Three nations had united under the Great Law of Peace, but the Seneca and Onondaga remained outside it. Both nations relied on war for their power - but also for their safety. Hiawatha and the Peacemaker came to the Seneca expecting an argument, but Jigonsaseh had already convinced them since she was Seneca herself. All but two of the chiefs were ready, but those two chiefs feared what would happen if other nations brought war to their borders. The Peacemaker called a council to discuss their concern, but it quickly dissolved into in-fighting and arguments. To solve it, he established a bicameral legislature where each tribe had a turn to speak. Hiawatha joined the Mohawk and helped legislate a solution, putting the Mohawk and Seneca in charge of the borders with the authority to call the tribes together in war if outsiders threatened the confederacy. The envoys also agreed to follow his plan for Tadodaho. They returned to the Onondaga nation and offered to make Tadodaho their leader, with veto powers over every law. He immediately saw the potential to grow his power, but Jigonsaseh confronted him for his greed and cruelty and convinced him to use his power responsibly. With him, the Onondaga joined the Great Law of Peace. Now Jigonsaseh sat with the women's councils and selected the League representatives, for the women owned the council positions and chose the men who served in them. Those representatives met the Peacemaker on the shores of Onondaga Lake, where he demonstrated how a bundle of five arrows, like the five nations, could not be broken. Then he had them bury their weapons under a white pine tree guarded by an eagle. Those symbols would later be adopted by the United States, whose Founding Fathers studied the Great Law of Peace and adopted many of its principles into their own Constitution. The original Haudenosaunee League drafted laws based on the Peacemaker's teachings, creating a government that served the will of the people. Hiawatha commemorated each of these laws with a series of wampum belts, most notably the Hiawatha Belt which symbolized the five nations coming together in peace. The government they created has lasted for centuries, making it one of the longest lasting participatory democracies in the world.

The Turkish government is cracking down on suspected terrorist groups following the recent failed coup attempt in Turkey.
On Tuesday, Ankara sent Korea's foreign ministry a list of some ten organizations suspected to have links to the Fethullah Terrorist Organization,... a group the Turkish government claims was behind last month's uprising.
The Turkish government vowed to crush linked organizations in other countries as well... and has been demanding host nations shut down the groups on the delivered list.
Seoul's foreign ministry, however, said it hasn't taken any action as Turkey sent the list without filing a request to take certain measures.
The organizations on the list include educational institutions as well as private firms.

Canada is the most multi-cultural nation in the world, but our government has a dark history of mistreating and oppressing the First Nations people that leads back to the beginning of sovereignty. It is the direct cause for the health crisis First Nations are experiencing today. There is ignorance amongst many Canadians today, and if more people understood the true history of the First Nations people, I believe they would be outraged and we may finally see a rise in quality of life for First Nations people.

Kim Jong-Un's brother Kim Jong-Nam is known for bizarre behavior. In 2001 he was arrested in a Japanese airport on a fake Dominican passport under the name Pang Xiong which literally translates to "fat bear". He told authorities he was trying to go to Disneyland afterwhich he ended up being exiled to China. This is why Jim Jong Un is now the supreme leader instead.
Here's a fun fact about Kim: he went to boarding school in Switzerland where his classmates say he was obsessed with basketball but not very bright.
The North Korean military dug tunnels into South Korean territory. Before they got discovered they painted the sides of the tunnels black and claimed they were digging for coal.
In 1978 Kim Jong-Il kidnapped a South Korean film director in Hong Kong to jump start North Korea's film industry. The director managed to escape 8 years later during a film festival in Vienna.
The most famous film to be produced as a result of his kidnapping was a Godzilla ripoff called Pulgasari in which a small rice doll grows into a huge mythical creature that helps the peasants of the land overthrow their monarch. Kim Jong-Il was executive producer.
According to Kim Jong-Il's official biography he was born on Mount Paektu under a double rainbow as a new star appeared in the sky.
He also supposedly learned to walk at 3 weeks old, corrected his elementary school teachers while in class, and ended up writing over 1500 books.
Did we mention that he shot a 38 under par on the national golf course before retiring from the sport because he couldn't do any better. No wonder he's supreme leader.
Despite all this he was deathly afraid of flying and would only travel around the country in armored trains stopping at stations built specifically for him. One Russian diplomat described how he had lobster airlifted to his train everyday
Nearly a quarter million North Koreans live in prison camps surrounded by electrified fencing
All legal televisions are tuned to state-controlled domestic programming
North Korea has a vast network of informants who monitor their fellow citizens and report to authorities. Unauthorized access to TV broadcasts has been punished by execution.
The only internet is a closed domesting network although visitors are allowed 3G access
School children must provide their own desks and chairs. And the money to pay for heating.
North Korea gets most of its funding from providing weapons and narcotics to terror groups and rogue nations. It is also one of the largest counterfeiters of US dollar bills.

