Doom is a series of first-person shooter video games developed by id Software. The series focuses on the exploits of an unnamed space marine operating under the UAC (Union Aerospace Corporation), who fights hordes of demons and the undead in order to survive.
Although preceded by earlier titles such as MIDI Maze on the Atari ST (in 1987) or Pathways into Darkness on the Macintosh, many gamers today consider Doom to be one of the pioneering first-person shooter games, introducing to IBM-compatible computers features such as 3D graphics, third dimension spatiality, networked multiplayer gameplay, and support for player-created modifications with the Doom WAD format. Since the release of Doom in 1993, the series has spawned numerous sequels, expansion packs, and a film.

Doom is a very close series to my heart, because, no joke, my first memory ever may in fact be playing Doom when I was very little. I've been playing the series my whole life and it's one of the few game series ever that I actively kept up with through the course of both its lifespan, and my own. Plus I love most of the games in the series. So enjoy my lengthy ramblings about what I love (and at times, what I don't love) about each game in this 20+ year series.

► What is Paradigm ASMR?
Paradigm is a surreal adventure game set in the strange and post apocalyptic Eastern European country of Krusz.
Play as the handsome mutant, Paradigm, who's past comes back to haunt him in the form of a genetically engineered sloth that vomits candy.
Paradigm’s unfortunate life begins at DUPA genetics, a company who sells prodigy children to the rich and powerful who don’t want to leave their inheritance to their poor excuse for biological children.
Something went wrong during Paradigm’s growing process and he was left horribly mutated. To save their reputation, DUPA dumped the hideous infant in a nearby post Neo-Soviet abandoned town, forcing him to fend for himself.
Paradigm didn’t let this get him down and found solace in music. He dreams of becoming the best electronic music artist the world has ever seen! Unfortunately his past is set to catch up with him and he must reluctantly step up as the world’s saviour. When really he just wants to finish his latest EP.
On his journey, Paradigm meets an array of strange characters. Some include: a psychopathic superhero, an evil sloth, a secretary knight , and a glam metal cult leader pug.

It's about a set of strange creatures whose instincts instead of focusing on
survival seem doomed them to an absurd and
comic extinction, in the presence of the astonished
gaze of the narrator.

Doom 3
Doom 3 (stylized as D00M3) is a science fiction survival horror first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by Activision. Doom 3 was first released for Microsoft Windows on August 3, 2004. The game was later adapted for Linux, as well as being ported by Aspyr Media for Mac OS X. Developer Vicarious Visions ported the game to the Xbox console (now backwards compatible to the Xbox 360), releasing it on April 3, 2005. British developers Splash Damage also assisted in design for the multiplayer elements of the game.
The game is a reboot of the Doom franchise from the 1990s. Doom 3 is set in 2145 on Mars, where a military-industrial conglomerate has set up a scientific research facility to research into fields such as teleportation, biological research and advanced weapons design. However, the teleportation experiments inadvertently open a gateway to Hell, resulting in a catastrophic invasion by demons. The player, an anonymous space marine, must fight through the base and find a way to stop the demons attacking Earth.Doom 3 features an award-winning game engine, id Tech 4, which has since been licensed out to other developers, and later released under the GNU General Public License in November 2011.

It's about a set of strange creatures whose instincts instead of focusing on survival seem doomed them to an absurd and comic extinction, in the presence of the astonished gaze of the narrator. Marc Newson on his unreleased projects
In this movie in our series filmed with Marc Newson at his London studio, he tells us about lesser-known projects - including a six-wheel Aston Martin for a member of a Middle Eastern royal family - that "for one reason and another didn't get out there." Abandoned ideas include a film camera from the year 2000 that "was clearly doomed" and a series of binoculars and telescopes for hunting and bird-watching that he describes as "the best products that never happened." There's also a clock tower commissioned for the Atlanta Olympics that "stayed in the box for about ten years somewhere" until Newson tracked it down and bought it back. Newson talks about the project while flipping through a copy of his new monograph Marc Newson - Works, published by Taschen.

Doom is a very close series to my heart, because, no joke, my first memory ever may in fact be playing Doom when I was very little. I've been playing the series my whole life and it's one of the few game series ever that I actively kept up with through the course of both its lifespan, and my own. Plus I love most of the games in the series. So enjoy my lengthy ramblings about what I love (and at times, what I don't love) about each game in this 20+ year series.

