Glossary of professional wrestling terms
Professional wrestling has accrued a considerable nomenclature through its long existence. Much of it stems from the industry's origins in the days of carnivals and circuses, and the slang itself is often referred to as "carny talk." In the past, wrestlers used this lingo in the presence of fans so as not to reveal the worked nature of the business. In recent years, widespread wrestling discussion on the Internet popularized the terms. Many of the terms refer to the financial aspects of pro wrestling in addition to performance-related terms.

Work - Class 9 Tutorial
If a lot of force is applied to a body, it moves the body a longer distance in the direction of the applied force, resulting in a large amount of work being done. Whereas, a small amount of force applied to a body, moves the body only a short distance, resulting in lesser amount of work being done.
That is, work done by a force depends on:
•The magnitude of the applied force, i.e., W a F
•The distance travelled by the body in the direction of the applied force, i.e., W a S

Work and Energy in Physics | Introduction to work and energy with Examples | Work Energy
The most EASY CONCEPT of work and energy is explained in this video. This lecture will give you all the fundamental and basic concept of work and energy in physics.
Q: What is work in Physics? Give examples.
Ans: In Physics, Work is defined as the energy transferred by a force in its own direction. Or we define work in physics as the dot product of force and displacement.
The S.I unit of work is Newton meter or Joule.
Mathematically;
Work done = Fd cosine theta
Work done is a dot product. Work done is not a cross product.
For examples;
If you exert ten Newton force on an object and the object is displaced twenty meter in the direction of force, the work done here will be 200 newton meter or 200 joule.
Q: Explain work done in physics with examples?
Ans...

Mathematically;
Work done = Fd cosine theta
Work done is a dot product. Work done is not a cross product.
For examples;
If you exert ten Newton force on an object and the object is displaced twenty meter in the direction of force, the work done here will be 200 newton meter or 200 joule.
Q: Explain work done in physics with examples?
Ans: In physics, when an object is displaced in the direction of force work is said to be done.
Work done depends on:
1) Applied force
2) The cosine angle between the force and displacement.
If the angle between the force and displacement is zero degree, work will be maximum. It is because the cosine zero degree is equal to one. As a result, work will be maximum
If the angle between force and displacement is zero, work will be zero. It is because the cosine ninety degree is equal to zero. As a result, work will be minimum.
For example;
If you exert a force of ten newton on an object in right side and the object moves in downward direction. Then the angle between force and displacement will be ninety degree and we know that cosine ninety degree is equal to zero; hence, your work done will be zero here.
Q: Define positive work in physics with examples?
Ans: In physics, when the angle between force and displacement is zero work will be positive. Or when an the direction of force and displacement is same work will be positive.
For example, when you kick a football the football moves in the direction of your kick or force. Hence work done will be positive.
Q: Define negative work in physics with examples?
Ans: In physics, negative work is defined as when the direction of your force and the direction of your displacement is opposite or when the angle between your force and displacement is 180 degree then your work will be negative.
For example;
When you raise an object from earth. Your displacement will be in upward direction and the force of gravity will be in downward direction. Thus work against gravity will be negative.
Q: Does work a scalar or vector quantity?
Ans: Work is a scalar quantity. It is because that work is a dot product; work is not a cross product. Due to dot product work is a scalar quantity. Work only need magnitude for its complete explanation.
Q: Define one joule in physics?
Ans: In physics, One joule is explained as when one Newton force displaces an object in its direction the work done will be one joule. One joule is equal to one newton meter.
For example;
When you exert one newton force on an object and the object covers one meter displacement, work will be one joule.
Q: Define energy and its types in Physics? Give examples of energy.
Ans: In physics, Energy is defined as the ability to do work or energy is defined as the capacity to do work. Energy is a scalar quantity. The S.I unit of energy is Joule.
There are different types of energy in physics.
For example;
1) Kinetic Energy
2) Potential Energy
3) Chemical Energy
4) Thermal Energy
5) Sound Energy
6) Light Energy, etc.
What is the difference between work and energy in physics? Give examples.
Ans: In physics, there is no difference between work and energy. Work produces energy and energy produces work. Both, work and energy, are transferable. We can transfer work into energy and energy into work.
For example.
When you raise an object from the surface of a ground. You have done some sort of work. We know that an object at a certain height of earth possess potential energy. Hence, this work done has produced potential energy in an object.

Lesson 9 (Work and Energy) of Dianna's Intro Physics Class on Physics Girl. Never taken physics before? Want to learn the basics of physics? Need an AP Physics 1 review before the exam? This course is for you!
Exercises in this video:
1. A rocket pushes a space cow, from rest, with a Force of 100N, over a distance of 10m. How much work did the rocket do? What is the final kinetic energy of the cow? How fast is the cow moving?
2. You lift a 10kg cow, with a constant velocity, 10m up. How much work did you do? How much potential energy is stored in the gravitational field?
3. You drop the cow 10m onto a big cow airbag. How fast was the cow moving right before she hit the airbag? How fast would a cow with twice as massive be moving with the same setup?
4. A giant wrecking ball with 80kg mass, is dropped from a height of 35m. It bounces off of a trampoline and reaches a height of 14m on the return trip. How much energy was lost to heat in the bounce?
5. A square cow slides down a frictionless ramp, starting at a height h above the ground. At the bottom the cow starts sliding along the ground. How far does the cow slide, in terms of m, g, h, and u, where u is the coefficient of friction between the cow and the ground? [u is mu]
Special thanks to Mark Rober for his encouraging shoutout and to Simone Giertz for letting me almost hit myself in the face with a bowling ball at her workshop.

