Even in early February there is beauty and wonder in a small Cornish river. Relax and let the video take you on a watery journey. No need to get cold, tired or wet - I've done it for you! Marvel at nature's special effects again, as the river's flows around a small rock in mesmerising, glassy spiral shapes. I find these effects especially relaxing, and can feel my breathing becoming slower. Then drift back through the stars to a little shingle bank with water billowing around it, and glide along with the current until the camera pulls you back out to see the river flowing under the viaduct and the fields beyond. We then travel further downstream for another close encounter with patterns of light and current, and skim across the surface at duck's-eye level before grabbing a dangling twig, climbing up a small, low-hanging, leafless branch and watching as tiny waves and streaks of light flash past below while the bud-tipped branches sway with the current. Glide up-river a little way for another glimpse of shingle bed and to more overhanging branches bedecked with lichen, wisps of last year's wild plants and the occasional persisting autumn-brown leaf. Another branch dances vertically as the current pulls it rhythmically to and fro as though on elastic, before metamorphosing into a larger one yet further back upstream. Now we draw back to see the fields again, returning to the start of our journey. I hope you enjoyed it.