Brunei Darussalam is better known as just Brunei. This small nation in the south-east region of Asia is located off the north coast of the island of Borneo. It is extremely wealthy due to its natural resources. Its exports of petroleum and oil make for most of its wealth. In 2011, Brunei was one of the two countries which had 0% public debt.

It is believed that the government in Norway has designed such a good social welfare system, that it has given rise to a society where every individual is duly paid if he/she does their bit of work with perseverance. Cassius Clay, as he was then, was not so much a fighter for peace as a peaceable fighter who needed a reason to fight – and Vietnam was not that reason. He might have feared he could serve in Vietnam when registered 1-A for the draft in 1962, but thought little of it. He was, as Muhammad Ali, reclassified in 1964 as mentally unfit for duty when he failed an IQ test.
But the Army lowered the bar and he was back in the mix two years later, now the heavyweight champion of the world and the very public face of the Nation of Islam. Boxing authorities stripped him of his title in 1967 on the day he was convicted in just 21 minutes for resisting the draft. Now unemployed, but supported by a growing list of celebrities, he entered a three-year legal battle to stay out of prison, and won his appeal when the supreme court overturned the decision 8-0 in June 1971.
The gesture cost him an untold amount of money but consolidated his reputation as a man of principle, especially among younger war protesters. Did he really say any version of “I ain’t got no fight with no Vietnamese” or “Ain’t no Viet Cong called me nigger”? More than likely.t was the Nation of Islam, a group little known or understood at the time, who lurked in the background of Ali’s young life before he even turned professional after winning an Olympic gold medal in Rome in 1960. ut from the time Malcolm X began tutoring him in the teachings of Elijah Muhammad in 1962, he was a committed follower.
He famously changed his name, first to Cassius X then Muhammad Ali, before he fought Sonny Liston for the world title in Miami in February, 1964, but the promoter, Bill McDonald, persuaded him to delay the announcement until after the fight.
Soon after, Malcolm X was banished by the Nation, and assassinated in Harlem the following February. Did Ali know of the plot to kill his former friend? It has never been properly established. But they had certainly grown apart shortly after the all-American Olympic hero became a subtly controlled professional champion, and embarked on a new phase of his career.
He was fiercely proud of his religion and his new identity. “What’s my name?” became the boxer’s calling card in those turbulent years, and many an opponent suffered for their refusal to accept him as Ali.
Ali left the Nation of Islam in 1975, embracing Sunni Islam, and he retained his faith for the rest of his life. Clay/Ali certainly beat Sonny Liston on merit in their first fight. Whether or not the dethroned and ageing champion, notoriously a mob stooge, debt collector and ex-con, showed proper enthusiasm for getting up after Ali clipped him on the chin in the first round of their rematch in Lewiston, Maine, in 1965, is doubtful. Liston was quietly eased from the scene as an unwanted villain.
Now Ali was moving towards his physical peak. First Nations
The First Nations (French: Premières Nations) are the various Aboriginal Canadians who are neither Inuit nor Métis. There are currently 634 recognized First Nations governments or bands spread across Canada, roughly half of which are in the provinces of Ontario and British Columbia. Under the Employment Equity Act, First Nations are a "designated group", along with women, visible minorities, and people with physical or mental disabilities. First Nations are not defined as a visible minority under the Act or by the criteria of Statistics Canada.
Within Canada, "First Nations" (most often used in the plural) has come into general use—replacing the deprecated term "Indians"—for the indigenous peoples of the Americas. Individuals using the term outside Canada include supporters of the Cascadian independence movement as well as American tribes within the Pacific Northwest. The singular, commonly used on culturally politicized reserves, is the term First Nations person (when gender-specific, First Nations man or First Nations woman). A more recent trend is for members of various nations to refer to themselves by their tribal or national identity only, e.g., "I'm Haida," or "We're Kwantlens," in recognition of the distinctiveness of First Nations ethnicities.

