Metro Balderas is an underground station on the Mexico City Metro. It is located in the Cuauhtémoc borough in the center of Mexico City. It is a transfer station along Lines 1 and 3. The station logo depicts the colonial-era cannon preserved on the nearby Plaza de La Ciudadela.
The cannon is a reminder of the days of the Decena Trágica (Tragical Ten), which was a period a little bit longer than 10 days in which a group rebelled against the government of Francisco I. Madero. This chapter would end when president Madero and vice-president Pino Suárez are killed, as well as the rise to the presidency of Victoriano Huerta.
Nearby Metro Balderas are some interesting places, like La Ciudadela market, filled with Mexican handicrafts, the José Vasconcelos Central Library of Mexico City, and facilities of broadcaster Televisa. Next to the library lies a tianguis (street market) full of books old and new, comics, collectibles, etc.
This station has an information desk and facilities for the disabled. It also displays a plaque unveiled on 19 September 2004, celebrating Mexican rock musician Rodrigo "Rockdrigo" González, killed exactly 19 years earlier in the 1985 Mexico City earthquake and composer of a song titled "Metro Balderas".
"Metro Balderas", as it is generally known, or for its original name, "Estación del metro Balderas" ("Balderas subway station"), is a song by Mexican rock musician Rodrigo "Rockdrigo" González, which refers to a man looking for a woman who got lost in the crowd at Mexico City Metro station Metro Balderas.
This song, along with other González' songs such as Distante instante and Balada del asalariado, can be found in the album Hurbanistorias, recorded in 1982. These songs are available online at González'official website.
Gonzalez had enormous influence on Mexican rock bands, such as El Tri and Botellita de Jerez; his songs have been recorded many times, especially after his death.
In 2003, a tribute album was recorded by the name "Ofrenda a Rockdrigo" ("An offer to Rockdrigo"). A plaque on Balderas subway station was placed on September 19, 2004 to remember Rockdrigo on the nineteenth anniversary of his death, at 34, when his apartment building collapsed during the big earthquake of 1985 in Mexico City.

El Tri is a Mexican rock band from Mexico City fronted by Alex Lora. It is a spinoff of Three Souls in My Mind, formed in 1968. The group is regarded as influential in the development of Mexican rock music.
Over the years, El Tri's sound has touched on several different styles including rock, psychedelic rock, hard rock, acoustic rock, blues-rock, and blues. The group has enjoyed moderate success garnering numerous gold-certified albums in Mexico.
The name "Three Souls in My Mind" was initially chosen as a nod towards conventions for long band names in rock and roll. Originally composed of Alejandro Lora on bass Memo Berea lead guitar and lead vocals, Ernesto de Leon on lead guitar, and Carlos Hauptvogel on the drums, the band has been accompanied on some albums by Arturo Labastida on saxophone and Carlos Martinez on trumpet. Sergio Mancera also played guitar on some albums. They performed their first public engagement in October, 1968, and released 15 albums on the RAFF record label before officially changing their name and lineup in 1985.

mirada me hace sentir,
