These videos and others are being recirculated by the extremists as violence in Iraq is raging once again, coinciding with a false 'jihad' across the border in Syria, with many fighters moving between the countries. The fight by the militants in Yemen has largely been crushed, as the Yemen revolution did not support Al-Qaeda, in strong contrast with Syria where the 'Free Syrian Army' has amalgamated with Al-Qaeda groups. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant abbreviated as ISIS or ISIL, is an insurgent group active in Iraq and Syria. It was established in the early years of the Iraq War, and pledged alleigence to al-Qaeda in 2004, becoming known as al-Qaeda in Iraq.
The group then became an umbrella organization of Iraqi insurgent groups on October 15, 2006 under the name of Islamic State of Iraq.
It aims to establish a caliphate in the Sunni dominated regions of Iraq, and now expanding this to include Syria. The Islamic State is thought to be responsible for the deaths of thousands of Iraqi civilians as well as members of the Iraqi government and its international allies.
Despite significant setbacks to the group during the latter stages of the Iraq War, by late 2012 the group was said to have renewed its strength and more than doubled its number of members to about 2,500. And this number supposedly grew in 2013 due to fighters joining from countries outside the Middle East.
Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of Al Qaeda has told ISIS to stop fighting in Syria and disband the Syrian faction. But the Emir(leading commander on field) has ignored this and ISIS is still operating in Syria.
In the video also includes footage of Jaysh al-Islam. Jaysh al-Islam(Army of Islam) is formerly known as Liwa al-Islam or the Islam Brigade, is a merger of many rebel groups involved in the Syrian civil war. It operates chiefly in the Damascus neighborhoods of Douma and Eastern Ghouta.
Liwa al-Islam was the largest rebel faction located in Damascus. Saudi Arabia is preparing to give the group millions of dollars to "arm and train" the fighters in Jaysh al-Islam. Instructors from Pakistan will reportedly be used to help train the group.
Jaysh al-Islam is a driving force behind actions in Damascus and is known to cooperate with Jabhat al-Nusra and conduct joint operations.

Iraqi government forces battling an Al-Qaida offensive have launched air strikes on the city of Ramadi and Falluja, killing many Islamist militants, according to local officials.
Al-Qaeda's Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) has been steadily tightening its grip in the vast Sunni-dominated Anbar province in recent months in a bid to create a Sunni Muslim state straddling the frontier with Syria.
But last week's capture of positions in Ramadi and large parts of Falluja was the first time in years that Sunni insurgents had taken ground in the province's major cities and held their positions for days.

Al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) was a popular name for the Iraqi division of the international Salafi jihadi militant organization al-Qaeda. It was recognized as a part of the greater Iraqi insurgency.
The group was founded in 2003 as a reaction to the US led Coalition Iraq war, and first led by the Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who declared allegiance to Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda network in October 2004. It was initially operating under the name Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad (Arabic: جماعة التوحيد والجهاد, "Group of Monotheism and Jihad"); since 2004 its official name is Tanzim Qaidat al-Jihad fi Bilad al-Rafidayn (QJBR) ("Organization of Jihad's Base in the Country of the Two Rivers"). Foreign (non-Iraqi) fighters are widely thought to play a key role in its network.
Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad, often abbreviated to "JTJ" or shortened to Tawhid and Jihad, Tawhid wal-Jihad and sometimes Tawhid al-Jihad (or just Al Tawhid or Tawhid), was started by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and a combination of foreigners and local Islamist sympathizers, largely Kurdish. Zarqawi was a Jordanian Salafi who had traveled to Afghanistan to fight in the Soviet-Afghan War, but he arrived after the departure of the Soviet troops and soon returned to his homeland. He eventually returned to Afghanistan, running an Islamic militant training camp near Herat. Originally, Zarqawi started the network with the intention of overthrowing the kingdom of Jordan, which he considered to be un-Islamic in the fundamentalist sense, and for this purpose developed a large number of contacts and affiliates in several countries. His network may have been involved in the late 1999 plot to bomb the Millennium celebrations in the United States and Jordan. Zarqawi's operatives were also responsible for the assassination of U.S. diplomat Laurence Foley in Jordan in 2002.

