Graphic design
Graphic design is the process of visual communication, and problem-solving through the correct use of typography, space, image and color.
The field is considered a subset of visual communication and communication design, but sometimes the term "graphic design" is used interchangeably with these due to overlapping skills involved. Graphic designers use various methods to create and combine words, symbols, and images to create a visual representation of ideas and messages. A graphic designer may use a combination of typography, visual arts and page layout techniques to produce a final result. Graphic design often refers to both the process (designing) by which the communication is created and the products (designs) which are generated.
Common uses of graphic design include identity (logos and branding), publications (magazines, newspapers and books), print advertisements, posters, billboards, website graphics and elements, signs and product packaging. For example, a product package might include a logo or other artwork, organized text and pure design elements such as images, shapes and color which unify the piece. Composition is one of the most important features of graphic design, especially when using pre-existing materials or diverse elements.

Graphic designer
A graphic designer is a professional within the graphic design and graphic arts industry who assembles together images, typography, or motion graphics to create a piece of design. A graphic designer creates the graphics primarily for published, printed or electronic media, such as brochures (sometimes) and advertising. They are also sometimes responsible for typesetting, illustration, user interfaces, web design, or take a teaching position. A core responsibility of the designer's job is to present information in a way that is both accessible and memorable.
Qualifications
A degree or certificate from an accredited trade school is usually considered essential for a graphic design position. After a career history has been established, though, the graphic designer's experience and number of years in the business are considered the primary qualifications. A portfolio, which is the primary method for demonstrating these qualifications, is usually required to be shown at job interviews, and is constantly developed throughout a designer's career.

Graphics
Graphics (from Greek γραφικός graphikos, 'something written' e.g. autograph) are visual images or designs on some surface, such as a wall, canvas, screen, paper, or stone to inform, illustrate, or entertain. Design
Design is the creation of a plan or convention for the construction of an object or a system (as in architectural blueprints, engineering drawings, business processes, circuit diagrams and sewing patterns). Design has different connotations in different fields (see design disciplines below). In some cases the direct construction of an object (as in pottery, engineering, management, cowboy coding and graphic design) is also considered to be design.
Designing often necessitates considering the aesthetic, functional, economic and sociopolitical dimensions of both the design object and design process. It may involve considerable research, thought, modeling, interactive adjustment, and re-design. Meanwhile, diverse kinds of objects may be designed, including clothing, graphical user interfaces, skyscrapers, corporate identities, business processes and even methods of designing.
Thus "design" may be a substantive referring to a categorical abstraction of a created thing or things (the design of something), or a verb for the process of creation, as is made clear by grammatical context.

I increased the length of the primary hull to be more symmetrical with the saucer section. The Main Deflector was redesigned. The Nacelle Pylons were moved back and increased on the "Z" Axis. The Nacelles were increased in length and designed to represent the Progression from the Ambassador Class. The result is a more balanced and aesthetically pleasing Star ship.

Saulfley was re-designated a DDE in 1949 and then an EDDE (experimental) and used for experimenting with new Sonar systems until 1962 when reclassified as a DD, then participating in the movie PT109 as well as the Blockade of Cuba. 2016 Mercedes-Benz C300 Test Drive - Giving it the Beans!
My friend Matt and I went up to the Orange County Auto Show today and for the first time, I saw Mercedes offering test drives at the auto show! I've been really wanting to get behind the wheel of the new re-designed C-Class. Unfortunately, they didn't have the C63 there, so I got behind the wheel of the brand new C300 Sport "AMG package". This car had a turbo charged inline 4 cylinder engine that had a decent amount of zip to it. You could really feel when the turbo kicked in around 2500-3000 rpm's and there was a minimal amount of turbo lag. The one thing I really did not like about the car was how the transmission worked. My friend Matt and I went up to the Orange County Auto Show today and for the first time, I saw Mercedes offering test drives at the auto show! I've been really wanting to get behind the wheel of the new re-designed C-Class. Unfortunately, they didn't have the C63 there, so I got behind the wheel of the brand new C300 Sport "AMG package". This car had a turbo charged inline 4 cylinder engine that had a decent amount of zip to it. You could really feel when the turbo kicked in around 2500-3000 rpm's and there was a minimal amount of turbo lag. The one thing I really did not like about the car was how the transmission worked. I decided to put the car in the full Sport + mode and the shifts were very quick, but there were a few instances where I revved out the car all the way until redline, and shifted just before redline, but the computer had already decided it was going to shift, so the shift I inputted on the paddle double shifted the car into 3rd gear. That is really due to the car not being a "true manual" and really more of a semi-automated manual. The brakes felt very good because they were the upgraded brakes with drilled rotors and the turning radius was very sharp as well. Every chance I had, I gave the car the beans (full throttle) and saw what that little 4 cylinder had to offer. The interior was also a huge favorite for me, lots of high quality materials and it really did feel like a "baby S-Class". My only gripe about the interior (and I talk about it in the video) is how the screen is just "stuck" onto the dash like an iPad. I wish they incorporated the screen into the dash more to give it a more aesthetically pleasing sleek design. The pride of the Russian navy is the Kirov Class battle cruiser warship. Some may say its the worst nightmare of the US Navy. The Kirov-class battlecruiser is a class of nuclear-powered warship of the Russian Navy, the largest and heaviest surface combatant warships (i.e. not an aircraft carrier or amphibious assault ship) currently in active operation in the world. Among modern warships, they are second in size only to large aircraft carriers, and of similar size to a World War I-era battleship. The official designation of the ship-type is "heavy nuclear-powered guided missile cruiser" (Russian: тяжёлый атомный ракетный крейсер), but because of their size and general appearance, the ships are often referred to as battlecruisers by western defense commentators.[3]
Originally built for the Soviet Navy, the class is named for the first of a series of 4 ships to be constructed, Kirov, which was renamed Admiral Ushakov in 1992. Original plans called for the construction of 5 ships, however the last was cancelled. In Russia this class of ship is usually referred to by the designation Project 1144 Orlan (sea eagle). Only the Pyotr Velikiy is currently operational. The Admiral Nakhimov is projected to re-enter the Russian Navy in 2018. Russia planned to reactivate the remaining two vessels by 2020,[2][4] but recent reporting suggests that the reactors in Ushakov and Lazarev are in a poor condition, and these ships cannot be safely reactivated.[5][6][7]
The appearance of the Kirov class played a key role in the recommissioning of the Iowa-class battleships by the United States Navy in the 1980s.[8][9][10]

The Tor installation is in fact mounted further forward of the old SS-N-14 mounting, in the structure directly behind the blast shield for the bow mounted RBU ASW rocket launcher. Kirov and Frunze had eight 30 mm (1.2 in) AK-630 close-in weapon systems, which were supplanted with[clarification needed] the Kashtan air-defence system on later ships.
