In National Football League (NFL) American football, a palpably unfair act may be penalized by the referee with any distance penalty as they consider equitable, or by the awarding of a score. NFL rules do not define a palpably unfair act nor do they provide any examples. The penalty has never never occurred in NFL football.
Also in NFL football, a extraordinarily unfair act may be penalized by the NFL Commissioner by fines, draft forfeiture, suspension, or reversal of the game results.
In NFHS and NCAA football, penalties exist for unfair acts, but neither association uses the word "palpably" in their rule books.
Michael Pettaway Tomlin (born March 15, 1972) is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). Tomlin is the fifth youngest head coach in any of the four major North American professional sports. He is the tenth African-American head coach in NFL history, and first in Steelers history. With the Steelers' victory in Super Bowl XLIII on February 1, 2009, Tomlin became the youngest head coach to lead his team to a Super Bowl championship.
Tomlin was born in Hampton, Virginia, the younger of two sons; his brother, Eddie, is three and a half years older. Their father, Ed Tomlin, played football at Hampton Institute in the 1960s and was drafted by the Baltimore Colts. He later played for the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League. The elder Tomlin died in January 2012 from an apparent heart attack in Ocala, Florida, at the age of 63. However, Tomlin hardly knew his birth father and was raised by his mother and stepfather. Tomlin's mother, Julia, married Leslie Copeland, a supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service, in 1980.
Jacoby Rashi'd Jones (born July 11, 1984) is an American football wide receiver and return specialist who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Lane College, and was drafted by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. Jones has also played for the Baltimore Ravens. He was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2012. Jones is known for two of the most memorable plays in the 2012 NFL playoffs: catching a 70-yard game-tying touchdown pass in the final seconds of regulation in the AFC Divisional playoff game against the Denver Broncos, which helped lead the Ravens to an eventually 38–35 double overtime victory; and a 109-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in Super Bowl XLVII, the longest play in Super Bowl history.
Jones lived in New Orleans East. Jones attended St. Augustine High School and Marion Abramson High School in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a second-year student (junior) at St. Augustine he learned that the school considered him too small to play on the football team. Allen Woods, his godfather and the assistant principal of Abramson, advised him to transfer to that school. At Abramson, he was a letterman in football, basketball, and track. In basketball, he was an All-Metropolitan selection and an All-Area selection. In track, he was an All-Metropolitan selection and an All-Area selection, with a personal best of 10.28 seconds in the 100 meters and 21.3 seconds in the 200 meters.

Palpably Unfair Act - Called as necessary in the case of any illegal action that the officials deem has clearly and indisputably deprived a team of a score. For example, if a player or other person not legally in the game at the start of a given play comes onto the field to tackle a player apparently en route to a touchdown, the team that would have scored is awarded the touchdown. Coming off their home win over the Colts, the Eagles flew to FedEx Field for a Week 10 NFC East rematch with the Washington Redskins on Monday night. Philadelphia wasted no time kicking off the first quarter as on the very first play of the game, quarterback Michael Vick found wide receiver DeSean Jackson on an 88-yard touchdown pass. Afterwards, the Eagles added on to their lead with Vick's 7-yard touchdown run, followed by Vick finding running back LeSean McCoy on an 11-yard touchdown pass, along with running back Jerome Harrison's 50-yard touchdown run. Philadelphia continued its dominating night in the second quarter as Vick hooked up with wide receiver Jeremy Maclin on a 48-yard touchdown pass. The Redskins would answer with former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb completing a 3-yard...
american football touchdown compilations A touchdown is a means of scoring in both American and Canadian football. Whether running, passing, returning a kickoff or punt, or recovering a turnover, a team scores a touchdown by advancing the ball into the opponent's end zone. To score a touchdown, one team must take the football into the opposite end zone. The touchdown is scored the instant the ball crosses the plane of the goal line (that is, if any part of the ball is in the space on, above, or across the goal line) while in possession of a player whose team is trying to score in that end zone. The play is dead and the touchdown scores the moment the ball crosses the goal line in possession of a player, or the moment the ball comes into possession of an offensive player in the en...

I was a student in the Fall of '11 and had these iPhone clips and decided to make this film for those that would like to know what the housing looks like. However, take my word for it, it is beautiful, comfortable, well appointed.... So if you opt to be surprised, pass on this preview. It was as if they had decided to find a place that would equal a dream. Nothing would be missing. Not even the shadows were out of place. In John Pack's letters to us before we even saw the Villa he spoke of it the way one speaks of a birthday cake, a sweet chocolate to be anticipated: you will love this. And, we did. We couldn't help ourselves for this place was love itself. It is easy to love, love. Yes, for what is love but communion and beauty, silence and understanding, observation, anticipation an...
