On the 29th Of September travelled to London to film 44932 again! after that, went to Finsbury Park and Stratford, after filming, travled on the 1710 1P47 Onboard 9006 Roger Ford/Modern Railways for a ride by poking my head out the train window from Stratford to London Liverpool Street also passing through Bethnal Green Sorry about my thumb getting in the video, it was raining heavy and raindrops blocked the lens!

One would not usually think of cable cars at an airport, but there are some short cable driven railways shuttling passengers at MSP International. Unlike the San Francisco cable cars, which are pulled by a continuously running cable and started/stopped by crews on each individual car, the MSP trams are permanently attached to the cable and have no onboard crews. To run the trams, the motor that drives the cable is started and stopped, working much like an elevator. The cable cars in San Francisco all run on one-way tracks, with a separate track for each direction. The MSP trams have single track segments that carry cars in both directions, which requires complicated switching to allow opposing cars to pass. The workings of the San Francisco tracks are all in the streets, all paved over and hidden by steel plating; the MSP trams have their own exclusive rights of way with the cable workings all open to view. And lastly, the San Francisco cable cars all look the same as they did over a hundred years ago - even the new ones built within the last 20 or 30 years. The MSP airport trams are modern, space-agey podlike things. This is part of the C concourse tram line between two of its three stops. It is elevated and the track bed has an open grating, which keeps snow from accumulating too much. There are also some underground segments on another line.

Warley Model Railway Exhibition 2008 Part 2 (Original Sound)
Here is part 2 from the Warley Model Railway Exhibition that was held at Birmingham NEC on the 22nd and 23rd of November 2008. This part shows the layout that was on the Chiltern Trains stand which features Class 168's and a Wrexham & Shropshire Top-n-Tailed Class 67 with MkIII's in the British Rail Blue/Grey livery and there are some stills showing the new releases from Vi Trains, Hornby and Bachmann including that long-awaited Class 150/1 in Centro livery and I cannot wait until that comes out! See you there again in 2009. This version has the original audio as recorded at the event instead of music and this the format is in 4:3 as originally filmed because the 16:9 version looked stretched. Apart from these changes, the video is the same as that uploaded back in 2008 and this will replace that one at the end of the month. Comments & Ratings Welcome!

LITTLEWOOD, British N Gauge Model Railway
This is footage taken of our Modern Image 'N' Gauge Model Railway 'Littlewood' at a Model Railway Exhibition near Wolverhampton. The layout was exhibited all around the UK between 1996 and 2007, attending over 50 shows. The track plan comprises a double track mainline which passes through three levels; on the middle level it is joined by two slow lines, making a quadruple section. The lower level mainline is equipped with overhead catenary for electric services. A disused branch line from the upper level has been taken over by a preservation society, who are in the process of restoring it for steam and diesel operation. The station has been renovated for use as a base for passenger services and locomotive restoration and a limited shuttle service is operating over part of the line. The movement of trains is fully automated using magnets, reed switches and relays. The layout was sold in 2007 and a full description is available at welcome.to

Modern Railways is a British monthly magazine covering the rail transport industry published by Ian Allan. It has been published since 1962.
It has always been targeted at both railway professionals and serious amateurs, an aim which derives from its origins as an amalgamation of the enthusiast magazine Trains Illustrated and the industry journal The Locomotive in the hands of its first editor Geoffrey Freeman Allen.
It is currently edited by James Abbott. Regular contributors include Roger Ford and Alan Williams.