Iraq (/ɪˈræk/ or 
i/ɪˈrɑːk/; Arabic: العراق al-‘Irāq); officially the Republic of Iraq (Arabic: 
جمهورية العراق (help·info) Jumhūriyyat al-‘Irāq), is a country in Western Asia spanning most of the northwestern end of the Zagros mountain range, the eastern part of the Syrian Desert and the northern part of the Arabian Desert.
Iraq borders Syria to the northwest, Turkey to the north, Iran to the east, Jordan to the southwest and Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to the south. Iraq has a narrow section of coastline measuring 58 km (36 mi) on the northern Persian Gulf. The capital city, Baghdad is in the center-east of the country.
Two major rivers, the Tigris and Euphrates, run through the center of Iraq, flowing from northwest to southeast. These provide Iraq with agriculturally capable land and contrast with the steppe and desert landscape that covers most of Western Asia.
Historically, Iraq was the center of the Abbasid Arabic Islamic Empire. Iraq has been known to the west by the Greek toponym 'Mesopotamia' (Land between the rivers) and has been home to continuous successive civilizations since the 6th millennium BC. The region between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers is often referred to as the cradle of civilization and the birthplace of writing, law and the wheel. At different periods in its history, Iraq was the center of the indigenous Akkadian, Sumerian, Assyrian, Babylonian, and Abbasid empires. It was also part of the Achaemenid, Hellenistic, Parthian, Sassanid, Roman, Rashidun, Umayyad, Mongol, Safavid, Afsharid, and Ottoman empires, and under British control as a League of Nations mandate.

Iraqi government forces battling an Al-Qaida offensive have launched air strikes on the city of Ramadi and Falluja, killing many Islamist militants, according to local officials. Al-Qaeda's Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) has been steadily tightening its grip in the vast Sunni-dominated Anbar province in recent months in a bid to create a Sunni Muslim state straddling the frontier with Syria. But last week's capture of positions in Ramadi and large parts of Falluja was the first time in years that Sunni insurgents had taken ground in the province's major cities and held their positions for days. -

These videos and others are being recirculated by the extremists as violence in Iraq is raging once again, coinciding with a false 'jihad' across the border in Syria, with many fighters moving between the countries. The fight by the militants in Yemen has largely been crushed, as the Yemen revolution did not support Al-Qaeda, in strong contrast with Syria where the 'Free Syrian Army' has amalgamated with Al-Qaeda groups. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant abbreviated as ISIS or ISIL, is an insurgent group active in Iraq and Syria. It was established in the early years of the Iraq War, and pledged alleigence to al-Qaeda in 2004, becoming known as al-Qaeda in Iraq. It aims to establish a caliphate in the Sunni dominated regions of Iraq, and now expanding this to include Syria. The Islamic State is thought to be responsible for the deaths of thousands of Iraqi civilians as well as members of the Iraqi government and its international allies.
Despite significant setbacks to the group during the latter stages of the Iraq War, by late 2012 the group was said to have renewed its strength and more than doubled its number of members to about 2,500. And this number supposedly grew in 2013 due to fighters joining from countries outside the Middle East.
Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of Al Qaeda has told ISIS to stop fighting in Syria and disband the Syrian faction. But the Emir(leading commander on field) has ignored this and ISIS is still operating in Syria.
In the video also includes footage of Jaysh al-Islam. Jaysh al-Islam(Army of Islam) is formerly known as Liwa al-Islam or the Islam Brigade, is a merger of many rebel groups involved in the Syrian civil war. It operates chiefly in the Damascus neighborhoods of Douma and Eastern Ghouta.
Liwa al-Islam was the largest rebel faction located in Damascus. Saudi Arabia is preparing to give the group millions of dollars to "arm and train" the fighters in Jaysh al-Islam. Instructors from Pakistan will reportedly be used to help train the group.
Jaysh al-Islam is a driving force behind actions in Damascus and is known to cooperate with Jabhat al-Nusra and conduct joint operations.

