SHE has already modelled for Marc Jacobs and had a hit song (Whip My Hair) and now Willow Smith has been named the new face of Chanel.
At 15, Smith is the youngest model to hold the title of muse to the French fashion house’s head designer, Karl Lagerfeld.
“Sitting in the chairs and just watching the clothes walk by is so amazing because you get to see the soul that’s inside of them,” Willow told Teen Vogue.

“I feel like there is so much creativity going on that I want to inject some of my ideas and some of my energy into the brand, because I feel like there’s a lot of things that come from youth nowadays that need to be expressed and amplified to the world.”
Willow is the daughter of Hollywood power couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.

She joins Lily Rose Depp, Kristen Stewart, and Blake Lively, who are also associated with the Chanel brand.

The announcement was made in Paris where Willow attended Chanel’s autumn/winter ready-to-wear show — dubbed #FrontRowOnly — at the Grand Palais, posing with Lagerfeld, who she met in 2014 when he photographed her for V magazine.

Willow sat front row at the show with her mother, Jada, along with Kris Jenner and Pharrell Williams to watch models including Gigi Hadid, her sister Bella, and Kendall Jenner strut.

“You can just tell all the clothes are just crafted with so much care, and you can tell that there’s so much soul put into how they are designed,” Smith told Women’s Wear Daily, according to Teen Vogue.
“That’s really the goal that I try to strive for, for everything that I do.
“It’s like, putting in so much thought and feeling inside of the art that you make, so that everyone can feel it around you.”
