DIE CHOKING To Play Berserker Fest This Week + CD Version Of III Now Available

Philly grind trio, DIE CHOKING, continues to book more tour dates in their unrelenting campaign in support of their III LP, with piles of new shows booked well into the year.

Having just days ago returned their maiden tour of Europe, DIE CHOKING is already preparing to embark on another trek, this time to storm Detroit-based Berserker Fest III this weekend. They’ll hammer the audience at the opening night of Berserker alongside Conan, Cannabis Corpse, Black Tusk, Yautja this Friday, March 4th, followed by a house show in Lansing the following night before heading home.

March will see DIE CHOKING on a three-day stint with Fucking Invincible. April will have the band playing Useless Christ Fest 14 in their hometown with the likes of Birdflesh, Suffocation, Artificial Brain, Ramming Speed, and more, followed by a three-day run with Organ Dealer, and more. In May they’ll head out on a four-day mini-tour, three of the dates alongside Pyrrhon, followed by a hometown show supporting Rotten Sound and Ramming Speed, and then a newly-booked tree-day run with Snafu. DIE CHOKING will also play Earslaughter Fest Vol 1, Blood Rust II Fest, Full Terror Assault Fest, Rotten Fest, and much more throughout the remainder of 2016 with a plethora of new tour dates surrounding these festivals to be expected.

DIE CHOKING: Annihilating Drum Video Issued Via Cvlt Nation; Band Currently On Tour In Europe

While DIE CHOKING is currently embarked on their first European tour this week, an insane new session video with drummer Joshua Cohen has been released through Cvlt Nation. Showcasing some of the scene’s most creatively destructive percussion, Cohen and ripping bandmates, bassist/vocalist Paul Herzog and guitarist Jeffrey Daniels, here slay through multiple tracks from their unrelenting III LP.

DIE CHOKING began their first European venture in recent days, as the Grind Is The New Black tour sees them paired with Paris-based Department Of Correction for most of the month. Having already shredded through Paris, Roubaix, London, Bristol, and Newcastle, with Liverpool on the menu for tonight, the tour runs straight through the 27th, including a set at the first DeathFist Fest in Nantes.

DIE CHOKING’s III has been issued glowing accolades from international punk and metal press outlets and bewildered fans who have witnessed the trio deploying the LP’s ripping anthems live. III will now be issued on CD, the disc being made available on their European tour. DIE CHOKING Begins Grind Is The New Black European Tour This Week; Preorders for III CD Posted

Hypergrind trio DIE CHOKING will begin their first tour of Europe this week, kicking off Grind Is The New Black. The tour also marks the CD release of the band’s debut album III, being co-released between The Compound Recs and Selfmadegod Records.

Surrounding its initial deluxe vinyl release through The Compound Recs in October, DIE CHOKING’s III has been issued glowing accolades from international punk and metal press outlets and bewildered fans who have witnessed the trio deploying the LP’s ripping anthems live. DIE CHOKING‘s maiden overseas tour, Grind Is The New Black sees the band joining up with Paris-based Department Of Correction for their maiden overseas tour, with two weeks of shows beginning this Friday, February 12th, and running through the 27th, the shows heavily concentrated in the UK and France, and including a set at the first DeathFist Fest in Nantes.

Following the European tour, DIE CHOKING is also confirmed to take part in Berserker III Fest in Detroit, playing March 4th with Conan, Cannabis Corpse, Black Tusk and Yautja. Several additional tour dates with Fucking Invincible will follow the fest. April will see them on a Southeast mini-tour with Organ Dealer, taking part in Useless Christ Fest 14 in Philly with Birdflesh, Suffocation, and many more. May will have DIE CHOKING out on a mini-tour of New England with Pyrrhon, and July will see them raiding the Southeast again for Blood Rust II Fest in Asheville, North Carolina with the likes of Torch Runner, Prisoner, Empty Vessels, Bathe, Abacus, and others.