Electrician Explains How Circuit Breakers And Electrical Panels Work
A lot of green apprentice electricians ask about how panels work, and more specifically what the roll of the circuit breaker is. Some guys think that breakers "put out" electricity, or that they "send" a certain amount of amperage to a load from the panel. This is not how it works.

Electrical house wiring is the type of electrical work or wiring
that we usually do in our homes and offices, so basically electric
house wiring but if the factory is a factory, they are also
electrical wiring but it is not house. because 440+ volt are used
in that house but 220 to 240 volts are used in our house wiring.
and i hope you can learn how to do house wiring and what you can
do through this video.
Electric house wiring is consists of an electrical wiring system that
distributes energy to be used. in equipment and appliances around the
house it is also involves the proper installation.and operation of the
electrical outlets switches breakers meter base and different
electrical circuits. MCB a miniature circuit breaker MCB automatically switches off electrical circuit during an abnormal condition of the network means in overload condition as well as faulty condition. Nowadays we use an MCB in low voltage electrical network instead of a fuse Handling an MCB is electrically safer than a fuse.

▶️How Electrical Grids Work
Electrical power is predominantly generated in power stations although smaller generation sites now exist (solar panel installations etc.). More than 95% of the world’s electrical power is generated from turbines. Turbines act as prime movers and cause rotors within generators to rotate.
Once electrical power has been generated, it is distributed through a series of conductors (think of copper or aluminium cables) to an electrical transformer.
Electrical transformers increase voltage and consequently reduce the current (Ohms law), but the power remains roughly the same. It is necessary to increase the voltage to reduce power losses (P=I^2R), but it also allows for the use of smaller conductors to be used. Transformers that increase voltage are referred to as ‘step-up’ transformers.
Conductors then feed from the transformer to a series of transmission towers (electrical pylons). Power reaches the area where it will be consumed and is reduced in voltage by a step-down transformer (voltage reducing transformer).
The equipment necessary to increase and reduce voltage (transformers, breakers, surge arresters etc.) are housed within structures known as ‘substations’ (normally open air switchyards).
It may be necessary to reduce the voltage several times until it reaches a level that is suitable for consumers (10 kV, 6 kV, 3 kV, 380 V etc.). The voltage required by consumers depends upon how the electrical power is utilised. Industrial plants require 3 phase medium voltage power whilst residential areas require single phase (1 phase) 220 V or 110 V. The power grid is split into generation, transmission and distribution sections.

A lot of green apprentice electricians ask about how panels work, and more specifically what the roll of the circuit breaker is. Some guys think that breakers "put out" electricity, or that they "send" a certain amount of amperage to a load from the panel. This is not how it works.

To start out, an electrical panel is simply a place where all of the many loads throughout the house meet up with the main feeders or service entrance conductors coming into the building. It's essentially a large junction box. But rather than just joining all of the branch circuits and feeders to the service entrance wires, we put breakers in between each circuit to protect that circuit from any problems that may arise.
To understand how electricity flows we must understand the idea of "difference of potential." When a difference of potential energy exists between 2 wires, connecting those wires together will allow current to flow through them. It will be extremely dangerous due to the amount of electrons flowing through the circuit, and you will most likely see an explosion happen in front of you. So don't do this. Electricity is extremely dangerous in a circuit without a load or impedance in it. So to make electricity useful, we have to introduce a load to the circuit. A load is essentially a resistance. It is something that slows current down. Loads can also be inductive/capacitive and therefore reactive rather than resistive, but we won't get into the semantics of this topic, in this post. For now just understand that for electricity to be useful it must be slowed WAY down.

Electrical engineering can be broken up into various concentrations. The main one's I discuss in the video are power, electronics, RF, and controls. Students who enter into electrical engineering will all take mostly the same classes up until normally their 3rd or 4th year. By that time they take classes that are specific to these concentrations and subfields. The electrical engineering major can lead to many types of career paths in all these different fields so if you enjoy any of them, then it may be a good major for you. You will learn a little about all the concentrations but later on you should be able to pick which one you like the most. Most engineering majors have concentrations like this so be sure to look into specifically what you want to get out of a given college major and what career path will be best for you.

Electrical Switchgear LT Panel:
LT Panel is an electrical distribution board that receives power from generator or transformer and distributes the same to various electronic devices and distribution boards. Such panels are used in industries both for internal and external use and, therefore, they are quite rugged to withstand different climatic conditions. Our LT panels are designed to work with low electricity consumption that makes them cost effective.
Three-phase electric power is a common method of alternating current electric power generation, transmission, and distribution.
An interlock is a feature that makes the state of two mechanisms or functions mutually dependent. It may be used to prevent undesired states in a finite-state machine, and may consist of any electrical, electronic, or mechanical devices or systems
Many people use generators to supplement power to a home or business in the event that main (municipal) power has gone offline. In order to safely transfer the power source from a generator (and back to main), a safety interlock is often employed. The interlock consists of one or more switches that prevent both main power and generator power from powering the dwelling simultaneously. Without this safeguard, both power sources running at once could cause an overload condition, or generator power back-feed onto the main could cause dangerous voltage to reach a lineman repairing the main feed far outside the building. An interlock device is designed to allow a generator to provide backup power in such a way that it (a) prevents main and generator power to be connected at the same time, and (b) allows circuit breakers to operate normally without interference in the event of any overload condition. Most interlock devices for electrical systems employ a mechanical device to manage movement of circuit breakers. Some also allow for the use of padlocks to prevent someone from accidentally activating the main power system without authorization
