The city of Cambridge (
i/ˈkeɪmbrɪdʒ/ KAYM-brij) is a university town and the administrative centre of the county of Cambridgeshire, England. It lies in East Anglia, on the River Cam, about 50 miles (80 km) north of London. According to the United Kingdom Census 2001, its population was 108,863 (including 22,153 students), and was estimated to be 125,717 in mid-2010. There is archaeological evidence of settlement in the area in bronze age and Roman times, and under Viking rule Cambridge became an important trading centre. The first town charters were granted in the 12th century, although city status was not conferred until 1951.
Cambridge is most widely known as the home of the University of Cambridge, founded in 1209 and consistently ranked one of the top five universities in the world. The university includes the renowned Cavendish Laboratory, King's College Chapel, and the Cambridge University Library. The Cambridge skyline is dominated by the last two buildings, along with the chimney of Addenbrooke's Hospital in the far south of the city and St John's College Chapel tower.

Amy Lee Grant (born November 25, 1960) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, author, media personality and actress, best known for her Christian music. She has been referred to as "The Queen of Christian Pop". As of 2009, Grant remains the best-selling contemporary Christian music singer ever, having sold over 30 million units worldwide.
Grant made her debut as a teenager, and gained fame in Christian music during the 1980s with such hits as "Father's Eyes," "El Shaddai", and "Angels". In 1986, she scored her first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 song in a duet with Peter Cetera The Next Time I Fall. During the 1980s and 1990s, she became one of the first gospel artists to cross over into mainstream pop on the heels of her successful albums Unguarded and Heart in Motion, the latter of which included the No. 1 single "Baby Baby."
Grant has won six Grammy Awards, 25 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, and had the first Christian album ever to go Platinum.Heart in Motion is her highest-selling album, with over five million copies sold in the United States alone. She was honored with a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2005 for her contributions to the entertainment industry.

http://worldlifilm.com | I visited Cambridge, England on a gig shooting at a conference for George Soros' Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET). It was a dream job, as I got paid to shoot a high-level conference in the VJ-style I specialize in. I also got to travel around England and shoot some travel videos! This is the first travel film I have ever shot completely on a Flip Mino HD. I love it because it is very easy to shoot with, and I can carry it anywhere without having to bring a backpack or worry about my big camera. However, the audio sucks and the images leave a little to be desired. But then again, I shot this video in the first hour I was there - I most likely wouldn't have shot anything if I had to bring out the big camera. So it's a tradeoff. Let me know what... -

It was a dream job, as I got paid to shoot a high-level conference in the VJ-style I specialize in. I also got to travel around England and shoot some travel videos!
This is the first travel film I have ever shot completely on a Flip Mino HD. I love it because it is very easy to shoot with, and I can carry it anywhere without having to bring a backpack or worry about my big camera. However, the audio sucks and the images leave a little to be desired. But then again, I shot this video in the first hour I was there - I most likely wouldn't have shot anything if I had to bring out the big camera.
So it's a tradeoff. Let me know what you think in the comments: was this film decent? Or did the quality drop because I was using the smaller camera, compared to my other recent stuff?

READ MORE: One of the most fascinating discoveries for me so far on my Christian journey has been Handel's Messiah. Yes, the music is very moving. But it is the way in which biblical prophecy is arranged chronologically that makes this piece so fascinating to me. But it is the way in which biblical prophecy is arranged chronologically that makes this piece so fascinating to me. It gives clear testimony of our God, the Eternal One, the great I AM, the one who said:

[HOW TO BE SAVED]
After you die do you think you will you go to Heaven or Hell?
We all DESERVE to go to HELL because of what we have done WRONG in this life!
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"
(Romans 3:10)
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
(Romans 3:23)

The "Good News" is that God LOVES us and wants to SAVE US from going to that terrible place called hell.
Check this verse out from the Bible...
"For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have ALL men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:3-4)

After we DIE it will be TOO LATE to be saved!
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the JUDGMENT"

God's solution for our sin is THE CROSS...
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace;" (Ephesians 1:7)

SALVATION is God's FREE GIFT to us...

The Result of our faith is PEACE WITH GOD...
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:1)

At this very moment you have the responsibility of making a decision.
You can be saved right now:
Simply make the decision in your heart to trust completely and exclusively in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as the total payment to God for your sins.
The moment you do, God will forgive you all your sins and save you from spending eternity in the Lake of Fire.

Its repertoire encompasses a broad variety of music, both classical and contemporary, from around the world. As part of its series, the choir supports local and national composers by commissioning and performing their works.
Since the opening of the National Arts Centre (NAC) in 1969, the Cantata Singers of Ottawa has performed every year with the NAC Orchestra under the baton of the NAC's artistic directors, from Mario Bernardi to Trevor Pinnock and Pinchas Zukerman, as well as internationally renowned guest conductors.
In the fall of 2005, the Cantata Singers of Ottawa released two CDs: Songs of Inspiration—A Feast of Canadian Choral Music and Rachmaninoff's Vespers (All Night Vigil), both under the baton of the choir's former Music Director, Laurence Ewashko, who had replaced Brian Law as Music Director in 1988. These join the choir's earlier recording of Christmas tunes from around the world. Send an e-mail message to the choir at cd (at) cantatasingersottawa.ca to request further information about the recordings. In 1998, it united with the NAC Orchestra under Mario Bernardi in recording (Shattered Night, Shivering Stars), a CD of music of Canadian composer Alexina Louie. The choir has recorded programmes for CBC Radio, CBC Television and Radio Canada, and it has won top honours in the CBC Radio competition for amateur choirs
Along with numerous tours within Canada, the Cantata Singers of Ottawa performs internationally. Over the past 20 years or so, along with touring in southern Manitoba, the Maritimes, and southwestern Ontario, the choir has been nearly around the world. In 1988, it represented the City of Ottawa in a cultural exchange with The Hague in The Netherlands. The summer of 1994 saw the choir in Hong Kong and Taiwan. In June, 1998, the choir toured Austria and Hungary, performing in Innsbruck, Salzburg, Graz, Budapest and Vienna. The choir sang Brückner's Ave Maria in St. Florian's Abbey, where it had been written. Most recently, in June, 2001, the choir toured Italy, participating in the Third International Festival of Choirs in Siena (arranged by the Associazione Musicale Coro Vico Alto di Siena) and performing in Perugia and Rome.

Papa Wemba, a musician known around the world as the king of Congolese rumba, has died following a collapse on stage during a concert, officials said. He was 66.