It seems that hardly a day goes by in which the Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL, doesn’t appear in a newspaper or on a TV news screen. And the news is always bad -- hideous death and wanton destruction of a type rarely seen in modern history.
So, what is the Islamic State? Where did it come from? What does it want? And why? Let’s try to answer these questions in turn.
First, ISIS is the illegitimate child of Saddam Hussein’s regime and al Qaeda. Saddam’s former military and intelligence officers hold many of ISIS’s most senior positions and have overseen the group’s rise to prominence. In 2002 and early 2003, some al Qaeda members relocated from Afghanistan to Iraq, where they prepared to fight the Americans, who toppled Saddam Hussein’s regime in March 2003. These jihadists became known as al Qaeda in Iraq when their leader Abu Musab al Zarqawi swore his allegiance to Osama bin Laden in 2004. Zarqawi, a murderous psychopath, was finally killed by US and Iraqi forces in June 2006. Following his death, al Qaeda in Iraq was rebranded as the Islamic State of Iraq.
In 2010 a new leader took control of the group -- Abu Bakr al Baghdadi. Taking advantage of the power vacuum left by the complete US withdrawal from Iraq in 2011 and the Syrian Civil War that began that same year, Baghdadi and his lieutenants greatly expanded the size and scope of the organization. At first, Baghdadi was loyal to al Qaeda’s senior leadership. But in 2013 he defied orders from his superiors and declared that his group was now the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria or Levant, known by its acronyms ISIS and ISIL. It’s worth noting that ISIS continues to market Osama bin Laden’s endorsement of them to this day.
What does ISIS want and why? ISIS is attempting to resurrect an empire similar to those that arose in Islam’s early history. These empires were referred to as “caliphates” and led by a “Caliph,” the Muslims’ chief ruler, also known as the “Emir of the Faithful.” This is, in fact, how Baghdadi’s followers now refer to him.
ISIS relies on a rich Islamic mythology, with citations from Islamic texts, to justify its actions and portray itself as the true heirs of Mohammed. Their propaganda videos use Islam’s early history to frame their actions as part of an ongoing conflict with the “Crusaders.” ISIS’s leaders want their followers to believe they are fighting as part of this same religious war. When ISIS’s Libyan branch executed 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians in 2015, ISIS advertised the slayings in a video titled, “A Message Signed With Blood to the Nation of the Cross” – “the Nation of the Cross,” of course, meaning Christians. That's why on Libya’s Mediterranean shores, the lead executioner of the Egyptian Coptic Christians pointed his knife in the direction of Italy and promised to conquer Rome, the symbolic seat of Christendom.
Despite seeking to spark an inter-faith war, however, most of ISIS’s victims are Muslims, especially Shiite Muslims for whom ISIS, which is Sunni Muslim, harbors a special animosity. ISIS claims that any Muslim who does not swear bay’ah (an oath of allegiance) to Baghdadi is an “infidel” or an “apostate.” Even ISIS’s rival jihadists in al Qaeda are considered apostates, because they refuse to genuflect to Baghdadi.

