Eloy "Buck" Canel (March 4, 1906 – April 7, 1980) was an American Spanish language sportscaster of Major League Baseball games. Canel was born in Argentina when his father was working for the Spain consulate in that country. He won the 1985 Ford C. Frick Award. He began his career in journalism. He died in 1980 in Croton-on-Hudson, New York.

Canel announced the New York Mets and New York Yankees games in Spanish during the 1970s over radio station WHOM, which was then a Spanish radio station in New York City. The feeds were occasionally broadcast to Latin American radio stations.

The call letters of WHOM are now used for an easy listening station in Portland, Maine.

Jorge Blanco (born March 21, 1945 in Caracas) is an artist from Venezuela before he emigrated to the United States in 1999. Jorge Blanco is currently residing in Sarasota, Florida. He has spent his professional career working as a sculptor,graphic designer and illustrator. His work is in public sites in the United States, Venezuela and Japan.

Blanco began painting in 1967, and sculpting in the early 1970s. In the eyes of Blanco however he has been an artist since childhood. “I have been an artist all my life because--in my opinion--every child is an artist. I never stopped drawing or coloring," Blanco said in an interview for the Observer (a newspaper printed in Florida). His interest in three-dimensional work is always at the forefront of his career. He won a scholarship at the Neumann Institute in Caracas, Venezuela, graduating with a degree in Industrial Design. After graduation he worked as a graphic designer. His first solo exhibition was in 1974, where he showed sculpture and drawings. He lived in Rome, Italy (1975–1979) where he continued to work in sculpture, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and drew political cartoons for the newspaper L'Opinione. He participated in the Bordhigera Humor Salon, (1978) winning the Dattero D'Argento and in the Monterotondo Sculpture Salon, where he was awarded the first prize for medium format sculpture. In an interview Blanco states, “Sculpture is my passion. I will do this forever. Everything else is a second, different level."

Giulietta Masina (22 February 1921 – 23 March 1994) was an Italian film and stage actress. She starred in La Strada and Nights of Cabiria, both winners of the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, in 1956 and 1957, respectively. Masina won the Best Actress award at the 1957 Cannes Film Festival for the later film.

She was the wife and muse of the Italian film director Federico Fellini, in whom she found an artistic equal and collaborator. Owing to her intense performances of naïve characters dealing with cruel circumstances, Masina is often called the "female Chaplin".

Giulia Anna Masina was born in San Giorgio di Piano, Bologna. Her parents were Gaetano Masina, a violinist and a music teacher, and Anna Flavia Pasqualin, a schoolteacher. Nonetheless, she spent most of her childhood and adolescence in Rome at the home of a widowed aunt. Masina had three elder siblings: Eugenia, and twins Mario and Maria. She attended the Hermanas Ursulinas school. She graduated in Literature from the Sapienza University of Rome.

Demetria Devonne "Demi" Lovato (born August 20, 1992) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and actress. Her earliest roles included Angela on Barney & Friends, before she became better known for her starring roles in the Camp Rock movies, as Sonny Munroe in the Disney sitcom Sonny with a Chance, and as the star of the 2009 movie Princess Protection Program. She is also involved in philanthropic activities through charity work and various social and environmental causes.

As a solo musical artist, Lovato released her debut album Don't Forget on September 23, 2008. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 selling 89,000 copies in the first week. It has since shipped over 500,000 copies, earning a gold certification in the United States. Lovato released her second album, Here We Go Again, on July 21, 2009. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 108,000 copies in the first week. Her third studio album, Unbroken, was released on September 20, 2011 and peaked at number four on the Billboard 200. She is working on her fourth studio album.
