witnessed. It’s no surprise so many people have been duped.
But a lie can travel the world before the truth has tied it’s shoe laces. But I believe that once the laces have been tied and the truth starts walking, eventually it’s gonna get to people.
There are at least two sides to every story
None of us could possibly have avoided hearing NATO’s side of the story and the reasons and justifications given for Gaddafi’s removal and how military intervention is necessary to protect Libyan citizens.
But are you sure you’ve heard both sides? Have you heard Gaddafi’s perspective on this issue? Or have you just heard “his side” as represented by the mainstream western media? If so I can start by telling you that his words, and the words of his son, Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi have been deliberately misinterpreted and edited out of context to create simple soundbite propaganda to influence people.
You will find that there is a completely different side of this story that is being completely ignored. It is not even being debated for it's merits, it simply is not talked about at all in the mainstream media.
Think about it. How much do you really know about Libya? Did you in all honesty know anything about the country before these events started unfolding? If I would have asked you back in February 10 questions about Libya and it’s affairs, how many do you think you would have answered correctly? And how much do you honestly know about what is going on there now?
I often find it intriguing how people tend to think they are qualified to give their view on things that in reality they know next to nothing about. They might have vague ideas generated by the mainstream media, biased textbooks and general pre-conceived notions, but not an actual thorough understanding of the country and it’s people and customs.
I had a discussion with a guy at a local bar the other day and I began the conversation by asking if he could tell me on what continent Libya was. Neither he nor his friend could answer correctly, picking Europe and Asia as their educated guesses. For some reason this guy still felt that his take on the situation was more accurate than mine, even as I told him I had been spending weeks investigating the matter. For those of you confused the correct answer is Africa.
I want to ask a simple question to make a simple case? Can you name me one current Libyan government official? You’re not allowed to say Gaddafi. Who holds the position of “Secretary of the General People’s Assembly” a position comparable to that of prime minister, although with a slightly different emphasis as he does not represent a political party and does not alone hold significant power. Did you even know that such a position exists in Libya and that he is elected by the people?
The less you know about something, the easier it is to deceive you.
My intention for exposing your potential and likely ignorance on this subject is not an attempt to show that I’m smarter or better than you. As I found out myself researching this article I knew remarkably little about Libya. And that is my point.
The mainstream media is focusing entirely on a set of news stories that have the specific intention of gathering support for military action and actively suppressing any story that would lead to people opposing it. This pattern will be exposed clearly as this article progresses.
It’s no wonder we don’t know much about Libya. Of course it gets confusing with all the different stories we hear of dictators and tyrants oversees. It is difficult to be an expert on all nations in the world. Just consider how many nations have existed and how long and rich each of their history is and how complex and

Yes. You heard what I said. All of it. It's all a bunch of lies. I know that it is a shocking claim to many, that our trusted officials in concert with our reliable mass media actually participated in deliberate deception designed to get us to accept war, but deal with it. I'm making it.
Our biggest moral obligation is ensuring that wars are not waged against people under false pretenses. War is the most disgusting and horrible thing you can inflict on any person.
As you read this article I am sure you will find there are a number of things that will surprise you. After researching the situation for months I assure you I have investigated as many sides of the story as possible. But I did reach a clear conclusion and I will not shy away from openly expressing the views that I have formed during this process.
What we have been seeing recently in the media, this time with a special emphasis on the online community, is the most sophisticated propaganda firework display we have ever witnessed. It’s no surprise so many people have been duped.
But a lie can travel the world before the truth has tied it’s shoe laces. But I believe that once the laces have been tied and the truth starts walking, eventually it’s gonna get to people.
There are at least two sides to every story
None of us could possibly have avoided hearing NATO’s side of the story and the reasons and justifications given for Gaddafi’s removal and how military intervention is necessary to protect Libyan citizens.
But are you sure you’ve heard both sides? Have you heard Gaddafi’s perspective on this issue? Or have you just heard “his side” as represented by the mainstream western media? If so I can start by telling you that his words, and the words of his son, Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi have been deliberately misinterpreted and edited out of context to create simple soundbite propaganda to influence people.