Both nations relied on war for their power - but also for their safety. Hiawatha and the Peacemaker came to the Seneca expecting an argument, but Jigonsaseh had already convinced them since she was Seneca herself. All but two of the chiefs were ready, but those two chiefs feared what would happen if other nations brought war to their borders. The Peacemaker called a council to discuss their concern, but it quickly dissolved into in-fighting and arguments. To solve it, he established a bicameral legislature where each tribe had a turn to speak. Hiawatha joined the Mohawk and helped legislate a solution, putting the Mohawk and Seneca in charge of the borders with the authority to call the tribes together in war if outsiders threatened the confederacy. The envoys also agreed to follow his plan for Tadodaho. They returned to the Onondaga nation and offered to make Tadodaho their leader, with veto powers over every law. He immediately saw the potential to grow his power, but Jigonsaseh confronted him for his greed and cruelty and convinced him to use his power responsibly. With him, the Onondaga joined the Great Law of Peace. Now Jigonsaseh sat with the women's councils and selected the League representatives, for the women owned the council positions and chose the men who served in them. Those representatives met the Peacemaker on the shores of Onondaga Lake, where he demonstrated how a bundle of five arrows, like the five nations, could not be broken. Then he had them bury their weapons under a white pine tree guarded by an eagle. Those symbols would later be adopted by the United States, whose Founding Fathers studied the Great Law of Peace and adopted many of its principles into their own Constitution. The original Haudenosaunee League drafted laws based on the Peacemaker's teachings, creating a government that served the will of the people. Hiawatha commemorated each of these laws with a series of wampum belts, most notably the Hiawatha Belt which symbolized the five nations coming together in peace. The border between North Korea and South Korea is one of the most militarized in the world. Kim Jong-Un's brother Kim Jong-Nam is known for bizarre behavior. In 2001 he was arrested in a Japanese airport on a fake Dominican passport under the name Pang Xiong which literally translates to "fat bear". He told authorities he was trying to go to Disneyland afterwhich he ended up being exiled to China. This is why Jim Jong Un is now the supreme leader instead. Here's a fun fact about Kim: he went to boarding school in Switzerland where his classmates say he was obsessed with basketball but not very bright. The North Korean military dug tunnels into South Korean territory. Before they got discovered they painted the sides of the tunnels black and claimed they were digging for coal. In 1978 Kim Jong-Il kidnapped a South Korean film director in Hong Kong to jump start North Korea's film industry. The director managed to escape 8 years later during a film festival in Vienna. The most famous film to be produced as a result of his kidnapping was a Godzilla ripoff called Pulgasari in which a small rice doll grows into a huge mythical creature that helps the peasants of the land overthrow their monarch. Kim Jong-Il was executive producer. According to Kim Jong-Il's official biography he was born on Mount Paektu under a double rainbow as a new star appeared in the sky. He also supposedly learned to walk at 3 weeks old, corrected his elementary school teachers while in class, and ended up writing over 1500 books. Did we mention that he shot a 38 under par on the national golf course before retiring from the sport because he couldn't do any better. No wonder he's supreme leader. Despite all this he was deathly afraid of flying and would only travel around the country in armored trains stopping at stations built specifically for him. One Russian diplomat described how he had lobster airlifted to his train everyday Nearly a quarter million North Koreans live in prison camps surrounded by electrified fencing All legal televisions are tuned to state-controlled domestic programming North Korea has a vast network of informants who monitor their fellow citizens and report to authorities. Unauthorized access to TV broadcasts has been punished by execution. The only internet is a closed domesting network although visitors are allowed 3G access School children must provide their own desks and chairs. And the money to pay for heating. North Korea gets most of its funding from providing weapons and narcotics to terror groups and rogue nations. It is also one of the largest counterfeiters of US dollar bills. -