And what is the first thing the militants of this self-proclaimed group of US and Israel haters do? Those that don’t remain in Iraq killing Arabs (as the US has been doing since 1991) march off into Syria to kill Arabs and to overthrow the Assad government, which has been a goal of the US and Israel since at least 2012. If they really hated Americans and Israelis so much, and wanted to rid their countries of their influence, wouldn’t they more effectively attain their goal by attacking US forces and marching off into Israel? They are ruthless, fanatical, killers, on a mission, and that mission is to wipe out anyone and everyone, from any religion or belief system and to impose Shari’ah law. The mass executions, beheadings and even crucifixions that they are committing as they work towards this goal are flaunted like badges of pride, video taped and uploaded for the whole world to see. This is the new face of Evil.
Would it interest you to know who helped these psychopaths rise to power? Would it interest you to know who armed them, funded them and trained them? Would it interest you to know why? This story makes more sense if we start in the middle, so we’ll begin with the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
Not surprising, considering the fact that the leader of the Libyan rebels admitted that his fighters included Al-Qaeda linked jihadists who fought against allied troops in Iraq. These jihadist militants from Iraq were part of what national security analysts commonly referred to as Al-Qaeda in Iraq. Remember Al-Qaeda in Iraq was ISIS before it was rebranded. With the assistance of U.S. and NATO intelligence and air support, the Libyan rebels captured Gaddafi and summarily executed him in the street, all the while enthusiastically chanting “Allah Akbar”, the same way as same brand of rebels was chanting over dead body of Russian pilot recently killed on orders of the President of Turkey for ISIS to celebrate.
Now after Gaddafi was overthrown, the Libyan armories were looted, and massive quantities of weapons were sent by the Libyan rebels to Syria. The weapons, which included anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles were smuggled into Syria through Turkey, a NATO ally. The Times of London reported on the arrival of the shipment on September 14th, 2012. (Secondary confirmation in this NYT article) This was just three days after Ambassador Chris Stevens was killed by the attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi. Chris Stevens had served as the U.S. government’s liaison to the Libyan rebels since April of 2011.
While a great deal media attention has focused on the fact that the State Department did not provide adequate security at the consulate, and was slow to send assistance when the attack started, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh released an article in April of 2014 which exposed a classified agreement between the CIA, Turkey and the Syrian rebels to create what was referred to as a “rat line”. The “rat line” was the covert network used to channel weapons and ammunition from Libya, through southern Turkey and across the Syrian border.
Funding was provided by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. With Stevens dead any direct U.S. involvement in that arms shipment was buried, and Washington would continue to claim that they had not sent heavy weaponry into Syria. It was at this time that jihadist fighters from Libya began flooding into Syria as well. And not just low level militants. Many were experienced commanders who had fought in multiple theaters. The U.S. and its allies were now fully focused on taking down Assad’s government in Syria by any means.
As in Libya this regime change was to be framed by CNN, Fox News and other obedient to NATO Western media in terms of human rights, and now overt support began to supplement the backdoor channels. The growing jihadist presence was swept under the rug and covered up. However as the rebels gained strength, the reports of war crimes and atrocities that they were committing began to create a bit of a public relations problem for Washington. It then became standard policy to insist that U.S. support was only being given to what they referred to as “moderate” rebel forces.
Moderate rebels? Well it’s complicated. Not that this should really come as any surprise. Reuters had reported in 2012 that the FSA’s command was dominated by Islamic extremists, and the New York Times had reported that same year that the majority of the weapons that Washington were sending into Syria was ending up in the hands of Jihadists. For two years the U.S. government and other NATO states knew that this was happening, but they kept doing it.
And the FSA’s ties to Al-Nusra are just the beginning. In June of 2014 Al-Nusra merged with ISIS at the border between Iraq and Syria. So to review, the FSA is working with Al-Nusra, Al-Nusra is working with ISIS, and the U.S. has been sending money and weapons to the FSA even though they’ve known since 2012 that most of these weapons were ending up in the hands of extremists...

Following a year-long investigation, and just over two weeks after the London bomb attacks, BBC reporter and terrorism expert Peter Taylor peers into the murky world of the internet jihadi.
He discovers how bloodthirsty videos are made in Iraq and circulated by webmasters in the UK and elsewhere, in an underground broadcasting network.
He finds the web has become a secret and safe means of communication, as well as an inexhaustible online library of training manuals and information on how to carry out terrorist attacks.
Combined, these elements make the net the most significant weapon in al-Qaeda's new fractured and decentralised state.