You will find that there is a completely different side of this story that is being completely ignored. It is not even being debated for it's merits, it simply is not talked about at all in the mainstream media.
Think about it. How much do you really know about Libya? Did you in all honesty know anything about the country before these events started unfolding? If I would have asked you back in February 10 questions about Libya and it’s affairs, how many do you think you would have answered correctly? And how much do you honestly know about what is going on there now?
I often find it intriguing how people tend to think they are qualified to give their view on things that in reality they know next to nothing about. They might have vague ideas generated by the mainstream media, biased textbooks and general pre-conceived notions, but not an actual thorough understanding of the country and it’s people and customs.
I had a discussion with a guy at a local bar the other day and I began the conversation by asking if he could tell me on what continent Libya was. Neither he nor his friend could answer correctly, picking Europe and Asia as their educated guesses. For some reason this guy still felt that his take on the situation was more accurate than mine, even as I told him I had been spending weeks investigating the matter. For those of you confused the correct answer is Africa.
I want to ask a simple question to make a simple case? Can you name me one current Libyan government official? You’re not allowed to say Gaddafi. Who holds the position of “Secretary of the General People’s Assembly” a position comparable to that of prime minister, although with a slightly different emphasis as he does not represent a political party and does not alone hold significant power. Did you even know that such a position exists in Libya and that he is elected by the people?
The less you know about something, the easier it is to deceive you.
My intention for exposing your potential and likely ignorance on this subject is not an attempt to show that I’m smarter or better than you. As I found out myself researching this article I knew remarkably little about Libya. And that is my point.
The mainstream media is focusing entirely on a set of news stories that have the specific intention of gathering support for military action and actively suppressing any story that would lead to people opposing it. This pattern will be exposed clearly as this article progresses.
It’s no wonder we don’t know much about Libya. Of course it gets confusing with all the different stories we hear of dictators and tyrants oversees. It is difficult to be an expert on all nations in the world. Just consider how many nations have existed and how long and rich each of their history is and how complex and

No one's chromosomal DNA was found on the condom submitted as 'evidence' by Anna Ardin and Sofja Wilen refused to sign her statement when she discovered what Ardin and her policewoman friend Irmeli Krans were cooking up for Assange.
Even though the forensic exculpatory evidence has been available for well over two years, the British appeal process has excluded the details of the case as irrelevant, and Assange's defence has had to focus only on the legality of the European Arrest Warrant paperwork. Australian Diplomats continue to advise Julian to "Just go to Sweden" (and hopefully get it over with), while claiming no knowledge of a US Grand Jury, cables they received describing an investigation "unprecedented in scale and nature", and a sealed indictment that awaits only Asange's placement in custody - anywhere - to be opened.
So who is Australia helping? Ecuador would say they are helping those who continue to persecute Julian Assange. The Support Assange and Wikileaks Coalition went to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, on the second anniversary of detainment, to deliver DFAT's own documents, obtained through FOI requests. A Passageway to Pleasure: a Creative Re-Working of ‘Non-Place’ Using Film as a Virtual Organ of Consciousness
This film is concerned with non-place as a form of affective landscape. By the term ‘non-place’, as coined by French anthropologist Marc Auge [1] , I refer to a place of transience that does not hold enough significance to be regarded as a place in its own right. A non-place is typically denuded of aesthetics, utilitarian in design and devoid of landmarks and history. Examples might include: a car park, a waiting room or an exit passageway.
Spatial qualities associated with a given place it can be stated - carry psychological meaning – they affect how a place is experienced and how it is appropriated by the public. However non-places – devalued and disregarded as they are - do have the potential to evoke emotional resonances phenomenologically in people, especially through their portrayal in the medium of film. The high definition cinematic experience, with its verisimilitude to reality, can be used to reconfigure perceptions, human relationships and interactions with the built environment. This then is the premise of my paper.
