Castellaneta is a city and comune in the province of Taranto, in the Puglia region of Southern Italy, about 40 km from Taranto. Located in a territory spanning from the Murgia to the Ionian Sea, characterized by numerous gravina ravines, it is part of the Comunità Montana della Murgia Tarantina (Tarentine Murgia Mountain Community).
Human settlements were present in the area since the Bronze Age (3rd-2nd millennium BC), and it was later probably settled by Sicels, Messapii and Iapyges. According to a theory, a fortified city (Castania in Latin) was founded in 550 and grew in size when the population of neighboring cities fled there from Saracen attacks. Other historians maintain instead that it was a Greek colony which existed until the 8th century. When the Saracens destroyed it, the inhabitants joined in a Castellum Unitum (United Castle) on the hills, whence the current name.
Whatever its origin, Castellaneta was conquered by the Normans in 1064, taken by Duke Robert of Taranto, who expelled its Byzantine inhabitants. At that time, probably, the episcopal see was created. In the 13th century Charles of Anjou turned it first into a fief, and later into a King's city.

Daniel Louis "Dan" Castellaneta (born October 29, 1957) is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, singer and screenwriter. Noted for his long-running role as Homer Simpson on the animated television series The Simpsons, he voices many other characters on The Simpsons, including Abraham "Grampa" Simpson, Barney Gumble, Krusty the Clown, Groundskeeper Willie, Mayor Quimby and Hans Moleman.
Born in Oak Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, Castellaneta started taking acting classes at a young age. He would listen to his father's comedy records and do impressions of the artists. After graduating from Northern Illinois University, Castellaneta joined Chicago's Second City in 1983, and performed with the troupe until 1987. He was cast in The Tracey Ullman Show, which debuted in 1987. The Tracey Ullman Show included a series of animated shorts about a dysfunctional family. Voices were needed for the shorts, so the producers decided to ask Castellaneta to voice Homer. His voice for the character started out as a loose impression of Walter Matthau, but later evolved into a more robust voice. The shorts would eventually be spun off into The Simpsons. Castellaneta has won four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance for his work on the show as well as an Annie Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in the Field of Animation in 1993. Castellaneta has co-written four episodes of The Simpsons with his wife Deb Lacusta.

Durante il prossimo viaggio in Abruzzo, tutti al Ristorante Il Signore delle Pecore a Pescara per assaggiare il celebre spiedino di carne abruzzese. La materia prima viene dai laboratori di famiglia (che si chiamano appunto "Il Signore delle Pecore") e per cuocere si usa il carbone. Arrosticini di carne e fegato. A Giovinazzo, c'è stato l'annuale appuntamento con i fuochi di Sant'Antonio Abate. Nel rispetto di una antica tradizione, sono divampati grandi falò intorno ai quali, nei caratteristici "pegnatìdde", sono state cucinate le "caprjéte" (grosse fave, ndr) e le succulente braciole fatte con carne di cavallo. È consuetudine offrire agli ospiti un piatto di caprjéte, accompagnate da olive verdi, ed un bicchiere di buon vino rosso. In tempi meno recenti, attorno a questi fuochi si improvvisavano musiche e balli popolari. Le ceneri dei falò, una volta, venivano sparse nei campi per invocare la protezione di Sant'Antonio. La Puglia si evolve, cresce e anche una meta ultra nota come Polignano a Mare può nascondere laboratori creativi e chic.
In via Roma c’è Pescaria, non saprei come definirlo. Potrebbe essere un fast food di mare, ma i piatti dello chef Lucio Mele vanno gustati lentamente e assaporati morso dopo morso.
Non è un ristornate, non è una trattoria è Pescaria. Un posto dove i panini si fanno gourmet.
L’idea è nata al proprietario di una pescheria, che voleva preparare dei panini con pesce
freschissimo, appena pescato per i turisti che affollano Polignano.
Poi l’incontro con lo chef, un incontro fortunato come quello che mette insieme la burrata e la tartare di gamberi e pesto. Oppure, se vi piace scoprire sapori nuovi vi consiglio il panino con cacio cavallo alla griglia, una insalata di pomodori pachino, caco mela, finocchi, fichi secchi, con gamberi crudi e romanella.
Non pensate solo ai panini, anche se arrivano a produrne non solo il pane, ma anche le salse. Vi piace la pasta, credo che lo chef prepari la lasagna ai frutti di mare più buona che io abbia mai mangiato (ho cercato un termine meno casereccio, ma non ve ne sono di più adatti).
Devo avvisarvi, la cucina dello chef Mele crea assuefazione. Ci sono stata un po’ di tempo fa, ma a pensarci mi viene ancora l’acquolina in bocca e la voglia di tornarci anche adesso.

Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix
Ep. 18: Agrabah
Difficulty: Critical
We leave the life of a pirate and enter the life of a thief in the world of Agrabah. Though we did save it back in KH1, things are a bit different now not to mention a bit more expansive. We find that Iago’s a changed man yet something’s amiss especially involving the lamp where Jafar has been kept. Although trying to convince the Peddler isn’t easy so we go to the Cave of Wonders. We do find the treasure after some fierce battles only for Pete to get involved, yet again.
Of course the boss fight isn’t hard since its actually two bosses: Blizzard and Volcanic Lord. One is weak to fire, the other is weak to Ice but you can use your keyblade to whack the heck out of them. Oh and this is the first time you see me go into Anti Form. It’s random but it occurs when you try using any of the different Drive Forms. It’s strong but can be dangerous. You can’t heal, you can’t use magic and you can’t gain experience either which stinks. If you ever do use it, be warned. You’re going to be in for some trouble. One last thing though… there’s a trophy that requires you to use Anti Form twelve times. No joke.
Beating this world gives us the Lamp Charm allowing us to summon Genie whenever we want. Next episode has us going straight for the world of Halloween Town.

A Giovinazzo, c'è stato l'annuale appuntamento con i fuochi di Sant'Antonio Abate.
Nel rispetto di una antica tradizione, sono divampati grandi falò intorno ai quali, nei caratteristici "pegnatìdde", sono state cucinate le "caprjéte" (grosse fave, ndr) e le succulente braciole fatte con carne di cavallo.
È consuetudine offrire agli ospiti un piatto di caprjéte, accompagnate da olive verdi, ed un bicchiere di buon vino rosso. In tempi meno recenti, attorno a questi fuochi si improvvisavano musiche e balli popolari.
Le ceneri dei falò, una volta, venivano sparse nei campi per invocare la protezione di Sant'Antonio.
E la giornata di ieri, come ci ricorda il detto popolare dialettale «Sand'Andunje mascechere e sune», è anche coincisa con il primo giorno del periodo carnevalesco.

Treehouse of Horror
In this trilogy of horror-themed Halloween stories, Bart and Lisa attempt to scare each other with tales of macabre. Homer Jay Simpson is a cartoon character in the animated television series The Simpsons as the patriarch of the eponymous family. He is voiced by Dan Castellaneta and first appeared on television, along with the rest of his family, in The Tracey Ullman Show short "Good Night" on April 19, 1987. Homer was created and designed by cartoonist Matt Groening while he was waiting in the lobby of James L. Brooks' office. Groening had been called to pitch a series of shorts based on his comic strip Life in Hell but instead decided to create a new set of characters. He named the character after his father, Homer Groening. After appearing for three seasons on The Tracey Ullman Show, the Simpson family got their own series on Fox that debuted December 17, 1989.

Dear Internet, now we move on to the Coliseum and Agrabah. And of course somehow Pete gets involved haha the Coliseum this time around was my favorite world in Re: Coded. It was basically a maze you had to go through and the boss battles here with Cerberus and Hades took the form of a classic turn-based RPG just like the Final Fantasy games (also funny how all it takes is a shoulder smash to take out Hades haha). But oh noes! Sora gets a major setback. Enjoy!
