The Double is a 2011 spy film, directed by Michael Brandt and starring Richard Gere and Topher Grace. It was released on October 28, 2011.
Two FBI agents are surveilling a warehouse. As a U.S. senator walks out of the door, he is approached by an assassin from behind who slits his throat and escapes. The agents rush to the scene to find the man dead. However, they could not identify the assassin as he committed the murder in darkness. Later, CIA officers arrive on the scene and take charge.
Former operative Paul Shepherdson (Gere) is retired. He is summoned by CIA director Tom Highland (Sheen) to look into the murder. He is introduced to a young FBI agent, Ben Geary (Topher Grace), who is an expert on a former Soviet operative known as Cassius, who Geary predicts to have committed the murder due to his signature throat-slitting method.
Paul and Ben visit one of Cassius's proteges who had been locked up in prison, to learn the whereabouts of Cassius. They provide him with a radio and leave. The prisoner then swallows the batteries from the radio and fakes an upset stomach. Upon arriving at a hospital, he spits out the batteries, overpowers the medical staff, and escapes. In the basement's garage, he is attacked by Paul, who reveals himself to be Cassius. Cassius slits his throat. Upon investigating the crime scene, Ben grows suspicious of Paul. Meanwhile, a Russian terrorist and murderer, Bozlovski, has entered the U.S.

Plot: In 'Ghost Of Old Highways' a man pursued by an invading army hunts down previous versions of himself amidst the purgatory of a fractured consciousness. The experiential short film is driven by an original score from the artist Lovett, whose song of the same name inspired the script from director Dan Bush. Shot on location deep in the North Carolina mountains, the surreal narrative is set against the distorted dreamscape of the Civil War, a time when this country had turned against itself and into its own worst enemy. The film explores the identity of the hero in the collective American psyche and the inherent struggle within to reconcile the choices one must make while being chased by the ghost of past ones.

Plot: On the same day, Andrei's wife Nina asks for a divorce, his colleague Natasha tells him she's attracted to him, he's assigned a new project under the direction of Philip (a well-dressed, authoritative, and even arrogant stranger who keeps touching him), and he fights a gang of homophobes to protect a young gay man, Oleg. The next day, Philip takes Andrei away from the office on an odyssey into a space that is charged with spirituality and homoeroticism. Philip is no businessman, and the disclosure of who he really is forces Andrei into a series of choices that involve Natasha, Nina, belief, and love.