DIE CHOKING: Street Date For CD Version Of III Confirmed Through The Compound And Selfmadegod; Massive Winter/Spring Tour Schedule Forms

Philadelphia hypergrind trio, DIE CHOKING, has finalized the itinerary for their maiden European tour with Department Of Correction this February, coinciding with the CD release of their III debut LP. The band will tackle upstate New York this weekend, and has announced a ton of additional 2016 tour dates as well.

Surrounding its initial deluxe vinyl release through Earsplit’s The Compound Recs in October, DIE CHOKING’s III has been issued glowing accolades from international punk and metal press outlets and bewildered fans who have witnessed the trio deploying the LP’s ripping anthems live. III will now be issued on CD as the band raids Europe for the first time. From February 12th through the 27th, DIE CHOKING will partner with Paris-based Department Of Correction for a two-week tour across Europe, the shows heavily concentrated in the UK and France, and including a set at the first DeathFist Fest in Nantes. The CD version of III will be available exclusively to tour attendees on all dates, and then see public availability on February 26th, in Europe via Selfmadegod Records and in the US via The Compound Recs/Earsplit Distro.

DIE CHOKING plays Syracuse and Ithaca, New York this Saturday, January 8th and Sunday, January 9th, both shows with upstate grinders, Sulaco (ex-Brutal Truth, Napalm Death). The band also continues to book gigs through the first half of 2016, this week being confirmed to take part in Berserker III Fest in Detroit in early March, joining Macabre, Black Tusk, Yautja, Mutilation Rites, Conan, Voivod, Ghoul, Fucking Invincible and tons more. Several additional tour dates with Fucking Invincible will follow the fest, with several of them now booked through mid-March. DIE CHOKING is also working on an April Southeast mini-tour with Organ Dealer, and a May New England mini-tour with Pyrrhon.

NOLA-based hardcore punk miscreants, CLASSHOLE, who boast a colorful cast of ear bleeders from the likes of Eyehategod, Hawg Jaw, Outlaw Order, The Mystick Krewe Of Clearlight, Mountain Of Wizard, Mangina, Tirefire, haarp and more, released their self-titled debut via The Compound Recs in conjunction with band’s own Terror Cult imprint on January 1st. Already released in a limited vinyl run via Terror Cult, the CD edition comes as a four-panel digipak featuring an alternate layout and lyric liner, plus bonus video footage of the band performing live in NOLA.

DIE CHOKING Prepares For East Coast US Live Dates And European Tour With Department Of Correction Supporting III LP

In the smoldering wake of their III LP’s release through The Compound Recs, and widespread US tour actions, Philly hypergrinders DIE CHOKING are ready to hit the East Coast with two bursts of tour dates in preparation for their first European tour in February.

DIE CHOKING will take part in this year’s 305 Fest in Miami, Florida on December 12th, performing alongside the likes of D.R.I., Noisear, Lower Class Brats and many others, the show preceded by a gig in Asheville on the way down and Tallahassee after the fest, completing a three-day raid of the Southeast Coast. January sees the band headed north, with a pair of upstate New York shows in Syracuse and Ithaca with Sulaco on January 8th and 9th.

February will take DIE CHOKING to Europe for the very first time for a two-week tour with France’s Department Of Correction. Grind Is The New Black is set to run from February 12th through 27th, the tour heavily concentrated on the UK and France, and includes a set at the first DeathFist Fest in Nantes. The final few shows will be finalized in the next few days, but the rest of the routing has been revealed.

Additional DIE CHOKING tour dates with Pyrrhon, Organ Dealer and more are also in the works for the Spring of 2016.

The list of cities to get roasted on this run including Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Denver, Boise, Missoula, Portland, Richmond, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Kansas City and Pittsburgh, the melee instigating this Thursday, October 22nd and running through November 1st. Later that week, DIE CHOKING begins a regional stomp for III with release shows in Philadelphia, Bethlehem and Meadville, Pennsylvania and Brooklyn, New York, November 7th, 13th, 14th and 15th, respectively.
