Priscilla

Priscilla is an English female given name adopted from the Roman Prisca, derived from the Latin priscus . One suggestion is that it is intended to bestow long life on the bearer.

It appears in the New Testament of the Christian Bible variously as Priscilla and Prisca, a female leader in the early Church. The name appears in English literature in Edmund Spenser's The Faerie Queene (1596) and was adopted as an English name by the Puritans in the 17th century. The use of the name began to decline during the 1960s, possibly because of an association with the slang term prissy, in the sense of meaning prim or prudish.

Diminutive forms of the name include Lily, Cilla, Pris, Prissy, Prisk, Pru/Prue and Scilla.

Uniqueness quantification

In mathematics and logic, the phrase "there is one and only one" is used to indicate that exactly one object with a certain property exists. In mathematical logic, this sort of quantification is known as uniqueness quantification or unique existential quantification.

Uniqueness quantification is often denoted with the symbols "∃!" or ∃₌₁". For example, the formal statement

may be read aloud as "there is exactly one natural number n such that n - 2 = 4".

Proving uniqueness

The most common technique to proving uniqueness is to first prove existence of entity with the desired condition; then, to assume there exist two entities (say, a and b) that should both satisfy the condition, and logically deduce their equality, i.e. a = b.

As a simple high school example, to show x + 2 = 5 has only one solution, we assume there are two solutions first, namely, a and b, satisfying x + 2 = 5. Thus

This simple example shows how a proof of uniqueness is done, the end result being the equality of the two quantities that satisfy the condition. However, that existence/expressibility must be proven before uniqueness, or else we cannot even assume the existence of those two quantities to begin with our current knowledge to date.

Unique Priscilla

Unique Priscilla Mauretha (born 21 September 1970), better known as Cilla, is an Indonesian model and actress.

Biography

Unique Priscilla was born in Jakarta (21 september 1970) to Kusbanu Hadi Soemarto from Madiun and Mauretha of Ambon, she is the eldest of two children of the couple. she began her modeling career in 1985 for the fashion magazine, Covergirl.

She graduated in 1993 from the University of Kansas in School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Before becoming an actress, she started her career as a TV presenter for television channels RCTI and SCTV.

Personal life

Unique Priscilla met actor Bucek Depp in 1997 on the set of the series Anak Menteng, they were married on 6 January 2001 by the laws of the Islam and Christianity. This interfaith marriage ended in divorce because of infidelity repetitive Bucek, which led him to leave home early in January 2007. The two had a daughter together, Arla Ailani Muchtar, who went to live with her mother after the collapse of their household.

RCTI

RCTI (Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia) is Indonesia's first privately owned television network and is based in West Jakarta. RCTI broadcasts Indonesian Idol as well as sinetron (soap operas), films, news and current affairs, reality shows and religious programs. Background

On 6 November 1988, state broadcaster TVRI lost its monopoly when the government's sixth 4-year plan allowed private television stations to begin broadcasting. RCTI was officially inaugurated on the morning of 24 August 1989 by President Soeharto as Indonesia's first privately owned commercial broadcasting terrestrial television network. Evening programming was launched by Minister of Information Harmoko. It initially broadcast to the Jakarta area from Jabodetabek as a local pay television channel and was awarded a nationwide license one year later. It now has 48 relay stations around Indonesia and reaches 180 million viewers. It is 100 percent owned by PT Media Nusantara Citra (MNC), which also owns Global TV and 75 percent of MNCTV, both private Indonesian television stations.
