Gatecrasher
Gatecrasher is an international clubbing brand made famous by the "Gatecrasher" (later "Crasher") dance music events, which were held at the Gatecrasher One nightclub in Sheffield, UK during the late 1990s and early 2000s. The promoters of the brand are Simon Raine, Simon Oates and, until 2004, Scott Bond. As of August 2014, the only Gatecrasher venue remaining was located in the United Kingdom (UK) city of Birmingham which was closed down perminantly by the authorities on November 25th 2015. The site of Gatecrasher Birmingham on Broad street were acquired by Deltic formerly luminar who are to turn the venue into their Pryzm brand in the summer of 2016
History
Conception
During the early 1990s, Scott Bond was a DJ for nightclubs in Birmingham. In approximately 1992, Bond met Simon Raine who was the manager of a club called Bakers at the time. Bond subsequently agreed to become the new resident DJ at Bakers, while Raine focused on the promotion of a new club night called Absolutely Ridiculous. In 1993, Bond started his own night at Bakers called Republica and later that year, the pair decided to collaborate on a new one-off event named Gatecrasher.

Plot: In the lead up to the first ever Australian superhero audition, a documentary crew spend a week with South Australia's premiere crime-fighting team, the Justice Squad. The micro-managing boss, Captain Justice, leads a less-than-super squad of heroes, including the matricidal Dark Avenger, the womanizing Mr Quick, the short-circuiting Electrode and the newest addition to the team, the elusive Mistress Mystery. The heroes might just get some work done if not for the distractions of the interfering camera crew, a less than ambitious work experience kid, Dark Avenger's meddling mother, and a group of nefarious super-villains who work just down the hall. As tensions between the heroes threaten to tear the squad apart, will they be able to pull together in time to impress the judges and win the holy grail of super-heroism... the comic book deal?
