Lachlan Keith Murdoch (/ˈlɒklən ˈmɜːrdɒk/; born 8 September 1971) is an Australian media heir and businessman. He is currently the Executive Chairman of Nova Entertainment, Executive Co-Chairman of News Corp and 21st Century Fox, the founder of Australian investment company Illyria Pty Ltd, and a director of Sydney's Museum of Contemporary Art.
Lachlan Murdoch was born on 8 September 1971 in London, England, in the United Kingdom. He is the eldest son of Australian-American media mogul Rupert Murdoch, and his second wife, Scottish journalist and author Anna Murdoch Mann. He was raised in a wealthy New York City neighbourhood where his father owned the New York Post. He received his education at the exclusive Aspen Country Day School in Aspen, Colorado (U.S.), Trinity School in New York City as well as at the Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts (U.S.). He graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University.
Keith Rupert Murdoch /ˈmɜːrdɒk/,AC, KCSG (born 11 March 1931) is an Australian-born American media proprietor. Murdoch became managing director of Australia's News Limited, inherited from his father Sir Keith Arthur Murdoch in 1952. He is the founder, chairman and CEO of global media holding company News Corporation, the world's second-largest media conglomerate, and its successors News Corp and 21st Century Fox after the conglomerate split on 28 June 2013.
In the 1950s and '60s, he acquired a number of newspapers in Australia and New Zealand, before expanding into the United Kingdom in 1969, taking over the News of the World followed closely by The Sun. He moved to New York City in 1974 to expand into the U.S. market, but retained interests in Australia and Britain. In 1981, he bought The Times, his first British broadsheet, and became a naturalised U.S. citizen in 1985 to satisfy the legal requirement for U.S. television ownership.
In 1986, keen to adopt newer electronic publishing technologies, he consolidated his UK printing operations in Wapping, causing bitter industrial disputes. His News Corporation acquired Twentieth Century Fox (1985), HarperCollins (1989) and The Wall Street Journal (2007). He formed the British broadcaster BSkyB in 1990, and during the 1990s expanded into Asian networks and South American television. By 2000, Murdoch's News Corporation owned over 800 companies in more than 50 countries with a net worth of over $5 billion.
Bruce Gordon may refer to:
A hall of fame is a structure housing memorials to famous or illustrious individuals in a certain field, usually chosen by a group of electors. The meaning of "fame" has changed over the years, originally meaning "renown" as opposed to today's more common meaning of "celebrity".
In some cases, these halls of fame consist of actual halls or museums which enshrine the honorees with sculptures, plaques, and displays of memorabilia and general information regarding the inducted recipient/s. Sometimes, the honorees' plaques may instead be posted on a wall (hence a '"wall of fame") or inscribed on a sidewalk (as in a "walk of fame" or an "avenue of fame"). In others, the hall of fame is more figurative and just simply consists of a list of names of noteworthy individuals (or sometimes groups, for ex. Sporting groups or Rock groups) maintained by an organization or community or honouring its inducted members legacy or legend.
The English-language term was popularised in the United States by the Hall of Fame for Great Americans at Bronx Community College, in New York City, completed in 1900. Its inspiration is the Ruhmeshalle ("Hall of Fame") in Munich, Germany. The Walhalla memorial in Bavaria, Germany, is an even earlier hall of fame, conceived in 1807 and built from 1900 to 1907.

Sorry for the late upload. Since I live in the US, it's a bit difficult to get content from Australia's ABC iView as it's Geo blocked. I spent most of the day today researching ways around it without having to buy access to an Aussie VPN. End the end, none of the methods were 100% successful so I decided to go ahead and buy a 3 month subscription to the VPN. This means future episodes should be uploaded fairly quickly. Enjoy!
