Yin Yang Yo!

Yin Yang Yo! is an American/Canadian flash animated television series created by Bob Boyle II (also the creator of Nick Jr. original series Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!) and produced by Jetix Animation Concepts. It is the third Jetix-original show. It premiered on September 4, 2006 on Jetix in the United States with a sneak peek airing on August 26, 2006. The show debuted on Jetix in the United Kingdom on February 5, 2007 after a sneak peek preview on January 27, 2007 while making its Canadian television premiere on Family Channel on March 25, 2007. The series is supplied with writers and animators' staff associated with Fairly OddParents, 6teen, Clone High and Danny Phantom. Head writer Steve Marmel, an anime fan, took an inspiration from various anime and anime-influenced shows such as Teen Titans and FLCL. stars two anthropomorphic rabbits named Yin and Yang, and their sensei-like panda figure named Yo, a master of fictional mystical martial arts called Woo Foo.

In 2007, the show was nominated for British Academy Children's Award by the BAFTA in the International category, but lost to Stephen Hillenburg's SpongeBob SquarePants. From its launch in June 1, 2011 to late 2012, Disney XD Canada aired re-runs of the series.

Mastermind (EP)

Mastermind is the third mini-album by South Korean boy band Beast, and was released by Cube Entertainment on September 30, 2010. The lead single "Soom" is composed by Shinsadong Tiger and Choi Gyusung with lyrics written by both the composers, Rado and member Yong Junhyung. The song "Break Down" is created by Lim Sanghyuk and Lee Joohyung.

The song "Mastermind", just like the title of the album, served as the intro track with the word meaning, “someone who can control other object with ease.” It has the hidden meaning of Beast wanting to remove the rookie image and state of the public that they want to show their own style of music.

History

On September 16, 2010, Cube Entertainment announced that Beast would be revealing a ballad-R&B single from their third album prior to Beast's comeback. On September 17 at 10 AM KST, "Jumeogeul Kkwak Jwigo" was revealed on an online music site. "Jumeogeul Kkwak Jwigo" rose up to first place on various music sites.

On September 24 at 10 AM KST, a teaser video for the lead single "Soom" was released on Beast's official homepage and other various online portal sites. The visit from the fans waiting for the release of the video of Beast's comeback caused an amount of traffic that caused the server to go down for a moment. In the teaser, member Yong Jun Hyung was seen lying on the ground where Son Naeun, dressed in red, put on an oxygen mask for him and gains conscience. Other scenes in the teaser video showed Lee Gi Kwang and Jang Hyun Seung dancing and showing off their muscular builds in the rain.

Intro (Bravo Band album)

Intro (in Macedonian: Интро) is the debut album by the Macedonian male group Bravo Band. The album was released in October 2008 and it contains nine songs which are different by style.

Production history

The first single released from the album was "Lesno Ti E Tebe" ("It's easy for you") in 2006. With that song the band first promoted their self as a music group on the Macedonian festival Ohrid Fest. The song is work of Jovan Jovanov and Elvir Mekic which made their second single too called "Ne Bih Te Menjao" ("I wouldn't change you"). "Ne Bih Te Menjao" is a Serbian language song and it was the band's entry for Suncane Skale 2007. With this song they finished third in the first night with 63 points. The video for the song "Neka Patam" made by Dejan Milicevic was selected for best Macedonian video of 2008. In October all since then present songs they released on an album. The album is called Intro mainly for two reasons. The first one is the word intro which comes from the English word "introduction". It is just a metaphor for what they present in it, an introduction of their emotions which are in one way or another expressed in every song.

Free: The Future of a Radical Price

Free: The Future of a Radical Price is the second book written by Chris Anderson, Editor in chief of Wired magazine. The book was published on July 7, 2009 by Hyperion. He is also the author of The Long Tail, published in 2006.

Overview

Free follows a thread from the previous work. It examines the rise of pricing models which give products and services to customers for free, often as a strategy for attracting users and up-selling some of them to a premium level. That class of model has become widely referred to as "freemium" and has become very popular for a variety of digital products and services.

Release

Free was released in the United States on July 7, 2009, though the night before, on his blog, Chris Anderson posted a browser readable version of the book and the unabridged audiobook version. Anderson generated controversy for plagiarizing content from the online encyclopedia Wikipedia in Free. Anderson responded to the claim on his The Long Tail blog, stating that there were disagreements between him and the publisher over accurate citation of Wikipedia due to the changing nature of its content, leading him to integrate footnotes into the text. Also on his blog, he took full responsibility for the mistakes and noted that the digital editions of Free were corrected. The notes and sources were later provided as a download on his blog.