Cassius Clay, as he was then, was not so much a fighter for peace as a peaceable fighter who needed a reason to fight – and Vietnam was not that reason. He might have feared he could serve in Vietnam when registered 1-A for the draft in 1962, but thought little of it. He was, as Muhammad Ali, reclassified in 1964 as mentally unfit for duty when he failed an IQ test. But the Army lowered the bar and he was back in the mix two years later, now the heavyweight champion of the world and the very public face of the Nation of Islam. Boxing authorities stripped him of his title in 1967 on the day he was convicted in just 21 minutes for resisting the draft. Now unemployed, but supported by a growing list of celebrities, he entered a three-year legal battle to stay out of prison, and won his appeal when the supreme court overturned the decision 8-0 in June 1971. The gesture cost him an untold amount of money but consolidated his reputation as a man of principle, especially among younger war protesters. Did he really say any version of “I ain’t got no fight with no Vietnamese” or “Ain’t no Viet Cong called me nigger”? More than likely.t was the Nation of Islam, a group little known or understood at the time, who lurked in the background of Ali’s young life before he even turned professional after winning an Olympic gold medal in Rome in 1960. ut from the time Malcolm X began tutoring him in the teachings of Elijah Muhammad in 1962, he was a committed follower. He famously changed his name, first to Cassius X then Muhammad Ali, before he fought Sonny Liston for the world title in Miami in February, 1964, but the promoter, Bill McDonald, persuaded him to delay the announcement until after the fight. Soon after, Malcolm X was banished by the Nation, and assassinated in Harlem the following February. Did Ali know of the plot to kill his former friend? It has never been properly established. But they had certainly grown apart shortly after the all-American Olympic hero became a subtly controlled professional champion, and embarked on a new phase of his career. He was fiercely proud of his religion and his new identity. “What’s my name?” became the boxer’s calling card in those turbulent years, and many an opponent suffered for their refusal to accept him as Ali. Ali left the Nation of Islam in 1975, embracing Sunni Islam, and he retained his faith for the rest of his life. Clay/Ali certainly beat Sonny Liston on merit in their first fight. Whether or not the dethroned and ageing champion, notoriously a mob stooge, debt collector and ex-con, showed proper enthusiasm for getting up after Ali clipped him on the chin in the first round of their rematch in Lewiston, Maine, in 1965, is doubtful. Liston was quietly eased from the scene as an unwanted villain. Now Ali was moving towards his physical peak. His speed and unorthodoxy bamboozled every contender, from rock-chinned plodders such as George Chuvalo to more brittle-skinned hopefuls such as Henry Cooper and Brian London, who entertained him briefly on his European sojourns. Floyd Patterson suffered at his hands, as did more ambitious opponents, Ernie Terrell and Cleveland “Big Cat” Williams. These were the dazzling pre-banishment early years. We had seen nothing like it. Nor would we again. He did everything wrong, the experts said: he led with his right, he retreated in straight lines, he mugged for the crowd. He entertained in a business that takes itself very seriously. His performance against Williams might have been the most technically perfect of his career, but there would be nights when he would be dragged to the very edge of his commitment to the sport.…

Canada is the most multi-cultural nation in the world, but our government has a dark history of mistreating and oppressing the First Nations people that leads back to the beginning of sovereignty. It is the direct cause for the health crisis First Nations are experiencing today. There is ignorance amongst many Canadians today, and if more people understood the true history of the First Nations people, I believe they would be outraged and we may finally see a rise in quality of life for First Nations people.

