People before Profit is represented in the Dail by Richard Boyd Barrett TD, Gino Kenny TD, and BrÃd Smith TD. We also have elected councillors in Dublin, Belfast, Sligo and Wexford. We do politics differently. We try to empower communities and unions. We see ‘people power’ as the way to bring change.

“People Before Profit will be running 18 candidates in the General Election. We offer a real alternative to a political establishment that is addicted to austerity. Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and Labour have all imposed cuts and water charges in the past and will continue to do so if they are returned to power.
People Before Profit will vote to abolish the water charges and the property tax. We will seek to reverse the cuts and make the wealthy pay their share of taxes. We will promote a strategy of ‘people power’ to bring real change to Ireland.” (Richard Boyd Barrett)
