The famous Route 66 was one of the original federal routes between 1926 and 1985. It started in Chicago and lead through Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California ending in Los Angeles. The length of this historical route is around 4000 km’s. Let us visit the shops, the gas stations, motels, and restaurants along the Mother Road. Let us stop at a secluded spot and listen to the sound of the million wheels traveling on this road. Let us visit the cities of Chicago and St. Louis, the Museum of the West and the western movies, the Native American villages, and the great river, the Mississippi. Let us think of Mark Twain, Walt Whitman, Jack Keruac, John Steinbeck, and the ’Easy riders’. Let us see the wonderful colors of Santa Fe and the fantastic Grand Canyon. Let us walk in the footsteps of the stars on the streets of Beverly Hills and Hollywood, and take a swim in the Ocean on the beach of Santa Monica or Malibu.

https://www.expedia.com/Honolulu.d1488.Destination-Travel-Guides
Welcome to Honolulu, the capital of Hawaii. Stationed on the island of Oahu, Honolulu is ready to show you surf and sun like you’ve never seen before. Whether you’re here to live the life of a beach bum or want to explore the city’s lush tropical surroundings, you’ll find everything you’re looking for on your Honolulu tour.
Hawaii had a pretty explosive inception—Diamond Head Crater, also called Leahi, started life as an active volcano. Don’t worry; it’s since gone dormant, which means you can climb to the rim and take in a truly brilliant view of the coast. Head back down to the water and go paddleboarding or swimming; “Honolulu” means “sheltered bay,” and the beachfront here lives up to its name: It’s calm and sheltered year-round.
Honolulu sightseeing must include a day at Pearl Harbor. While there, you can wander the decks of the USS Missouri, explore the confines of the USS Bowfin, and observe a moment of silence at the USS Arizona Memorial.
Head downtown to take in some of Honolulu’s storied history. The statue of King Kamehameha stands guard over the city itself, and you can check out the American Florentine architecture of Iolani Palace. While you’re there, try a Japanese fusion dish or sample from the numerous other eateries lining the city. Stick around as evening falls and you’ll see hula dancers and a breathtaking sunset.

http://www.HouseSoldEasy.com Sell your house fast Wildwood
Missouri! We buy houses in Wildwood and throughout the Metro Wildwood
area. Sell your Wildwood MO house fast and hassle free! We can close with
cash, fast! If your house needs repairs, no problem, we will buy it in
it's present condition. Even if you owe more than your house is worth,
and you can be flexible, we may still be able to purchase your property
using one of our debt relief programs. We also have the ability to work
with your lender to achieve a "short sale" if your lender is willing.
Call us first to sell your Wildwood house fast!
The satisfaction of your need for speed when selling your house depends
on several key factors, the most important of which is the current
market. Though you have no control over whether the market is hot or
cold, it's a good idea to be at least cognizant of how fast other homes
are moving so that you can act appropriately to get your house ready to
sell.
In a buyer's market, when there are more homes for sale than there are
buyers, you'll have to work extra hard to promote your house over the
competition. A seller's market, on the other hand, puts you in the
driver's seat, and there's less work to do. It has been some time
though, since we have seen a sellers market. But don't let that bother
you. You can sell your Wildwood house fast to HOUSE SOLD EASY!
Before you set the price, it's smart to walk in the shoes of a buyer.
Start by shopping online for local houses similar to yours. If your
house has four bedrooms, a brand new kitchen and no backyard, that's
exactly what you should look for. Don't be tempted to include houses
that have features yours doesn't, because that's the kind of stinkin'
thinkin' that starts sellers down the road to overpricing. It really
does make a difference that your house only has two baths when the other
has three.
Next, invite three competitive brokers in to see your home and estimate
its value. Ask them this simple question: "What would I have to price my
home at if I wanted to sell it in 30 days?" This is the surefire way to
get the brokers' gut reactions based on what's happening in the market
right now. Even the best brokers feel pressured to flatter the seller
when asked to price a home, but the truth is the broker who gives the
lowest price is always right. Sell your Wildwood MO house quick!
Take out your list of the comparable homes you found online and pull out
the five least expensive. Average only those along with the three broker
estimates given for your house. Now, price your home 10 to 15 percent
lower than the number you get. I know, I know, you think I'm crazy. I'm
not. Don't ever be afraid of underpricing your home, because market
forces always correct an underpriced property. It's called a bidding
war, and you'll be smiling when it starts.
You should also spend a couple of weekends visiting neighborhood open
houses. It will give you an instant education in what not to do when
marketing your own home. You'll see that the most important change to
make is to get rid of all your clutter. You can sell your Wildwood house
fast by calling HOUSE SOLD EASY Stuff makes homes look smaller, and buyers just
can't see past clutter. They can't picture themselves living there. Pack
and store two-thirds of your things, including your furniture.
With prices falling so far so fast in the residential real estate
market, homeowners these days are looking to eke out as much profit as
they can from the sale of their home. Sell your Wildwood house fast to
HOUSE SOLD EASY!
By cutting out the middle man and selling your home yourself, you could
walk away with tens of thousands of dollars more in your pocket. It just
takes a little marketing know-how and a lot of entrepreneurial spirit.
A lot of people who are selling right now are doing so because they're
changing jobs or changing lifestyles and they're selling by owner
because they know it's going to immediately save them 5-6 percent on
commission costs. In today's market, where prices have dropped by double
digits in some cases, the cost of using a realtor is that much more
expensive." You can also call HOUSE SOLD EASY to sell your Wildwood house fast!
Indeed, without a real estate agent you could lower your asking price by
up to 6 percent to comparable listings in your community and help sell
your house faster.
Better yet, leave your price on par and pocket the commission that would
normally go to the realtor. (On a $350,000 house, a 6-percent commission
is $21,000.