Three nations had united under the Great Law of Peace, but the Seneca and Onondaga remained outside it. Both nations relied on war for their power - but also for their safety. Hiawatha and the Peacemaker came to the Seneca expecting an argument, but Jigonsaseh had already convinced them since she was Seneca herself. All but two of the chiefs were ready, but those two chiefs feared what would happen if other nations brought war to their borders. The Peacemaker called a council to discuss their concern, but it quickly dissolved into in-fighting and arguments. To solve it, he established a bicameral legislature where each tribe had a turn to speak. Hiawatha joined the Mohawk and helped legislate a solution, putting the Mohawk and Seneca in charge of the borders with the authority to call the tribes together in war if outsiders threatened the confederacy. The envoys also agreed to follow his plan for Tadodaho. They returned to the Onondaga nation and offered to make Tadodaho their leader, with veto powers over every law. He immediately saw the potential to grow his power, but Jigonsaseh confronted him for his greed and cruelty and convinced him to use his power responsibly. With him, the Onondaga joined the Great Law of Peace. Now Jigonsaseh sat with the women's councils and selected the League representatives, for the women owned the council positions and chose the men who served in them. Those representatives met the Peacemaker on the shores of Onondaga Lake, where he demonstrated how a bundle of five arrows, like the five nations, could not be broken. Then he had them bury their weapons under a white pine tree guarded by an eagle. Those symbols would later be adopted by the United States, whose Founding Fathers studied the Great Law of Peace and adopted many of its principles into their own Constitution. The original Haudenosaunee League drafted laws based on the Peacemaker's teachings, creating a government that served the will of the people. Hiawatha commemorated each of these laws with a series of wampum belts, most notably the Hiawatha Belt which symbolized the five nations coming together in peace. The government they created has lasted for centuries, making it one of the longest lasting participatory democracies in the world.

In 2001 he was arrested in a Japanese airport on a fake Dominican passport under the name Pang Xiong which literally translates to "fat bear". He told authorities he was trying to go to Disneyland afterwhich he ended up being exiled to China. This is why Jim Jong Un is now the supreme leader instead.
Here's a fun fact about Kim: he went to boarding school in Switzerland where his classmates say he was obsessed with basketball but not very bright.
The North Korean military dug tunnels into South Korean territory. Before they got discovered they painted the sides of the tunnels black and claimed they were digging for coal.
In 1978 Kim Jong-Il kidnapped a South Korean film director in Hong Kong to jump start North Korea's film industry. The director managed to escape 8 years later during a film festival in Vienna.
The most famous film to be produced as a result of his kidnapping was a Godzilla ripoff called Pulgasari in which a small rice doll grows into a huge mythical creature that helps the peasants of the land overthrow their monarch. Kim Jong-Il was executive producer.
According to Kim Jong-Il's official biography he was born on Mount Paektu under a double rainbow as a new star appeared in the sky.
He also supposedly learned to walk at 3 weeks old, corrected his elementary school teachers while in class, and ended up writing over 1500 books.
Did we mention that he shot a 38 under par on the national golf course before retiring from the sport because he couldn't do any better. No wonder he's supreme leader.
Despite all this he was deathly afraid of flying and would only travel around the country in armored trains stopping at stations built specifically for him. One Russian diplomat described how he had lobster airlifted to his train everyday
Nearly a quarter million North Koreans live in prison camps surrounded by electrified fencing
All legal televisions are tuned to state-controlled domestic programming
North Korea has a vast network of informants who monitor their fellow citizens and report to authorities. Unauthorized access to TV broadcasts has been punished by execution.
The only internet is a closed domesting network although visitors are allowed 3G access
School children must provide their own desks and chairs. And the money to pay for heating.
North Korea gets most of its funding from providing weapons and narcotics to terror groups and rogue nations. It is also one of the largest counterfeiters of US dollar bills.

