Teenagers arrested for throwing chicken in bonfire, sheriff says

Two juveniles were arrested for animal cruelty after allegedly dousing a chicken with gasoline and throwing it in a bonfire on Camano Island, according to Island County Sheriff Mark Brown.

At least one injured after car runs red light, strikes SUV in Oak Harbor

At least one person was injured in a car crash on Highway 20 at Erie Street in Oak Harbor at about 2 p.m. today. Traffic is snarled on the section of highway as police, firefighters and medics respond to the scene. Cars are being routed around the accident.
