"Please Mr. Postman" is a song written by Georgia Dobbins, William Garrett, Freddie Gorman, Brian Holland, and Robert Bateman. It is the debut single by the Marvelettes for the Tamla (Motown) label, notable as the first Motown song to reach the number-one position on the Billboard Hot 100 pop singles chart. The single achieved this position in late 1961; it hit number one on the R&B chart as well. "Please Mr. Postman" became a number-one hit again in early 1975 when the Carpenters' cover of the song reached the top position of the Billboard Hot 100. "Please Mr. Postman" has been covered several times, including a 1963 version by the English rock group the Beatles.
In April 1961, the Marvelettes (then known as "The Marvels") arranged an audition for Berry Gordy's Tamla label. Marvels member Georgia Dobbins needed an original song for their audition, and got a blues song from her friend William Garrett, which she then reworked for the group. Dobbins left the group after the audition and was replaced, Gordy renamed the group and hired "Brianbert"—Brian Holland and Robert Bateman's songwriting partnership—to rework the song yet again. Freddie Gorman, another songwriting partner of Holland (before Holland became part of the Holland–Dozier–Holland team) was also involved in the final reworking.
The Beatles were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960. With members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, they became widely regarded as the foremost and most influential act of the rock era. Rooted in skiffle, beat, and 1950s rock and roll, the Beatles later experimented with several genres, ranging from pop ballads and Indian music to psychedelia and hard rock, often incorporating classical elements in innovative ways. In the early 1960s, their enormous popularity first emerged as "Beatlemania", but as the group's music grew in sophistication, led by primary songwriters Lennon and McCartney, they came to be perceived as an embodiment of the ideals shared by the counterculture of the 1960s.
The Beatles built their reputation playing clubs in Liverpool and Hamburg over a three-year period from 1960, with Stuart Sutcliffe initially serving as bass player. The core of Lennon, McCartney and Harrison went through a succession of drummers, most notably Pete Best, before asking Starr to join them. Manager Brian Epstein moulded them into a professional act and producer George Martin enhanced their musical potential. They gained popularity in the United Kingdom after their first hit, "Love Me Do", in late 1962. They acquired the nickname "the Fab Four" as Beatlemania grew in Britain over the following year, and by early 1964 they had become international stars, leading the "British Invasion" of the United States pop market. From 1965 onwards, the Beatles produced what many consider their finest material, including the innovative and widely influential albums Rubber Soul (1965), Revolver (1966), Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967), The Beatles (commonly known as the White Album, 1968) and Abbey Road (1969).
"Get Enough" is the debut single by American indie rock band Ivy. It was released in 1994 on Seed Records, and was included the following year on the band's debut studio album, Realistic.
The track was released as a limited-edition 7" vinyl record, backed by B-side "Drag You Down".
At the time of release, "Get Enough" received mixed reviews from critics. Nitsuh Abebe stated that along with the rest of Realistic, it "[wasn't] very memorable". However, Melody Maker quickly named the track, "Single of the Week" in the United Kingdom.
Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) was an American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actor. Called the King of Pop, his contributions to music and dance, along with his publicized personal life, made him a global figure in popular culture for over four decades.
The eighth child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music scene along with his elder brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon as a member of the Jackson 5 in 1964, and began his solo career in 1971. In the early 1980s, Jackson became a dominant figure in popular music. The music videos for his songs, including those of "Beat It", "Billie Jean", and "Thriller" from his 1982 album Thriller, were credited with breaking down racial barriers and with transforming the medium into an art form and promotional tool. The popularity of these videos helped to bring the then-relatively-new television channel MTV to fame. His 1987 album Bad spawned the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles "I Just Can't Stop Loving You", "Bad", "The Way You Make Me Feel", "Man in the Mirror", and "Dirty Diana", becoming the first album to have five number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100. With videos such as "Black or White" and "Scream", he continued to innovate the medium throughout the 1990s, as well as forging a reputation as a touring solo artist. Through stage and video performances, Jackson popularized a number of complicated dance techniques, such as the robot and the moonwalk, to which he gave the name. His distinctive sound and style has influenced numerous artists of various music genres.

Footage from the "Caludon Castle Presents The Beatles Live" concert on 31st March 2010.
This was about 3 months after the last videos were taken (those were taken around December 2010) and these were done about 3 months ago from the time of this upload. [5-31-2011] As per usual, we do about two (2) videos a session. Filming takes one whole day, and editing takes up another whole day (not long at all for two videos IMO). In every one of my videos, I ALWAYS like to try at least one thing new. Here, there were a lot of things I did. I now had a 60" tripod, and a brand new Canon Vixia HF S200 (Everything about this thing is excellent except for the manual zoom, and the lack of an electronic viewfinder). This was the first "project" to test out the camera. With a tripod, there were lots of things I could now do to the camera's view, except for horizontally moving in a stra...

Wait!
Oh yes, wait just a minute Mr. Postman
Wait!
Wait Mr. Postman
Mr. Postman, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a letter in your bag for me
(Please, please Mr. Postman)
I've been waiting a long long time
(Oh yeah)
Since I heard from that gal of mine
There must be some word someday
From my girlfriend so far away
Please Mr. Postman look and see
If there's a letter, a letter for me
I've been standing here waiting Mr. Postman
So-o-o patiently
For just a card or just a letter
Saying she's returning home to me
Please Mr. Postman
Mr. Postman, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a letter in your bag for me
(Please, please Mr. Postman)
I've been waiting a long long time
(Oh yeah)
Since I heard from that gal of mine
So many days you passed me by
Trail of tears standing in my eye
You didn't stop to make me feel better
By leaving me a card or a letter
Mr. Postman
Mr. Postman, look and see
Is there a letter in your bag for me?
(Oh yeah for me)
I've been waiting such a long time
Since I heard from that girlfriend of mine
You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute, oh yeah
(Mr. Postman)
Wait a minute, wait a minute, oh yeah
(Mr. Postman)
You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute, oh yeah
(Mr. Postman)
Check it and see, one more time for me
You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute, oh yeah
(Mr. Postman)
Wait a minute, wait a minute, oh yeah
(Mr. Postman)
Mr. Postman, oh yeah
(Wait a minute, wait a minute Mr. Postman)
Deliver the letter, the sooner the better
You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute, oh yeah
(Mr. Postman)
Wait a minute, wait a minute, oh yeah
(Mr. Postman)
You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute, oh yeah
(Mr. Postman)
You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute, oh yeah