The only internet is a closed domesting network although visitors are allowed 3G access
School children must provide their own desks and chairs. And the money to pay for heating.
North Korea gets most of its funding from providing weapons and narcotics to terror groups and rogue nations. It is also one of the largest counterfeiters of US dollar bills.

Cassius Clay, as he was then, was not so much a fighter for peace as a peaceable fighter who needed a reason to fight – and Vietnam was not that reason. He might have feared he could serve in Vietnam when registered 1-A for the draft in 1962, but thought little of it. He was, as Muhammad Ali, reclassified in 1964 as mentally unfit for duty when he failed an IQ test.
But the Army lowered the bar and he was back in the mix two years later, now the heavyweight champion of the world and the very public face of the Nation of Islam. Boxing authorities stripped him of his title in 1967 on the day he was convicted in just 21 minutes for resisting the draft. Now unemployed, but supported by a growing list of celebrities, he entered a three-year legal battle to stay out of prison, and won his appeal when the supreme court overturned the decision 8-0 in June 1971.
The gesture cost him an untold amount of money but consolidated his reputation as a man of principle, especially among younger war protesters. Did he really say any version of “I ain’t got no fight with no Vietnamese” or “Ain’t no Viet Cong called me nigger”? More than likely.t was the Nation of Islam, a group little known or understood at the time, who lurked in the background of Ali’s young life before he even turned professional after winning an Olympic gold medal in Rome in 1960. ut from the time Malcolm X began tutoring him in the teachings of Elijah Muhammad in 1962, he was a committed follower.
He famously changed his name, first to Cassius X then Muhammad Ali, before he fought Sonny Liston for the world title in Miami in February, 1964, but the promoter, Bill McDonald, persuaded him to delay the announcement until after the fight.
Soon after, Malcolm X was banished by the Nation, and assassinated in Harlem the following February. Did Ali know of the plot to kill his former friend? It has never been properly established. But they had certainly grown apart shortly after the all-American Olympic hero became a subtly controlled professional champion, and embarked on a new phase of his career.
He was fiercely proud of his religion and his new identity. “What’s my name?” became the boxer’s calling card in those turbulent years, and many an opponent suffered for their refusal to accept him as Ali.
Ali left the Nation of Islam in 1975, embracing Sunni Islam, and he retained his faith for the rest of his life. Clay/Ali certainly beat Sonny Liston on merit in their first fight. Whether or not the dethroned and ageing champion, notoriously a mob stooge, debt collector and ex-con, showed proper enthusiasm for getting up after Ali clipped him on the chin in the first round of their rematch in Lewiston, Maine, in 1965, is doubtful. Liston was quietly eased from the scene as an unwanted villain.
Now Ali was moving towards his physical peak. His speed and unorthodoxy bamboozled every contender, from rock-chinned plodders such as George Chuvalo to more brittle-skinned hopefuls such as Henry Cooper and Brian London, who entertained him briefly on his European sojourns. Floyd Patterson suffered at his hands, as did more ambitious opponents, Ernie Terrell and Cleveland “Big Cat” Williams.
These were the dazzling pre-banishment early years. We had seen nothing like it. Nor would we again. He did everything wrong, the experts said: he led with his right, he retreated in straight lines, he mugged for the crowd. He entertained in a business that takes itself very seriously. It was another homage to the Canadian flag after doing the same on the day she arrived, wearing a £4,000 Alexander McQueen statement frock in red and white, the national colours of Canada.
She and William mingled with 200 guests in the ballroom of the grand house, the monarch's official residence in the province of British Columbia. But before the reception they joined around 25 people, including First Nations representatives, in the drawing room for a ceremony designed to heal the wounds of conflict between indigenous people and the government.
Assisted by two chiefs, William, 34, added a ring of reconciliation to the Black Rod, a ceremonial staff of British Columbia's Legislature modelled on the one used in Parliament in London.
Created in 2012 for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, it is adorned with three rings, representing the province, Canada, and the link to the UK. William added a fourth ring – engraved with eagle feathers and a canoe – to symbolise First Nations in the province.
In a yellow leather jacket, Grand Chief Edward John of the Tl'atz'en helped hold the Black Rod as Chief Shane Gottfriedson handed William the ring.
He stood in for one of the most influential Indian chiefs in British Columbia who snubbed the ceremony in protest at the treatment of his people by the Canadian government.
Grand Chief Stewart Phillip, leader of 115 First Nation tribes in British Columbia known as the Union of BC Chiefs, said he wad boycotting the ceremony because it was a charade.
'With the deepening poverty of our communities, remembering the missing and murdered indigenous women and girls and the ongoing negligence of indigenous child welfare policies across this country, in good conscience, I cannot participate in the Black Rod Ceremony,' Grand Chief Phillip said in a statement.
Kensington Palace officials declined to comment on the controversy,
William and Kate have met First Nations representatives on their tour but have avoided publicly discussing some social issues, including the high level of suicides among indigenous people.
In Britain the couple have launched a campaign to highlight the high rate of suicide among young men and to encourage preventative measures.