► What is Paradigm ASMR?
Paradigm is a surreal adventure game set in the strange and post apocalyptic Eastern European country of Krusz.
Play as the handsome mutant, Paradigm, who's past comes back to haunt him in the form of a genetically engineered sloth that vomits candy.
Paradigm’s unfortunate life begins at DUPA genetics, a company who sells prodigy children to the rich and powerful who don’t want to leave their inheritance to their poor excuse for biological children.
Something went wrong during Paradigm’s growing process and he was left horribly mutated. To save their reputation, DUPA dumped the hideous infant in a nearby post Neo-Soviet abandoned town, forcing him to fend for himself.
Paradigm didn’t let this get him down and found solace in music. He dreams of becoming the best electronic music artist the world has ever seen! Unfortunately his past is set to catch up with him and he must reluctantly step up as the world’s saviour. When really he just wants to finish his latest EP.
On his journey, Paradigm meets an array of strange characters. Some include: a psychopathic superhero, an evil sloth, a secretary knight , and a glam metal cult leader pug.

comic extinction, in the presence of the astonished
gaze of the narrator.

a new serie from Guillermo García Carsí.
Doomed presents the failures of the natural selection. A set of strange creatures whose instincts instead of focusing on survival seem doomed them to an absurd and comic extinction, in the presence of the astonished gaze of the narrator. WoD is a collaborative project between Imogen Reekie and Harry Winteringham that explores the subject of human interaction with technology, and in particular, human frustration with technology. Employing an instantly recognisable digital wait cursor, we acknowledge circumstances outside the digital environment that can be annoying and identify them with an actual 3D version of the symbol, experimenting with how the audience relates and interacts towards the symbol.

In this movie in our series filmed with Marc Newson at his London studio, he tells us about lesser-known projects - including a six-wheel Aston Martin for a member of a Middle Eastern royal family - that "for one reason and another didn't get out there."
Abandoned ideas include a film camera from the year 2000 that "was clearly doomed" and a series of binoculars and telescopes for hunting and bird-watching that he describes as "the best products that never happened."
There's also a clock tower commissioned for the Atlanta Olympics that "stayed in the box for about ten years somewhere" until Newson tracked it down and bought it back.
Newson talks about the project while flipping through a copy of his new monograph Marc Newson - Works, published by Taschen.

Doom is a very close series to my heart, because, no joke, my first memory ever may in fact be playing Doom when I was very little. I've been playing the series my whole life and it's one of the few game series ever that I actively kept up with through the course of both its lifespan, and my own. ► What is Paradigm ASMR?
Paradigm is a surreal adventure game set in the strange and post apocalyptic Eastern European country of Krusz.
Play as the handsome mutant, Paradigm, who's past comes back to haunt him in the form of a genetically engineered sloth that vomits candy.
Paradigm’s unfortunate life begins at DUPA genetics, a company who sells prodigy children to the rich and powerful who don’t want to leave their inheritance to their poor excuse for biological children.
Something went wrong during Paradigm’s growing process and he was left horribly mutated. To save their reputation, DUPA dumped the hideous infant in a nearby post Neo-Soviet abandoned town, forcing him to fend for himself.
Paradigm didn’t let this get him down and found solace in music. He dreams of becoming the best electronic music artist the world has ever seen! Unfortunately his past is set to catch up with him and he must reluctantly step up as the world’s saviour. When really he just wants to finish his latest EP.
On his journey, Paradigm meets an array of strange characters. Some include: a psychopathic superhero, an evil sloth, a secretary knight , and a glam metal cult leader pug.

It's about a set of strange creatures whose instincts instead of focusing on
survival seem doomed them to an absurd and
comic extinction, in the presence of the astonished
gaze of the narrator.
We were pleased to make the animation for this fantastic and weird 3D animated piece, working with a great team for El Señor Studio (www.elsenorstudio.com).

a new serie from Guillermo García Carsí.
Doomed presents the failures of the natural selection. A set of strange creatures whose instincts instead of focusing on survival seem doomed them to an absurd and comic extinction, in the presence of the astonished gaze of the narrator. In this movie in our series filmed with Marc Newson at his London studio, he tells us about lesser-known projects - including a six-wheel Aston Martin for a member of a Middle Eastern royal family - that "for one reason and another didn't get out there."
Abandoned ideas include a film camera from the year 2000 that "was clearly doomed" and a series of binoculars and telescopes for hunting and bird-watching that he describes as "the best products that never happened."
There's also a clock tower commissioned for the Atlanta Olympics that "stayed in the box for about ten years somewhere" until Newson tracked it down and bought it back.
Newson talks about the project while flipping through a copy of his new monograph Marc Newson - Works, published by Taschen.

Doom (stylized as DOOM and originally known as Doom 4) is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game will be a reboot of the Doom series and is the first major installment in the series since the release of Doom 3 in 2004. Doom is set to be released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Doom will feature a large arsenal of weapons, which can be collected and freely switched by players throughout the game. Many classic weapons, including the super shotgun and BFG 9000, will make a return. In addition, melee weapons such as the chainsaw, which can cut enemies in half, are also featured. Many enemies from the original games like the Revenant, Mancubus, and Cyberdemon return as well, some of them redesigned. As the combat system of the game puts emphasis on momentum and speed, the game allows players to perform movements like sprinting and double-jumping. A combat system known as "push forward combat" is featured, which discourages players from taking cover behind obstacles or resting to regain health also known as a health-regeneration system. Players instead collect health and armour pick-ups scattered throughout levels, or kill enemies to regain health. A new mechanic introduced in Doom is the melee execution system. It allows players to perform a melee-takedown similar to that of brutal doom when players deal enough damage to enemies. Enemies available for melee-takedown will be highlighted.