I approach this subject very much as an artist seeking to understand and express the urban topography in a way that engenders a more imaginative engagement with it, in accordance with views espoused by Guy Debord [2] and the Psychogeography movement. Psychogeography is the point where psychology and geography intersect. Its proponents have set out to devise strategies to explore the city and experience a new awareness of the mystery beneath its banal surfaces. To sensitive and transform our experience of everyday life and re-code the meaning and function of places free from the homogenizing effects of capitalist development. It is the role of the filmmaker, novelist, and poet to uncover and celebrate the overlooked and forgotten corners of the city, the movement posits.
This film explores such a non-place – it is a narrow unassuming city passageway that links two shopping zones together and the social actors that inhabit it - albeit fleetingly. It is more in the way of a meditation on place, rather than a traditional narrative set within a contextual space - and should be read as such. The environment is in a sense the character of the film – it is both the background context and the foreground subject. The passageway in question is an ambiguous space, being as it is, formed out of the back walls of commercial buildings in close proximity to one another which act to both create an external barrier to the public – which prevents access - while at the same time establishing a new place – the passageway. Monitored at either end by CCTV.
Film by its inherent sequential nature narrativizes space. I use narrative in the loosest sense of the term to mean that it provides a visual structure that takes the viewer on a temporal, digitally mediated, cinematic journey. Through the juxtaposition of shots of various frame sizes – both at the macro and the micro scale - it can provide a strong impression of the complex totality of an environment, conveying a sense of its form, structure, and activity. Film captures a place’s subtle, ephemeral qualities – the changing pattern of light as it falls upon its surfaces, and sound and social dynamism of bodies flowing through it.
In this film I have adopted the realist mode of production - as espoused by film theorist Andre Bazin [3] - as I consider this the least intrusive and most neutral for an observational study of an environment. The camera was locked-off on the tripod and long takes were recorded of the environment to enable the viewer to scrutinize details – for example graffiti on a wall and cigarette butts discarded on the ground, etc. The forensic traces that evidence attitudes and actions occurring in a public space.

schedule of 24hrs, the artist and anthropologist refracts her own
experience in the region by attempting to sculpt a textured living
portrait of the Wall that separates Tijuana and San Diego. Images of a
rusty wall, unruly topography, decaying surveillance structures,
furtive moments of undocumented migrant crossings, and dystopian
landscapes are interwoven with a mournful voice-over enunciated from a
different time and place. The fate of the Wall is sealed: its
remains are to be collected like forensic evidence by a visitor,
perhaps another anthropologist and artist, perhaps another
undocumented migrant, from the future.

Representing that idea visually we set out to create six unique packages, all based on iconic crime and mystery scenarios, where the CLOO logo lived in place of a piece of evidence at a crime scene. Late in 2010, the Sleuth channel decided to follow the lead of their big sister network, SyFy, in rebranding themselves as something more unique and ownable. A couple of conversations later and we were teaming up with the good people at USA to develop and unveil the new home for all your crime and mystery programming: CLOO!
The concept was simple: clues are everywhere, if you just know where to look. Representing that idea visually we set out to create six unique packages, all based on iconic crime and mystery scenarios, where the CLOO logo lived in place of a piece of evidence at a crime scene. The radiocarbon sampling area is uniquely coated with a yellow–brown plant gum containing dye lakes. Pyrolysis-mass-spectrometry results from the sample area coupled with microscopic and microchemical observations prove that the radiocarbon sample was not part of the original cloth of the Shroud of Turin. The radiocarbon date was thus not valid for determining the true age of the shroud. The fact that vanillin can not be detected in the lignin on shroud fibers, Dead Sea scrolls linen, and other very old linens indicates that the shroud is quite old. A determination of the kinetics of vanillin loss suggests that the shroud is between 1300- and 3000-years old. Even allowing for errors in the measurements and assumptions about storage conditions, the cloth is unlikely to be as young as 840 years.