When the Department of Homeland Security was founded in 2003, its stated purpose was "preventing terrorist attacks within the United States and reducing America's vulnerability to terrorism." The Bush administration's definition of the enemy as a tactic, terrorism, rather than a specific movement, proved consequential amid a culture of political correctness. By the time President Obama took office, Muslim Brotherhood-linked leaders in the United States were forcing changes to national security policy and even being invited into the highest chambers of influence. In a recent headline from South China Morning Post, it was announced that China and the United States are set to ratify the Paris climate deal ahead of the 11th G20 Summit — which is set to take place on September 4-5th, 2016, in Hangzhou, China.
Attendees for this summit will include President Barack Obama, President Xi Jinping of China, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President François Hollande, Russian President Vladimir Putin — along with members from the European Union (EU), and many others.
Ratifying such a treaty will be paramount: not just for America, but also for all of the other nations involved. However, if enacted in America specifically, Mr. Obama would be going against the Constitution, and would be thereby ratifying the Paris accord on climate change without approval from the Senate… bypassing the Senate and Congress altogether.
But why is Mr. Obama so frank about signing this deal into office — even before he “leaves” office? In fact, a better question is this: why are ALL world governments pushing such an Agenda?
Because with the Paris accord alone, 195 countries adopted the first-ever universal climate deal as of December 2015, at the Paris climate conference "COP 21." This was further introduced from the Kyoto Protocol, which was adopted back in December 1997: entering into force as of February 16th, 2005. According to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), these international agreements are to assist with other nations in combating adverse effects of “climate change.”
Although they want you to believe that this Paris agreement focuses solely on targeting climate change, greenhouse emissions reduction, and the “threat of global warming,” there is of course something BIGGER going on!

