Reece Mastin (born 24 November 1994), is a British-Australian singer and songwriter. In 2011, he won the third season of The X Factor (Australia) and signed a recording contract with Sony Music Australia. His debut single "Good Night" reached number one in Australia and New Zealand, and received platinum certifications in both countries. It became the fastest selling digital single by an artist signed to Sony Music Australia. In December 2011, Mastin released his self-titled debut album, which was a commercial success, debuting at number two on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified double platinum. Mastin has already begun working on his second album. "Shut Up & Kiss Me" was released as the album's first single in April 2012.
Reece Mastin was born on 24 November 1994 in Scunthorpe, England to parents Debbie and Darren Mastin. Mastin has three sisters. At the age of seven, he was diagnosed with glue ear syndrome, a condition that is "caused by a chronic build-up of fluid in the middle ear and is the biggest cause of hearing loss in young children". At the age of 11, Mastin and his family moved to Greenwith, South Australia, citing the weather and to seek better opportunities as reasons for the move.
William Martin "Billy" Joel (born May 9, 1949) is an American pianist, singer-songwriter, and composer. Since releasing his first hit song, "Piano Man," in 1973, Joel has become the sixth best-selling recording artist and the third best-selling solo artist in the United States, according to the RIAA.
Joel had Top 40 hits in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, achieving 33 Top 40 hits in the United States, all of which he wrote himself. He is also a six-time Grammy Award winner, a 23-time Grammy nominee and has sold over 150 million records worldwide. He was inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame (1992), the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (1999), the Long Island Music Hall of Fame (2006), and the Hit Parade Hall of Fame (2009). In 2008, Billboard magazine released a list of the Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists to celebrate the US singles chart's 50th anniversary, with Billy Joel positioned at No. 23. With the exception of the 2007 songs "All My Life" and "Christmas in Fallujah," Joel stopped recording pop/rock material after 1993's River of Dreams, but he continued to tour extensively until 2010.
Feels like a lifetime ago, when I would always home,
You would tell it in my arms.
Seems that so much has changed, but it all hurts the same,
And I don't know how to ease it.
And I know that you are right, cause someday I see you, I can, again.
When I call your name at night,
All I really wanna see is the look that's in your eyes.
And when I scream your name at night
All I wanna do is look into your eyes and say goodnight,
Goodnight.
I wish I would have known which way our lies would grow
To from my heart was wasted
But the damage has been done and now I'm the only one,
Let's leave the try and make it.
And I know that you will wait, cause someday I'll see you again.
When I call your name at night,
All I really wanna see is the look that's in your eyes.
And when I scream your name at night
All I wanna do is look into your eyes and say goodnight,
Goodnight.
When we drift apart?
I know it's been so long, I still care for you
And with you, that's where I belong,
I belong with you.
The beauty that I see when I hold you tight
With the bodies in the mere, please stay one more night.
One last night.
I wish I would have known which way our lies would grow
Before my heart was wasted.
When I call your name at night,
All I really wanna see is the look that's in your eyes.
And when I scream your name at night
All I wanna do is look into your eyes and say goodnight,