Yes. You heard what I said. All of it. It's all a bunch of lies. I know that it is a shocking claim to many, that our trusted officials in concert with our reliable mass media actually participated in deliberate deception designed to get us to accept war, but deal with it. I'm making it.
Our biggest moral obligation is ensuring that wars are not waged against people under false pretenses. War is the most disgusting and horrible thing you can inflict on any person.
As you read this article I am sure you will find there are a number of things that will surprise you. After researching the situation for months I assure you I have investigated as many sides of the story as possible. But I did reach a clear conclusion and I will not shy away from openly expressing the views that I have formed during this process.
What we have been seeing recently in the media, this time with a special emphasis on the online community, is the most sophisticated propaganda firework display we have ever witnessed. It’s no surprise so many people have been duped.
But a lie can travel the world before the truth has tied it’s shoe laces. But I believe that once the laces have been tied and the truth starts walking, eventually it’s gonna get to people.
There are at least two sides to every story
None of us could possibly have avoided hearing NATO’s side of the story and the reasons and justifications given for Gaddafi’s removal and how military intervention is necessary to protect Libyan citizens.
But are you sure you’ve heard both sides? Have you heard Gaddafi’s perspective on this issue? Or have you just heard “his side” as represented by the mainstream western media? If so I can start by telling you that his words, and the words of his son, Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi have been deliberately misinterpreted and edited out of context to create simple soundbite propaganda to influence people.
You will find that there is a completely different side of this story that is being completely ignored. It is not even being debated for it's merits, it simply is not talked about at all in the mainstream media.
Think about it. How much do you really know about Libya? Did you in all honesty know anything about the country before these events started unfolding? If I would have asked you back in February 10 questions about Libya and it’s affairs, how many do you think you would have answered correctly? And how much do you honestly know about what is going on there now?
I often find it intriguing how people tend to think they are qualified to give their view on things that in reality they know next to nothing about. They might have vague ideas generated by the mainstream media, biased textbooks and general pre-conceived notions, but not an actual thorough understanding of the country and it’s people and customs.
I had a discussion with a guy at a local bar the other day and I began the conversation by asking if he could tell me on what continent Libya was. Neither he nor his friend could answer correctly, picking Europe and Asia as their educated guesses. For some reason this guy still felt that his take on the situation was more accurate than mine, even as I told him I had been spending weeks investigating the matter. For those of you confused the correct answer is Africa.
I want to ask a simple question to make a simple case? Can you name me one current Libyan government official? You’re not allowed to say Gaddafi. Who holds the position of “Secretary of the General People’s Assembly” a position comparable to that of prime minister, although with a slightly different emphasis as he does not represent a political party and does not alone hold significant power. Did you even know that such a position exists in Libya and that he is elected by the people?
The less you know about something, the easier it is to deceive you.
My intention for exposing your potential and likely ignorance on this subject is not an attempt to show that I’m smarter or better than you. As I found out myself researching this article I knew remarkably little about Libya. And that is my point.
The mainstream media is focusing entirely on a set of news stories that have the specific intention of gathering support for military action and actively suppressing any story that would lead to people opposing it. This pattern will be exposed clearly as this article progresses.
It’s no wonder we don’t know much about Libya. Of course it gets confusing with all the different stories we hear of dictators and tyrants oversees. It is difficult to be an expert on all nations in the world. Just consider how many nations have existed and how long and rich each of their history is and how complex and

Australian Diplomats continue to advise Julian to "Just go to Sweden" (and hopefully get it over with), while claiming no knowledge of a US Grand Jury, cables they received describing an investigation "unprecedented in scale and nature", and a sealed indictment that awaits only Asange's placement in custody - anywhere - to be opened.
So who is Australia helping? Ecuador would say they are helping those who continue to persecute Julian Assange. A Passageway to Pleasure: a Creative Re-Working of ‘Non-Place’ Using Film as a Virtual Organ of Consciousness
This film is concerned with non-place as a form of affective landscape. By the term ‘non-place’, as coined by French anthropologist Marc Auge [1] , I refer to a place of transience that does not hold enough significance to be regarded as a place in its own right. A non-place is typically denuded of aesthetics, utilitarian in design and devoid of landmarks and history. Examples might include: a car park, a waiting room or an exit passageway.