Contrary to popular belief, the conduct of nations on the international stage is almost never driven by moral considerations, but rather by a shadowy cocktail of money and geopolitics. As such, when you see the mouthpieces of the ruling class begin to demonize a foreign country, the first question in your mind should always be "what is actually at stake here?"
For some time now Russia, China, Iran, and Syria have been in the cross hairs. Once you understand why, the events unfolding in the world right now will make much more sense.
The U.S. dollar is a unique currency. In fact its current design and its relationship to geopolitics is unlike any other in history. Though it has been the world reserve currency since 1944, this is not what makes it unique. Many currencies have held the reserve status off and on over the centuries, but what makes the dollar unique is the fact that since the early 1970s it has been, with a few notable exceptions, the only currency used to buy and sell oil on the global market.
Prior to 1971 the U.S. dollar was bound to the gold standard, at least officially. According to the IMF, by 1966, foreign central banks held $14 billion U.S. dollars, however the United States had only $3.2 billion in gold allocated to cover foreign holdings.
Translation: the Federal Reserve was printing more money than it could actually back.
The result was rampant inflation and a general flight from the dollar.
Now you might be wondering how the dollar has maintained such a dominant position on the world stage for over forty years if it's really little more than an elaborate ponzi scheme.
Well this is where the dollar meets geopolitics.
In 1973 under the shadow of the artificial OPEC oil crisis, the Nixon administration began secret negotiations with the government of Saudi Arabia to establish what came to be referred to as the petrodollar recycling system. Under the arrangement the Saudis would only sell their oil in U.S. dollars, and would invest the majority of their excess oil profits into U.S. banks and Capital markets. The IMF would then use this money to facilitate loans to oil importers who were having difficulties covering the increase in oil prices. The payments and interest on these loans would of course be denominated in U.S. dollars.
This agreement was formalized in the "The U.S.-Saudi Arabian Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation" put together by Nixon's Secretary of State Henry Kissinger in 1974.
Another document released by the Congressional Research Service reveals that these negotiations had an edge to them, as U.S. officials were openly discussing the feasibility of seizing oil fields in Saudi Arabia militarily.
Though presented as buffer to the recessionary effects of rising oil prices, this arrangement had a hidden side effect. It removed the traditional restraints on U.S. monetary policy.
The Federal Reserve was now free to increase the money supply at will. The ever increasing demand for oil would would prevent a flight from the dollar, while distributing the inflationary consequences across the entire planet.
The dollar went from being a gold back currency to a oil backed currency. It also became America's primary export.
Did you ever wonder how the U.S. economy has been able to stay afloat while running multibillion dollar trade deficits for decades?
This petrodollar system stood unchallenged until September of 2000 when Saddam Hussein announced his decision to switch Iraq's oil sales off of the dollar to Euros. This was a direct attack on the dollar, and easily the most important geopolitical event of the year, but only one article in the western media even mentioned it.
In the same month that Saddam announced he was moving away from the dollar, an organization called the “The Project for a New American Century”, of which Dick Cheney just happened to be a member, released a document entitled “REBUILDING AMERICA’S DEFENSES Strategy, Forces and Resources For a New Century”. This document called for massive increases in U.S. military spending and a much more aggressive foreign policy in order to expand U.S. dominance world wide. However the document lamented that achieving these goals would take many years “absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor”.

Though presented as buffer to the recessionary effects of rising oil prices, this arrangement had a hidden side effect. It removed the traditional restraints on U.S. monetary policy.
The Federal Reserve was now free to increase the money supply at will. The ever increasing demand for oil would would prevent a flight from the dollar, while distributing the inflationary consequences across the entire planet.
The dollar went from being a gold back currency to a oil backed currency. It also became America's primary export.
Did you ever wonder how the U.S. economy has been able to stay afloat while running multibillion dollar trade deficits for decades?
This petrodollar system stood unchallenged until September of 2000 when Saddam Hussein announced his decision to switch Iraq's oil sales off of the dollar to Euros. This was a direct attack on the dollar, and easily the most important geopolitical event of the year, but only one article in the western media even mentioned it.
In the same month that Saddam announced he was moving away from the dollar, an organization called the “The Project for a New American Century”, of which Dick Cheney just happened to be a member, released a document entitled “REBUILDING AMERICA’S DEFENSES Strategy, Forces and Resources For a New Century”. This document called for massive increases in U.S. military spending and a much more aggressive foreign policy in order to expand U.S. dominance world wide. However the document lamented that achieving these goals would take many years “absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor”.
