Osvaldo Civirani (19 May 1917 - 20 February 2008) was an Italian director, producer, cinematographer and screenwriter.
Born in Rome, the son of a photographer, Civirani started his career in 1943, as still photographer on the set of Luchino Visconti's Ossessione. After some experiences as cinematographer and assistant director, notably for Federico Fellini, Roberto Rossellini, Alessandro Blasetti and Carlo Lizzani, and after directing the mondo film Sexy proibitissimo, he made his feature film debut in 1964, with the sword-and-sandal film Hercules Against the Sons of the Sun. He directed 20 films of various genre, retiring in 1976.
