Mick Tucker
Michael Thomas "Mick" Tucker (17 July 1947, Harlesden, North West London – 14 February 2002) was an English musician, best known as the drummer and backing vocalist of the glam rock band,Sweet.
Biography
Mick Tucker was born on July 17, 1947 in Harlesden, London, England as Michael Thomas Tucker, Son of Hubert Tucker. He was married twice Pauline until her death in 1979 and Janet to his death. Some sources site his birth as 17 July 1949 most say it is 1947. He died on February 14, 2002 in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England.
Personal life
On 16 August 1973, he married his first wife, Pauline, at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Ruislip, Middlesex. They then moved into a house in Beverley Road, Ruislip.
In the basement Mick Tucker installed a sound studio. He also had a music room with silver and gold albums awarded from all over the world on the walls.
Bands
By the age of 19 (1965) he had embarked on a career in pop music, playing around pubs and clubs in a band called "Wainwright's Gentlemen" and was later joined by vocalist Brian Connolly playing a mixture of R&B, Motown, and early psychedelic sounds. The band split in 1968. There are a number of recordings in existence including a cover of The Coasters/The Hollies hit "Ain't That Just Like Me" which was officially released in February 2011 on a compilation CD "Rare Mod, Volume 3" on the Acid Jazz label (AJXCD 238). The track features Tucker on drums and, according to band bassist Jan Frewer, is thought to have been recorded in 1965.

The Tucker County Animal Shelter is a "NO KILL" shelter funded partly by the county. Cathy Parsons the shelter director works full time and has three part time workers. Foster Thompson a.k.a. the cat whisperer works in the cat kennel. Henry Thompson works in the dog kennel through a senior program and Barbara Bish also works as a part time employee in the dog kennel. Cynthia Humphrey volunteers in the cat kennel regularly and helps with scheduling and donation drives. This Means War is the third album by British heavy metal band Tank, released in 1983. On this album, the line-up expanded to a four-piece, with the addition of second guitarist Mick Tucker, former member of the NWOBHM band White Spirit. Thanks to Tucker's songwriting contributions and to the sound expanded by an extra guitar, the band changed their music in comparison with their previous albums with longer, more melodic compositions, which helped differentiate Tank from Motörhead, the band they were often compared to.Tank is a British heavy metal band, formed in 1980 by Algy Ward, a former member of The Damned. The band is known as part of the new wave of British heavy metal movement. Tank was often compared to Motörhead as both bands, trios fronted by singing bassists, played a loose, almost punk-styled metal music with often colourful lyrics.

The engineer who was at the controls during the tragic train crash on Thursday morning was a veteran of the industry with 29 years of experience named Thomas Gallagher, according to The Star Tribune.
