Jon Stewart Defended Beyoncé and Schooled Mike Huckabee on "The Daily Show" Last Night

Mike Huckabee has been in the news a lot lately for his new book, God, Guns Grits, and Gravy, which includes numerous shots at Beyoncé. Last night, Huckabee made an appearance on The Daily Show for an interview with Jon Stewart, and as you might imagine, things didn't go so well for potential 2016 Presidential candidate. Huckabee tried to defend his stance on Beyoncé during the interview, and said she doesn't need to be vulgar to set trends and be a role model to young girls. "Do you know any parent who has a daughter who says, ‘Honey, if you make really good grades, someday when you’re 12 or 13 we’ll get you your own stripper pole?" That was beginning of the end for Huckabee, as Stewart promptly followed it with a clip of Hukcabee playing bass alongside Ted Nugent during a performance of "Cat Scratch Fever," a song about having sex with tons of women. Huckabee tried to defend the "adult song," but Stewart didn't put up with his shit. “You excuse that type of crudeness because you agree with his stance on firearms. You don’t approve of Beyonce because she seems alien to you,” Stewart said.