While fears are raised by some that civil liberties are being eroded, one female local magistrate, who uses the anonymity of the net to pass herself off as a radical, has been responsible for the conviction of a Islamic radical.

Peter Taylor's three part series examines the new al-Qaeda which has emerged and the threat it poses to the West. The internet has been key in pulling together the shattered remains of the organisation that operated before the invasion of Afghanistan, according to the general running the Iraq war, Lt Gen John Abizaid.
He says: "The only safe haven that remains for al-Qaeda is the virtual realm. It is one that we all should be worried about."
Mike Sheuer, former head of the CIA Bin Laden unit, agrees: "The current state of al-Qaeda and the health of al-Qaeda is largely due to its ability to manipulate the internet."
Following a year-long investigation, and just over two weeks after the London bomb attacks, BBC reporter and terrorism expert Peter Taylor peers into the murky world of the internet jihadi.
He discovers how bloodthirsty videos are made in Iraq and circulated by webmasters in the UK and elsewhere, in an underground broadcasting network.
He finds the web has become a secret and safe means of communication, as well as an inexhaustible online library of training manuals and information on how to carry out terrorist attacks.
Combined, these elements make the net the most significant weapon in al-Qaeda's new fractured and decentralised state.

Since 2014 the Anbar Province is place of fierce fighting between Sunni Iraqi Militias and the Iraqi Army. The main area of the clashes are the citys Ramadi and Falluja where a strong sunni population is located.
According to Officials and witnesses, the Iraq government mainly has lost control over the strategic citys, west of Baghdad.
The renewed violence in the Sunni province has raised concern about the stability of the government amid dueling claims by the terror group and security forces over who was in control of Falluja and Ramadi.
Al-Qaeda black flags have been seen on government and police vehicles captured by the fighters.
The army has besieged Ramadi, the capital of Anbar province, and has launched air strikes on the city.
Security forces backed by tanks on battled militants in Iraq's Anbar province, where fighting has displaced thousands and sparked warnings of rights abuses and a worsening humanitarian crisis.
Some of the most significant fighting appeared to be in Falluja, where the U.S. military fought one of the bloodiest battles of the Iraq war, with militants planting al Qaeda flags on buildings.
Gunmen calling themselves the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant, formerly known as al Qaeda in Iraq, took to a stage before thousands of Sunnis following Friday prayers in Falluja.
The takeover of Fallujah and parts of Ramadi is the first time that tribal fighters have exercised such open control in major Iraqi cities since the height of the bloody insurgency that followed the US-led invasion of 2003.
The fighting has left more than a hundred people dead and forced thousands of Falluja's residents to flee the city, to Baghdad, northern Iraq and the southern city of Karbala, where Shiite leaders are hosting the displaced families in housing built for religious pilgrims.
The United States said it would speed up its deliveries of missiles and surveillance drones to Iraq as the Baghdad government battles a resurgence of Al-Qaeda linked militants.
Iraq's prime minister has urged residents and tribes in Anbar province to "expel" al-Qaeda-linked fighters to avoid an all-out battle - remarks that may signal an imminent military move to retake the former insurgent stronghold.
The Insurgents mainly ambushing Iraqi Army convoys in urban areas and attacking small check points and police stations with small arms, rpgs and ieds. The Iraqi Army repels with Air Strikes and armored infantry units.
The ISIL rebels were trying to bring the battle to the cities of Anbar and Fallujah because there's no security there and they know they will be thoroughly defeated in the desert.
The Iraqi civil war never really ended it just went off the boil for a while. Last year, the heat was turned back to high, with the number of civilian deaths from political violence doubling to roughly 8,000 people over the previous year, the highest civilian death toll since at least 2008.
Officials have blamed the upsurge in violence to a resurgent Al-Qaeda
emboldened by the civil war in neighbouring Syria, but the government has itself faced criticism for not doing enough to address the concerns of Iraq's disaffected Sunni Arab minority ahead of April elections.