Here's your lesson for the week. In this video I've decided to move onto a new tune also in the Carter Family style of playing/picking entitled "Bury Me Beneath The Willow."
This is another popular fiddle-tune that goes well with "Wildwood Flower" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZnkmYZvu7A & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZuxPuvUNOM) and is a great one to utilize all the licks we've been covering in "Wildwood Flower" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWAT3RYQk1Q).
There are a couple of extras I've thrown in as well such as a new "extension" of the G run as well as a great chord to substitute for the C7.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. Here's hoping you learn something new that will help you along your journey.
Note: "Bury Me Beneath the Willow" was collected in folk version by H. M. Belden, 1909, in Missouri, title "Under the Willow Tree." The song is widespread and in many collections (http://mudcat.org/thread.cfm?threadid=116137).

Part of the Gordon McCann Ozarks Fiddle Music Collection at Missouri State University's Special Collections and Archives.
This is tape 2 side A of the series of tapes recorded on April 10, 1976, in Art Galbraith home, Springfield, Missouri. The artists are Gordon McCann and Art Galbraith. According to Gordon McCann's notes, the two had just met, and this was the first time he and Galbraith had played together. McCann goes on to say that in the recordings, Galbraith explains the different kinds of tuning, and the different keys to play. McCann states that much of this tape is Galbraith teaching him the tunes and where to go on the guitar. This was only the second time that McCann had ever played one-on-one with a fiddler.
According to Gordon McCann's notes, this tape has much of the same content. "Lots of talk about chords, quarter notes, modulating, reels, hornpipes, etc."
Galbraith on fiddle, McCann on guitar.
1. "Wildwood Flower" (in the key of C)
2. "Give the Fiddler a Dram" (in G)
3. "Blue Mule" (in G)
4. "Flop Eared Mule" (in G & D)
5. "Lonesome Indian" (in D)
6. "Billy in the Lowground" (in C)
7. "Sally Goodwin" (in A)
8. "Bill Cheathum" (in A)
9. "Cotillion in A" (in A)

Part of the Gordon McCann Ozarks Folk Music Collection at Missouri State University's Special Collections and Archives.
This is tape 1 side B of the recording entitled Emanuel Wood's Ozark Opry, recorded on the square in Ozark, Missouri. The musicians would sit in a circle in the front of a large empty storefront and play.
According to Gordon McCann's notes, "Present: Emanuel Wood- fiddle, Carrie Posey - electric guitar, John Osborne- guitar, Gordon McCann- guitar, Bye Kelly- Bass, and others.. Some came and went."
1. Carrie Posey- electric guitar: "San Antonio Rose" (in C & G), "Mockingbird Hill" (in C)
2. (Unknown first name) Jacobsmeyer- banjo: "Breakdown" (in A)
3. Emanuel Wood- fiddle: "Dixie Blossoms" (in G), "Uncle Joe" (in G)
4. Carrie Posey- electric guitar: "Wildwood Flower" (in C)
McCann's notes say that the entire group play this next song:
5. Group: "Just Because" (in C)
6. Carrie Posey- electric guitar: "Frankie and Johnny" (in C)
7. Emanuel Wood- fiddle: "Flop Eared Mule" (in G & D)
According to Gordon McCann's notes, the bass playing and singing in this next song was performed by Bye Kelly, he was the only black man living in Ozark, Missouri. He was probably the most knowledgeable and perhaps the best musician that came to the Opry. He was in his late 70's at the time of this recording.
8. Emanuel Wood- fiddle, and Bye Kelly- singing and bass: "When the Saints Come Marching In" (in G)
The notes do not say whether or not the next two songs were performed by Emanuel Wood and Bye Kelly, or by someone else.
9. ?: "Paddy Won't You Drink Some Good Ole' Cider?" (in D)
McCann's notes state that Posey's guitar was so loud that the lead instrument cannot be heard very well.
10. ?: "Turkey In The Straw" (in G)
11. (Unknown first name) Jacobsmeyer- banjo: "Boil Them Cabbage Down" (in A)
According to Gordon McCann's notes, Carrie Posey's guitar didn't used to be loud, but she soon started turning her amplifier up to where she was louder than the lead instruments. He also tells of a man named Donny Smith coming to the Opry, he then began turning his amplifier up so he could be louder than Posey. Gordon calls this attempt to out-do one another the "War of the Amps."
McCann goes on to say that many of the musicians that came to the Opry didn't know many chords on their instruments. So when someone would play a song they did not know, they would attempt to imitate someone else causing them to be a few beats behind. McCann says that this created a "roar" on the recording. But he says it was a very fun place, especially if you were a people watcher.
