The Binghamton IFL team is the temporary name for a professional indoor football set to play in the Indoor Football League. Originally scheduled to begin play in the 2012 season, a mass contraction of the league has pushed the team's debut back to at least 2013. The team is based in Binghamton, New York, with home games to be played at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Binghamton will play in the Atlantic Division of the IFL.
This team is the second indoor football team planned for Binghamton, hoping to be the first to actually kick off. A team called the Binghamton Brigadiers had planned to begin play in the American Indoor Football League's 2006 season, but would not come to fruition in Broome County (eventually playing as the Syracuse Soldiers, the team only played the 2006 season before folding).
