Checkmate

Checkmate (Persian: كيش و مات ، kish-o-mat Means King is Defeated) (often shortened to mate) is a game position in chess (and in other board games of the chaturanga a word with persian origin: چترنگ Chatrang family) in which a player's king is in check (threatened with capture) and there is no way to remove the threat. Checkmating the opponent wins the game.

In chess the king is never actually captured – the game ends as soon as the king is checkmated. In master and serious amateur play, most players resign an inevitably lost game before being checkmated, and it is considered bad etiquette to continue playing in a completely hopeless position.

If a player is not in check but has no legal move, then it is stalemate, and the game immediately ends in a draw. A checkmating move is recorded in algebraic notation using the hash symbol (#) – for example, 34.Qh8#.

Examples

A checkmate may occur in as few as two moves with all of the pieces still on the board (as in Fool's mate, in the opening phase of the game), in a middlegame position (as in the 1956 game called the Game of the Century between Donald Byrne and Bobby Fischer), or after many moves with as few as three pieces in an endgame position.

Arya 2

Arya 2 (IPA: [[ɑːrja]-2]; Telugu: ఆర్య-2, Ārya-2) is a 2009 Telugu action comedy romance film directed by Sukumar, and is a follow-up to the actor's and the director's previous successful film, Arya. Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal play the lead roles while Navdeep and Shraddha Das play supporting rolesSukumar, who directed the original, directed this film as well. The film's music is by Devi Sri Prasad. Aditya Babu and Bhogavalli Prasad produced the film under the Aditya Arts banner. Bharat Jadhav is an theatre and film producer in India. He is known as a comedian, particularly when working in commercial Marathi cinema and drama. His play Sahi re Sahi is one of the most successful Marathi plays ever. He has also starred in Shreemant Damodarpant, All the Best, and Aamchya Sarkhe Aamhich. He got special appreciation from audience for dance in movie Jatra on Kombadi Palali song.

The movie was box office hit and was first hit for Ankush for 2015. In August his romantic drama film Double Seat released opposite Mukta Barve and directed by Sameer Vidwans. It got tremendous positive reviews from critics and viewers. The movie become one of the highest grossers of 2015 for marathi cinema. In October his action crime thriller Daagdi Chaawl releases opposite Pooja Sawant and directed by debutant Chandrakant Kanse. Movie got positive reviews from critics and tremendous response from fans. Movie completed hatrick of blockbuster film for 2015 for Ankush. Movie becomes rage among maharashtrian people for its fast paced speed and action, they gave ankush a Rajnikant style treatment for his Hatrick. This is first time in the history of Marathi cinema that something of this sort has happened. After the release of the action-drama 'Daagdi Chaawl', fans of Marathi cinema's action hero Ankush Choudhary poured milk on a big poster of the actor outside a iconic Bharat Mata cinema hall in Mumbai to show their love for him.
