The Pink Panther is a series of comedy films featuring an inept French police detective, Inspector Jacques Clouseau. The series began with the release of The Pink Panther (1963). The role of Clouseau was originated by, and is most closely associated with, Peter Sellers. Most of the films were directed and co-written by Blake Edwards, with theme music composed by Henry Mancini.
In the films, the Pink Panther is a large and valuable pink diamond which is first shown in the opening film in the series. The diamond is called the "Pink Panther," because the flaw at its center, when viewed closely, is said to resemble a leaping pink panther. The phrase reappears in the title of the fourth film The Return of the Pink Panther, in which the theft of the diamond is again the center of the plot. The phrase was used for all the subsequent films in the series, even when the jewel did not figure in the plot. It ultimately appeared in six of the eleven films.
The first film in the series had an animated opening sequence, created by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises and set to the theme music by Mancini, which featured the Pink Panther character. This character, designed by Hawley Pratt and Friz Freleng, was subsequently the subject of its own series of animated cartoons which gained its highest profile when aired on Saturday mornings as The Pink Panther Show. The character would be featured in the opening of every film in the movie series except A Shot in the Dark and Inspector Clouseau.
Pink is a pale red color, which takes its name from the flower of the same name. According to surveys in Europe and the United States, pink is the color most often associated with love, beauty, charm, politeness, sensitivity, tenderness, sweetness, childhood, femininity, and the romantic. When combined with violet or black, it is associated with eroticism and seduction.
Pink was first used as a color name in the late 17th century.
The color pink takes its name from the flowers called pinks, members of the genus Dianthus.

Mr. Bean is a British sitcom created by Rowan Atkinson and Richard Curtis, and starring Atkinson in the title role. Atkinson co-wrote all fifteen episodes with either Curtis, Robin Driscoll, or both, with Ben Elton co-writing the pilot. Thirteen of the episodes were broadcast on ITV, from the pilot on 1 January 1990, until "Goodnight Mr. Bean" on 31 October 1995. A clip show, "The Best Bits of Mr. Bean", was broadcast on 15 December 1995, and one episode, "Hair by Mr. Bean of London", was not broadcast until 2006 on Nickelodeon.
Based on a character originally developed by Atkinson while he was studying for his master's degree at Oxford University, the series follows the exploits of Mr. Bean, described by Atkinson as "a child in a grown man's body", in solving various problems presented by everyday tasks and often causing disruption in the process. Bean rarely speaks, and the largely physical humour of the series is derived from his interactions with other people and his unusual solutions to situations. The series was influenced by physical performers such as Jacques Tati and comic actors from silent films.

The completely wrecked school now has to try and put itself back in shape after the pink pupil's whirlwind visit. As for our furry friend, he becomes interested in a "resting craze" after all those painful exercises

A fruit fly attacks Pink's orchard. While watching television, the Pink Panther hears that a very strong and very destructive fruit fly has escaped and is on the loose. The fly is especially fond of apples, which the Panther is eating at the time of the announcement. After almost finishing the apple, the Panther discovers the fly on his apple, and tries every way he knows to catch him, hoping to return him to the Agricultural Experimental Center. At last, the fly is captured and the Panther mails him away. As he leaves the mailbox, he hears the buzzing of the fly, and turns to see the mailbox go off into the sky

He enters the airbase and closely examines an unattended plane. While no one is looking, he gets in the cockpit and manages to take off. After a wild ride to the stratosphere, performing daring aerial acrobatic feats, the Panther finally ejects himself, and in doing so attracts the attention of two military policemen, who immediately pursue him.
Pink ends up in hospital. The Pink Panther has an accident and is taken to a large hospital. Here, he has a feud with an automated hospital bed which results in another accident. When he switches charts with a fellow patient in order to get more food, he is taken into surgery by mistake. He insists, out of modesty, on bathing himself in bed, but the results are sad. When the blood pressure gauge on his arm is accidentally over inflated, he flies around the room. Cured, he is about to leave, but has another accident on the steps of the hospital.