Spatial qualities associated with a given place it can be stated - carry psychological meaning – they affect how a place is experienced and how it is appropriated by the public. However non-places – devalued and disregarded as they are - do have the potential to evoke emotional resonances phenomenologically in people, especially through their portrayal in the medium of film. The high definition cinematic experience, with its verisimilitude to reality, can be used to reconfigure perceptions, human relationships and interactions with the built environment. I approach this subject very much as an artist seeking to understand and express the urban topography in a way that engenders a more imaginative engagement with it, in accordance with views espoused by Guy Debord [2] and the Psychogeography movement. Psychogeography is the point where psychology and geography intersect. Its proponents have set out to devise strategies to explore the city and experience a new awareness of the mystery beneath its banal surfaces. To sensitive and transform our experience of everyday life and re-code the meaning and function of places free from the homogenizing effects of capitalist development. It is the role of the filmmaker, novelist, and poet to uncover and celebrate the overlooked and forgotten corners of the city, the movement posits.
This film explores such a non-place – it is a narrow unassuming city passageway that links two shopping zones together and the social actors that inhabit it - albeit fleetingly. It is more in the way of a meditation on place, rather than a traditional narrative set within a contextual space - and should be read as such. The environment is in a sense the character of the film – it is both the background context and the foreground subject. The passageway in question is an ambiguous space, being as it is, formed out of the back walls of commercial buildings in close proximity to one another which act to both create an external barrier to the public – which prevents access - while at the same time establishing a new place – the passageway. Monitored at either end by CCTV.
Film by its inherent sequential nature narrativizes space. I use narrative in the loosest sense of the term to mean that it provides a visual structure that takes the viewer on a temporal, digitally mediated, cinematic journey. Through the juxtaposition of shots of various frame sizes – both at the macro and the micro scale - it can provide a strong impression of the complex totality of an environment, conveying a sense of its form, structure, and activity. Film captures a place’s subtle, ephemeral qualities – the changing pattern of light as it falls upon its surfaces, and sound and social dynamism of bodies flowing through it.
In this film I have adopted the realist mode of production - as espoused by film theorist Andre Bazin [3] - as I consider this the least intrusive and most neutral for an observational study of an environment. The camera was locked-off on the tripod and long takes were recorded of the environment to enable the viewer to scrutinize details – for example graffiti on a wall and cigarette butts discarded on the ground, etc. The forensic traces that evidence attitudes and actions occurring in a public space.

Selected for broadcast on SOUVENIRS FROM EARTH ( www.sfe.tv ) an independent Art TV Station on the European Cable Network which broadcasts a 24/7 art program in France and parts of Germany reaching 10 million viewers. The film will also be promoted at the channel's permanent installation at Palais de Tokyo in Paris which is similar to an extended museum space. Screenings will take place for a period of 12 months from September 2012 onwards.

A Passageway to Pleasure: a Creative Re-Working of ‘Non-Place’ Using Film as a Virtual Organ of Consciousness
This film is concerned with non-place as a form of affective landscape. By the term ‘non-place’, as coined by French anthropologist Marc Auge [1] , I refer to a place of transience that does not hold enough significance to be regarded as a place in its own right. A non-place is typically denuded of aesthetics, utilitarian in design and devoid of landmarks and history. Examples might include: a car park, a waiting room or an exit passageway.
Spatial qualities associated with a given place it can be stated - carry psychological meaning – they affect how a place is experienced and how it is appropriated by the public. However non-places – devalued and disregarded as they are - do have the potential to evoke emotional resonances phenomenologically in people, especially through their portrayal in the medium of film. The high definition cinematic experience, with its verisimilitude to reality, can be used to reconfigure perceptions, human relationships and interactions with the built environment.
