The lenses I use are coloured contacts, NOT for my vision. They're meant for cosplaying, dressing up or just a one-off. They are not meant to be worn constantly.
You should ALWAYS check with an optician before purchasing lenses just to make sure they're ok.
If you have a history of eye problems, if your eyes are different shapes, of if the lenses just don't feel right DO NOT USE THEM.
Always keep your tools clean. I always wash the tweezers after using them and make sure that the lens cases are super clean.

Just as a precaution I'm going to paste the FAQ's from the contact lens company I buy my lenses from:
Soak your Funky Eyes in solution for at least 2 hours before wearing them.
PLEASE DO NOT OVERWEAR.
On the first day, wear for no more than 4 hours, you may then increase this by 2 hours each day but never wear them overnight.

A: No if you wear contacts to correct your vision you will need to purchase prescription colour or pattern contact lenses from your optician.

Well, we thought we'd answer that question in this video by asking two very different photographers to show us what they're like. Are circle lens dangerous? How safe are your eyes with any contact lens? The story of how I lost my eyesight for a bit.
This is the video that I've been wanting to make for three years. I get a lot of emails about what happened to me. And so I've finally gotten the courage to make this video as a follow up from my blog post. For the record, I don't think wearing circle lenses is unsafe. I think there are special case scenarios like mine with any type of lens.
Timeline of what happened to me:
1. Wore circle lenses for a bajillion years without problem
2. Got sponsored lenses that I haven't worn before
3. Wore them for a few months
4. Noticed my eyesight getting blurry
5. Wrote it off as allergies. Ignored it
6. Eyes started getting light sensitivity and red
7. Goes to general practitioner
8. Gets steroid eyedrops. stops wearing lenses for a little bit
9. Continues wearing circle lenses after eyes feel better
10. Eyes deteriorate more. Blurry double vision starts
11. Goes to cornea specialist. Runs tests.
12. Stops wearing contacts altogether
13. Spirals into depression
14. After 4 months to a year, scars have disappeared. Wears contact lenses under heavy super vision
15. a year - a year and a half later full recovery
Also realized in the video I said it took a year for me to start wearing contacts again.. it was more like half a year? I dont remember but it was a really long time to full recovery.

"Choose the right" is a saying or motto among members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) that is taught to children and used by members of the church as a reminder to act righteously. The phrase is taken from an LDS hymn which has that title.
The letters CTR, a reference to this phrase, are incorporated into a shield logo designed by Helen Alldredge, a Primary General Board member in the 1960s. In 1970, a church committee headed by Naomi W. Randall recommended that the shield be incorporated into official church material. Since then, both the phrase and symbol have been used in religious educational materials for LDS youth of Primary age. The symbol is also used in LDS culture by members of all ages, both as a reminder of the motto, as well as an indicator of religious affiliation. Are circle lens dangerous? How safe are your eyes with any contact lens? The story of how I lost my eyesight for a bit. This is the video that I've been wanting to make for three years. I get a lot of emails about what happened to me. And so I've finally gotten the courage to make this video as a follow up from my blog post. For the record, I don't think wearing circle lenses is unsafe. I think there are special case scenarios like mine with any type of lens. Timeline of what happened to me: 1. Wore circle lenses for a bajillion years without problem 2. Got sponsored lenses that I haven't worn before 3. Wore them for a few months 4. Noticed my eyesight getting blurry 5. Wrote it off as allergies. Ignored it 6. Eyes started getting light sensitivity and red 7. Goes to general practitioner 8. Gets steroid eyedrops. stops wearing lenses for a little bit 9. Continues wearing circle lenses after eyes feel better 10. Eyes deteriorate more. Blurry double vision starts 11. Goes to cornea specialist. Runs tests. 12. Stops wearing contacts altogether 13. Spirals into depression 14. After 4 months to a year, scars have disappeared. Wears contact lenses under heavy super vision 15. a year - a year and a half later full recovery Also realized in the video I said it took a year for me to start wearing contacts again.. it was more like half a year? I dont remember but it was a really long time to full recovery. They're meant for cosplaying, dressing up or just a one-off. They are not meant to be worn constantly. You should ALWAYS check with an optician before purchasing lenses just to make sure they're ok. If you have a history of eye problems, if your eyes are different shapes, of if the lenses just don't feel right DO NOT USE THEM. Always keep your tools clean. The lenses I use are coloured contacts, NOT for my vision. They're meant for cosplaying, dressing up or just a one-off. They are not meant to be worn constantly.
You should ALWAYS check with an optician before purchasing lenses just to make sure they're ok.
If you have a history of eye problems, if your eyes are different shapes, of if the lenses just don't feel right DO NOT USE THEM.
Always keep your tools clean. I always wash the tweezers after using them and make sure that the lens cases are super clean.

Soak your Funky Eyes in solution for at least 2 hours before wearing them.
PLEASE DO NOT OVERWEAR.
On the first day, wear for no more than 4 hours, you may then increase this by 2 hours each day but never wear them overnight.
DO NOT share this product
DO NOT let this product dry out.
DO NOT wear or use our products if damaged.
DO dispose of this product 30 days after opening.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.
Q : How do I put them in?
A : The product comes with detailed instructions.
Q : Is it hard to put in?
A : We provide simple to follow instructions on the product.
Q : How long do they last?

Are circle lens dangerous? How safe are your eyes with any contact lens? The story of how I lost my eyesight for a bit.
This is the video that I've been wanting to make for three years. I get a lot of emails about what happened to me. And so I've finally gotten the courage to make this video as a follow up from my blog post. For the record, I don't think wearing circle lenses is unsafe. I think there are special case scenarios like mine with any type of lens.
Timeline of what happened to me:
1. Wore circle lenses for a bajillion years without problem
2. Got sponsored lenses that I haven't worn before
3. Wore them for a few months
4. Noticed my eyesight getting blurry
5. Wrote it off as allergies. Ignored it
6. Eyes started getting light sensitivity and red
7. Goes to general practitioner
8. Gets steroid eyedrops. stops wearing lenses for a little bit
9. Continues wearing circle lenses after eyes feel better
10. Eyes deteriorate more. Blurry double vision starts
11. Goes to cornea specialist. Runs tests.
12. Stops wearing contacts altogether
13. Spirals into depression
14. After 4 months to a year, scars have disappeared. Wears contact lenses under heavy super vision
15. a year - a year and a half later full recovery
Also realized in the video I said it took a year for me to start wearing contacts again.. it was more like half a year? I dont remember but it was a really long time to full recovery.
