Aftermath of Peshmerga forces vs ISIS

Peshmerganor's instagram: https://www.instagram.com/peshmerganor This incident took place the day after the battle for Teleskuf, where US Navy Seal Charles Keating IV lost his life. This footage is taken after one of the firefights with ISIS on the 4th of May this year, near Teleskuf, Iraq. A group of 20 Islamic State fighters who had taken part in the attack on the Christian town of Teleskuf the day before, had been observed in the tall grass on our side of the frontline, trying to cross and get back to their own territory. They were now boxed in between two fortified posts on the frontline and two Humvees who had driven up from behind. The general Wahed Kovle ordered one of the vehicles to drive forward slowly while he, Peshmerganor and two officers followed behind, using the Humvee as a shield. They started taking fire as we drove closer, but we still couldn’t see the enemy. The gunner on the Humvee had somewhat better overview and they started to open fire wherever he was firing at. However, they got close enough to see them and engage them directly soon. The distance was so close that they were throwing handgrenades at eachother and several hit their vehicle, bouncing of the armour and blowing up around them. Peshmerganor remembers one grenade went of right in front of the Humvee while he was standing three meters away, shielded by the hood. Those of them who ran out of ammunition, started to blow themselves up and they had pieces of them raining over them. A few made a run for it, but they cut them down before they were able to cross the berm. After taking out what they thought was all of them, other guys rushed to and they formed a line and started to walk forward and making sure they were all dead. One Peshmerga got on top of the berm and shouted someone was alive on the other side and fired his rifle. Peshmerganor and two others made a run for the berm over what they thought was solid ground… but they soon found themselves chest-deep in mud. Peshmerganor remembers crawling in the mud over pieces of human flesh and intestines, trying to keep his rifle dry. By the time he got up, the guys had allready started looting the corpses for weapons, ammunition, watches and other valuables. Peshmerganor figured he might as well find his phone and document the aftermath, as he hadn’t been able to film the firefight itself with the helmet camera. A single jihadist survived the attack and Peshmerganor provided medical care for him, even though the ISIS commander who were speaking with their general on the radio told them they could kill him for all he cared. The wounded fighter was handed over to kurdish intelligence afterwards. They had no casualties from this particular contact. Video contains extremely graphic scenes.
