For Invisible Cities Tournament [Round 2] The Chosen words: The World: Many Worlds Main Character (Sora): Protector MC Wants: To Save Other Character (Stella): Immortal Short Explanation: Black and white scenes & the ones with the tv-simulator effect in it are flashbacks/memories. Sora - as the main character - is supposed to be the PROTECTOR of all these MANY WORLDS that exist out there. The other character - Stella - is basically just IMMORTAL (it's unkown what excatly she is). Point is, she was the one who 'made' or 'awakened' sora and told him what to do. However Sora realises the difference between 'protecting' and 'saving' and now wants nothing more but to SAVE everyone. Story: (Where am I? ... Who am I? This light,.. where does it come from?) A sweet smile glow through the light and reached my face. The smile's owner was just as beautiful as her facial expression - A young woman with long, golden hair. She couldn't be human, she had to be something immortal-- 'Dont be afraid.' she said. 'I won't hurt you.' For some reason I immediatly believed her and the even more enchanting voice she had. 'Listen to me, Sora.' (Sora...? Is that my name?) 'You're their Protector - You have to look out for them. All these hearts. All these souls. Mend their damage, carry their sorrow & guide them back home. This is your purpose.' (My... purpose?) Huge words like that marked my existence and as the angel who awakened me from my slumber told me to go and protect these worlds out there, I followed her orders. Blindly. As I reached an island - that could be called Paradise with all its beauty and brightness - I met her. 'Hehe - You're funny one!' 'Who are you?' 'My name's Kairi - Nice to meet you!' A dying rose in the middle of a desert. That's what she was in my eyes. But as the creature that followed her like a shadow appeared, I could do nothing to stop this terrible darkness from rising. 'This place - just can't be protected anymore.' The sweet Angel called me back and sent me to other worlds. Safer places. I met other people, you could say I made new friends. But this memory of Kairi & her destroyed islands would follow me wherever I'd go. Seeing the same monsters then again, I decided to fight. My friends joined me, supported me and together we chose to defeat the darkness! But as I reached the light that was locked up inside these dark shadows, she brought me back. Again. 'I can't just leave them in the middle of a fight!' 'Your work is done, you protected them, there is nothing else you have to do.' 'Please - let me go back.' 'No, you can't' 'If you won't let me, then I just force my way!' This rage inside me controled my body and the key-shaped weapon was pointed at my saviour, the one who gave me life. But none of this mattered then, just the anger did. I don't remember how long we fought, how many blood we shed, how much pain both of us caused. But in the end, I was a fool to believe that I could win against someone like her that easily. She drowned me in darkness and left the battle ground as I was slowly drifting away. (I promised to save them all..... I owe you that ... Kairi.) --- You should never turn your back on a half-dead enemy... how do you think Immortality is granted? Some were born with that gift, some receive a gift from the goddess, and some will drink as much darkness as they can to regain strength... I really reach my limit there :'D Good god ! FOUR stupid projects. I started FOUR projects! All were crap Dx And as I headdesked for the 2516546889498984987984545668468468th time I finally had a proper idea! And that wasen't even the hardest part... nono I'm speaking of finding the right soundtrack e.e geez don't remind me of my editing/searching-for-material-time *dies* Anyway, I'm quite new to this intrumental-text-thingy, normally voice-overs tell the story instead of 1000 sentences in the vid :'D BUT I gotta say I'm quite proud of this one. Even tho I died in the middle of editing it, I'm just glad that I could come up with something like that! Random Facts about this vid: 1# Bad masking is just bad masking ! 2# .. I'm sorry for making Riku evil (like always) 3# yes, sora's hair is different, cos I can't mask 4# 3 damn cutscenes for every stella scene in here... wth 5# Sora bows at least 2 times in this vid 6# there is no obv thing that makes stella look immortal....she just is 7# I bet you can see some part of Noctis during some scenes --- and no not these parts 8# the text is often too long and the time for reading it is too short... pause pls ;-; 9# there's new colouring involved O; 10# I used only 4 transition types.... what's wrong with me?
