Lisa Muxworthy, Deputy Editor

Lisa is deputy editor at news.com.au. She has been a journalist for more than 16 years, having worked predominantly in community newspapers. After years of reporting on politics, health and general news, Lisa worked as a sub editor and then editor at The Southern Courier and The Mosman Daily, before being appointed news editor at The Manly Daily.

Hannah_Stenning

Hannah Stenning is the commissioning editor for news.com.au. After graduating from UTS she began her career in journalism fetching coffee for Kerri-Anne Kennerley, before joining the Today Show as a producer. Prior to joining News.com.au she travelled Australia and the world as a producer for Channel 9's 60 Minutes, where she had the awful first overseas assignment of reporting on Blue Whales in the Maldives.

Malcolm Farr, Federal Politics

Mal is national political editor of news.com.au. His 40 years in journalism include the past 22 years in Canberra. He has also worked for newspapers in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Rome for The Australian, The Daily Mirror, the Brisbane Sun, The Daily Telegraph, and the International Daily News. Rides a motorbike without falling off...so far.

James Law

James started his career at his hometown newspaper, the Wingham Chronicle, a one-journalist gig where he wrote the stories, took the photos, laid out the pages and put the bins out. He was editor of the Hunter Valley’s Muswellbrook Chronicle, before joining News Corp’s stable of community newspapers in Sydney as an editor. He is a federal politics junkie, and when he’s not at work you’re likely to find him enjoying some live music.

Cameron Tomarchio

Cameron is the Sports Editor for news.com.au and has spent the past 10 years as a sports journalist and editor for AAP, Alpha magazine and Fox Sports. He’s constantly on the hunt for the best stories in sport, so if you have a tip be sure to get in touch.

Jai_Bednall

Originally from Adelaide, Jai is a sports journalist at news.com.au with 10 years experience in the industry - including the past five with The Advertiser. He has a particular passion for AFL and is also a keen follower of NFL, NBA, surfing, boxing and the world game.

Matt is the New York Correspondent for news.com.au A senior journalist, Matt has over 10 years experience including over seven years at News Corp. Matt is a vibrant and energetic newshound who knows exactly what gets you talking, what makes you laugh and what makes you furious. Banksy, as he's more commonly known – is the night editor at news.com.au. He enjoys breaking news and telling stories; sharing them with readers and building communities. His role is to set the news agenda for the following day and help shape discussion around the stories of the day.

Sam Clench, News

Sam is the Homepage Editor at news.com.au. While he is best known for his spectacularly bad haircut, Sam does write the occasional story, and is particularly obsessed with sport, US politics and anything related to Game of Thrones. He once earned a postgraduate degree in journalism from UTS, though we're not entirely sure how.

Debra loves being the first to know information which makes it easy for her to respond to breaking news quickly for news.com.au. Debra has 13 years’ experience in the national and international press and online media, with almost half of that spent working overseas. Debra spent six years in the UK working for the Mirror Group including the Mail Online.

Charis Chang

Charis has worked for 10 years as a journalist covering politics, health, transport and infrastructure. She loves the variety of being a reporter and reporting on interesting people, ideas and policy. She has lived and travelled around Australia and the world, and worked as a paralegal before deciding to follow her dream of being a reporter.

Ali has been news.com.au's roving entertainment reporter for six years and firmly believes she has the best job in the world. Navigating the waters of movies, music, TV and Hollywood gossip, she is kept on her toes by the thrilling world of celebrity news, and has interviewed some of the world’s most well-known stars such as Rihanna, Mark Wahlberg, Usher, Sandra Bullock, Daniel Craig and Lady Gaga.

Andrew is an entertainment writer for news.com.au. He was a breakfast radio producer for seven years before deciding that he is much better suited to a job that doesn’t require he be in bed by 7.30pm. He’s loves tracking down celebrities for a quick chat, and has spoken to Lady Gaga, Chris Rock, Usher and Merlin from Big Brother (the latter was a lot easier to track down).

Charlotte is news.com.au’s TV Writer and also our go-to-girl for all things gossip and Hollywood – the good, the bad and the ugly. When she’s not out chasing the latest celeb scandal, she can be found at the nearest live gig or people watching over a latte.

Melissa Hoyer - Entertainment Editor-At-Large

Melissa is a journalist and commentator who is obsessed with every tentacle of popular culture.
