We began our 'Kembara Umrah' by landing in Madinah Al Munawwarah, stayed in Mawaddah Al Safwa Hotel arrange by TH Travel crews, and completing our ziarah (inside & outside) for the first two days. We went for Miqat at Bir' Ali Mosque, and resume to be in Ihram state. 5 to 6 hours travelling by a very comfy bus provided by TH Travel, we finally reached Makkah Al-Mukarramah, check in at Al-Shoohada Hotel, and ready to perform our tawaf and sa'ie. Having completed the Tawaf, we proceeded to Safa and Marwa mounts to begin the second half of our umrah. On our last circuit between Safa and Marwa, we began to contemplate the final stage of `Umrah, which is the trimming of the hair for women, and for men, the shaving of the head — yes, “skin-head” style. While this procedure is not required, it is certainly recommended and adopted by many. We completed the rites of `Umrah within 2 hours. There's a nice spot with a view of the Ka`bah where we could rest against one of the many marble pillars. We sat back and contemplated life while watching the pilgrims going around the Ka`bah in Tawaf. We noticed the birds flying overhead. There was always at least one, and often a small flock would fly in synch around the Ka`bah, in very much the same way that people perform Tawaf. We observed many people clinging to the Ka`bah. From a distance we could see them crying, the tears rolling down their faces. We felt how every person has his or her own problems, dilemmas, issues that all need to be addressed. Before we departure from Makkah, we almost gave in to the temptation of touching the Ka'aba by performing our Tawaf Wada'. The sadness part when we finish the tawaf, and went to the Multazam and perform sunnah prayer and make du'a. "...aku hendak pulang Ya Allah," then we began to cry. Problems, complications, and people’s bad attitudes aside, even though I do not know when or where we will die or when and if we will reach 'SyurgaMu Ya Allah'. Straightaway to Jeddah Airport, we check our last point at Terminal Haji Jeddah before departing to KLIA and back to reality.
